A New Beginning

Kaiya who was trying to get in more with the conversation but was glad that Yamato did not press any further about her history. She was not usually comfortable talking about it, especially with strangers. She knew they were a team but she had just met them that morning and was not willing to share that part of her past yet with really anyone. She had a made up name that she chose honoring her clan and no record here of anything she did in the past to haunt her she was just happy to finally move on and not have to worry about the Sad Flute Clan anymore. She would continue with happy conversation with them when all of a sudden Yamato ran into the grocery store and would be stumbling out with a lot of different bags and groceries she would say “Oh dearth, let us help you with that. You will bruise the vegetables if you drop them. Let us have some bags in order to help.” She would come and grab a bag then hand the rest off to Shin. But Yamato carried most of the bags and Kaiya They would take the groceries up to the farm house and then get on to the next mission. Shin said for Kaiya to help Yamato with the gardening and she would put on some gloves and go over the the garden with Yamato. She would say “I know we are on a mission but you don’t have to work yourself to death. Enjoy life it’s shorter then you realize. You cannot let a tragic past ruin your future, you have to look for new beginnings. Be happy and have fun.” She would continue gardening and making some small talk unless Yamato asked any big questions. She would be pulling weeds and pruning bushes. She would continue till Shin got back “You finish that line of the rice field already? Alright give us 10 to 15 more minutes and we will be done. Just take a break and drink some water.” She would finish her side of the garden and Yamato would shortly follow.

“Ok we should probably get cleaned up and head to the academy to teach the young minds for the day. I think the academy has showers where we can clean ourselves.” She would follow Yamato and let him lead the way to the acedemy.

The work went by without any issues as Shin finished up the work in the fields and Yamato and Kaiya finished up the gardening. They grouped back up and started making their way back to the academy to go through the lesson that they were helping with. Yamato suggested that each have a role and he wanted to be the lookout to keep an eye on everyone and simply make sure nothing interfered with the lesson while implying either Kaiya or Shin could be the face of the group to lead it.

“Sure I’ll do that.” Shin offered as they arrived at the academy. Shin went through the lesson plan to make sure there hadn’t been any changes and once he had verified that everything was still the same he passed word to the other two in his team about what they would be doing. Simple exercises and Chakra control routine was all they had planned so Shin stood in front of the class, “Good Afternoon Students. I am Shin Uchiha and My teammates and I will be leading you today in your studies. We were brought in to help give some real life experience to help with your growth and knowledge so please don’t be afraid to ask us something if you get lost or unsure.” Finishing off that bit of introduction Shin made sure to introduce each member and then began the class in earnest covering the source material as needed and then offering help on form and usage as the time went on.

Training and the proper forms on doing so was something that Shin quite loved to do in his free time anyways so the fact that the lesson plan and that met up so well was quite enjoyable for the young Shinobi. The class ended without any issue that he could tell and that meant it was time to turn in the slips and get his rewards for completing the missions. Yamato gave his departing words and cards in case they needed to contact him for future missions or just in general and Shin put it away in his pocket to hold on to.
Once he was done there and gave his goodbyes to both shinobi Shin made his way to the mission board to get his reward and then would head home to get some sleep.

They would go on their patrol next she was not expecting any trouble but yamoto still seemed worried about it. “I will take care of you two if you get hurt and can provide some support and maybe a few clashes if it comes to blows.  I can use a blade if necessary if you wish i will back you up no matter what. How about i stay back here with Yotaru and You and the missing nin takes the lead in this case.” She would wink at him “i am sure that he will do great with it.” going up and down the hallways she would get bored and excited at the same time always asking “How much longer? When do we get to go see the little children?” she would start to get impatient but it would be over soon enough. They would go through the patrol without incident and it would be a leisurely walk to the classroom where the children were waiting for them. Kaiyas smile would also be from ear to ear.

Kaiya would follow the others into the academy in order to teach the children the lesson for the day. “Are you excited for all the children? I am so excited to go and try to shape all these beautiful minds and talk to them. This is going to be so exciting don’t you agree? What could possibly go wrong? Teach them a little bit about the life of a shinobi. We should probably let Yamato, who has the most experience, lead the way.  He does have the most experience I think or maybe the missing nin but the horns might be a bit distracting for the children.” She would try not to imply that the children would be scared of the horns.  But they would eventually reach the academy and the classroom where they would be teaching.  

Shin would kind of take charge introducing everyone and when he introduced kaiya she would step forward saying “Hello class i am Kaiya. I will be working with these three to help teach you some of the basics.” She would kind of squeak saying “You all are so adorable.” but then shin would continue with the lesson. She would agree and help him as much as she could. She would get distracted all the time and they would have to get her back on track. The lesson would go great and she would go home feeling happy .

Little did Sakurai knew that there were series of missions lying ahead of him. He would finally meet with those that he would be taking the mission with. But there would be a change of plan. Now, that it has come to Sakurai’s knowledge that there were series of other missions ahead of them. The red hair would suggest that each of them tackle the mission separately. 


The ushitora would begin to make his approach to his first mission. it was a simple one; a patrol mission of the headquarters. Even though Sakurai was not a citizen of Tanbogakure, he decided to take on missions in the village. This particular patrol mission, would make him familiar with the settings of the village that had welcomed him for many weeks now.  Since it was just a patrol mission, the ushitora would not expect it to be too be ifficult.


