This fight was certainly a bit disappointing in terms of how short it was in comparison to what Toran thought it was going to be. It made sense that Morio was indeed as strong as he was, with how long he had been gone, he must have gone through some intense kinds of training in order to be able to fight against a Jonin with almost no problems. Not only that but the manner of which Morio had done so through the use of Space-Time ninjutsu and a swing of his sword to pin down an opponent certainly was a scary combination. It made it so you had to find a way to dodge the initial swing of the sword itself and not only that, but the wind itself was also seemingly a problem that anyone would have to face if they were fighting against Morio. The fact that there were two Hoshimura’s in this tournament, and both of them were some of the more impressive fighters spoke volumes about the kind of work ethic that the both of them had. Yet they also were a bit similar in terms of weaponry, although Toran had no idea that Tsunayoshi was also a fantastic user of Space-Time as well. Their dojutsu as well, something that also certainly interested the Uchiha was seemingly on the same power as the Sharingan’s own vision of chakra and prowess. Yet Toran could only feel amazed at how strong Morio was, it made things rather interesting that the two stronger individuals within Team Winter were of Younger age than that of their superiors in age. Perhaps the new generation is interfering with the old Generation and all that.
“He really is something, can’t believe he beat a Jonin all on his own…. He certainly has surpassed us at this point… It just means we gotta get even stronger then beforehand if we have a chance of keeping up with him in the future. At this rate he might become just as powerful as Yamato-Sensei.”
Perhaps it was for the best that Toran took up the knowledge of a sword, as it would be very interesting to learn how to use Kenjutsu in a fight. That feeling of wanting to hold a blade came back to him in full force again after seeing it for the first time with Isemori. He wondered how a sword would feel to simply hold, he’d have to buy some of his own materials in the future if that was the case, after this he should also ask Morio if he could help forge him a blade. Since it was better than practicing with only a Kunai inside of his hand that ended up getting chipped overtime from use.
“We’ll catch up eventually, all of us will. Then we can help crush those that so much as dared attack our village. That is what we should be working on… Team winter should have a meet up soon, don’t you agree Typhon? I’m sure all of us now could beat Yamato if we truly wanted to.”
Perhaps it was bad to mention that they could defeat Yamato, but upon seeing Morio able to take out the supposed prince of Hoshigakure. Toran could only think about how everyone who was spectating was once on the same level as him. All genin who had heaps and bounds of potential locked inside of them. It was certainly only a matter of time before one was able to reach that height and evolve past even the Hogokage. It made him want to evolve further, that urge, that ambition began to burn again. He was desperate almost to prove himself since the attack, eating away at him as he only stood there with a grin plastered on his face. Someone would come out of this with those jackets and rank that made them the protectors of the village. Yet whether that would be Morio, or someone else inside of the tournament was certainly a mystery. One that he hoped to find out the more he spectated the following matches.

Observant as ever, Ashborn made sure to take note of both participants' movements and actions, the young Yamaguchi still lacking when it came to combat experience and hoping to possibly learn a thing or two from watching. Both of them would walk towards the center of the stage, exchanging a couple of words before battling it out in hope of coming out on top and pushing through to the next round. As soon as the Seal of Confrontation had been formed, both as a sign of respect as greeting the opponent, the proctor signaled the two shinobi to finally begin the fight.
As soon as the match started, the young Ametsuchi heir reached for one of his swords and simultaneously swung it in the direction of his opponent. A crackling noise filled the arena as the blade tore through the very space the two occupied as an invisible wave of force would soar toward the Jounin. As soon as the blade had been swung, Morio began to whistle, a force of gravity would spawn into existence in hopes of dealing with Arashi. For those spectating it was clear that the young shinobi would try to decide the flow of battle, not allowing any room for his opponent to try and react.
And it seemed that approach would be the right one. Even though the Prince of Hoshigakure attempted to deal with the incoming onslaught, it appeared he had miscalculated Morio's moves. This turn of events resulted in the young Ametsuchi gaining the upper hand in battle, giving his opponent a chance to yield lest he wanted to end up completely defeated for everyone to see. Going without a response, or at least one he didn't expect to receive, the swordsman launched another attack of his own, eventually leading to his opponent throwing in the towel and admitting defeat.
And with that another battle reached its conclusion, sending the victor through to the next round. Ashborn would slowly start to leave Arena 4, the fight he witnessed leaving the young Yamaguchi with a couple of things to think about. It was over soon, hardly making an everlasting impression, but at least he was able to learn something from it. Make the first move, decide the flow of battle, don't leave any room for your opponent. Cut off the head of the snake, so to speak. Ultimately, it was exactly that what allowed Morio to come out victorious.
With that in mind, Ashborn would check the schedule, wondering when and where the next fight would be and between who it would be, hoping to gain something out of it.