The Ushitora would start his journey to the village headquarters. it is said that it is one of the safest village, and it is a place to learn new trades and new tricks, especially for beginners like Sakurai. The day was getting and The sun was beginning to smile brightly in a scorching way. The Ushitora’ss feet were already getting from the long walk, but after a long journey, he would finally arrive at the village headquarters.  The red haired could see why the part of the village is one of the safest in the village. it was simply because there were guards almost everywhere, and it would seem that the only place without guards would be the places that the Ushitora would have to guard. The Ushiora would walk towards a tap, and switch it on to get a drink. Thankfully, the tap was running, and the water was also clean. The water would heomlp quench the weary spiky haired from his thirst. After enough drink, The horned master would sit underneath a nearby tree, to get some rest. Patrol has started. The spiky haired would to sit and look around his surroundings for some while. After some minutes, he would get on his feet and start walking to patrol the village headquarters. There were no dogs given for this patrol mission, perhaps because the village leaders in charge of mission sector thought the patrol was harmless and not dangerous. Well, dogs or not, the ushitora has his five sense fully awakened for this mission. Even though he has not really learn the art of sensory specialty, and he does not have even have a dojutsu that gives him sensory abilities like the byakugan or the sharigan, two legendary dojutsu. The byakugan, a dojutsu that gives a three sixty degree vision to the wielder of the dojutsu and enables the hyuuga clan members to effectively use their clan taijutsu technique, while the sharigan is a dojutsu which enable the uchiha to have access to powerful jutsu, from shocking ninjutsu to devastating genjutsu . The ushitora would just just have to trust his senses. 




The ocean blue eyed would gaze around to see that everything or activity around him was going on normally, with no disturbance. The essence of this patrol is to check out these areas and report for any disturbances. 




The Ushitora would continue with he patrol.   And it seems that his timeshift was up. The spiky haired would need to move on to another mission. This was in fact the most peaceful mission he had done, all he did was to patrol one of the safest places in the village. Normally, Sakurai should head home, but because the boy needs money, he would continue to take on these missions to get money to take care of himself. After all, he no longer have a family. They are all wiped out by a flood that destroyed a lot of building structures in the village. The Ushitora’ next mission is to help the new academy students with their training and to encourage them. 






Without wasting time, the spiky haired would head to the ninja academy of Tanbogakure. It was believed that every village has one. The horned master would arrive at the ninja academy in his red cloak, underneath which were worn, meshed net shirt, red pant. He also worn a red shinobi sandal. Usually, Sakurai would have his mask on, but based on this current mission, he would not be dressed unmasked, as he would be addressing a large group of new academy student. The ushitora would move to the academy field where the newly admitted academy student were already wait. The Ushitora would stand in front of the students. There were chunks of trees and stones in the environment. Sakurai is to teach and encourage the students. “Good morning to you all,” the spiky haired would say, to which the students would reply with a good morning Sir. “Firstly, I'm sorry a bit late, I was cut up with some village issues. Ok, without wasting time, it's your first day at the ninja academy, and I know you are all excited to be here this morning. But I want you to know that on every road to success, there are always obstacles. You can not become successful without going through trials. you will go through fire and be tired. Prospective ninjas! I encourage you today, do not give up when you are tried, as your trial is not forever, it's only a matter of time. If you persist in what you are doing, and do not give up, you'll be successful. You will become formidable shinobi. All the village kages you see today were just like you, they were not born into being a kage,. They were tried, but did not give up, and in the end, they become influential people. With this, I will say, never give up, and you will be able to achieve anything. Thank you.” Sakurai last word was followed with a thunderous clap from the students. Sakurai had truly motivated, as the students now seem to be in a very high spirit. Sakurai could remember that there was a time when he was like like this. No knowledge of anything, no skills. He was not a special kid, just someone who is persistence, consistent and would never give up. The Ushira would then move to begin to teach the Academy some basic ninja jutsu. Even though the Ushitora was mainly taijutsu expert, he still have some basic knowledge about ninjutsu. So, he was able to teach the students, surface walking technique. It was a technique that allows every ninja to walk on surface that they normally shouldn't be able to walk on.  For instance, walking on water, walk on a tree vertically. Though it took the newly admitted academy students some time to get the technique, they were all later able to master the technique. The Ushitlra would even go ahead to teach them the substitution technique. This one was easier to learn that the surface walking water walking technique. Sakurai used a river to teach them how shinobi could walk on water. The students were truly amazing when they saw that Sakurai was able to walk in water. Having being Motivated by Sakurai earlier, they knew that they can do it.  Though it was not easy at first. Most don't always get it at first, but with time they were able to master the technique.  The spiky haired ocean blue eyed would leave the new admitted academy students with parting words and would wave good bye to them.


It has been a really hectic day for Sakurai. The Ushitora knew fully well that he has completed his mission for the day.  He and his teammates has completed their mission, his team mates finished before him tho. But that does not mean that Sakurai was slacking at his duties. The Ocean blue eyed would meet with his with his partners to say his goodbye. His teammates have been helpful in making the mission completion faster. The Sakurai would head home. The tired lad just wanna rest and watch Netflix, if such existed.
