What was this? The male had been in the archives of Suna learning more about the element he had just learned days prior thanks to the Kazekage, Guren. Mercury was such a spectacle to behold because of its many applications that could be given to him. He could meld the element into different forms and weapons...even armor if he wanted to. There had been no limit to his imagination on how it could work and yet....Surely there could be more he could learn from it. As he went through the many scrolls that he found on it, he felt his body succumb to the entity known as sleep. His head slumped onto the table in the depths of darkness and when he came to he had been on a beach of sorts. Rubbing his eyes he would think to himself if he had remembered any sort of beach topography in the Land of Wind. He knew the lands were ripe with sand, hence the name but there had been no beaches. Standing up from where he had currently been sitting, he would begin to look around. He could feel the wind and heat beating against his body which caused him to look down at his form. What he had been wearing before hand turned into a short jacket and a pair of swimming shorts and sandals. Interesting. Wherever he had landed changed his clothing but luckily everything else had remained the same.
In this situation the Shinkou would begin to walk around to gain a little more insight into where he had been currently. Signs adorned the beach and after looking at a few he came to a singular conclusion that he had been in a place known as Mikdazuchi Beach. Not a place he had ever seen on a map of Suna so he gathered he had been somewhere outside of the Land of Wind. For it to be an entire beach and his clothing suddenly changed maybe it had been a dimension of sorts? Either way he shrugged and figured he would enjoy the change of scenery for a moment. Tsuki-Onna had apparently enjoyed the change of scenery as he could feel her stirring within him, a way one would stir if they were happy. A soft chuckle would escape his lips as he continued to walk around. He could feel the stares of certain people against him probably due to the horns, but he had been used to something like this for far too long.
As he walked he stopped for a moment, his eyes slowly drawing to his right as he felt a tugging along the bottom of his jacket. Tiny hands had found their way around it as a small child looked up to him with sparkles in their eyes. For a moment both the Shinkou and his Yuumei were confused, bewildered even as to why a child would be disturbing them. Yet when the child spoke they both seemed to have lost their mild disgust as it was replaced with a willingness to help. Crouching down just a bit so that his glowing crimson eyes would meet with the child's, he would pat them on the head gently and shrug," You are a strange thing to ask a stranger for help making a sand castle but i suppose i cannot turn a blind eye to a child in need. Lead the way," what he didn't expect was the child taking his hand. A small, but brief twitch went up the males arm as he walked with the child. The action was weird for him because the last child who had held his hand was a family member who had perished during the attack of Konoha. Shaking the memory away he would walk over to where the young girl had started a rather shabby castle. A small chuckle escaped his lips as he walked around it and with shovel and pail in hand he would begin to dig. Looking over to the young girl he would motion her over and point to a spot," Go ahead and start digging there. You started off fine but you can never forget a solid base. Once you have that you can build almost anything."
The young girl smiled and nodded as she dug where Kushimaru had directed, catching on pretty quickly and moving around to continue. He would continue to watch her as he began to build the first official wall of the castle, though he could see her staring at his horns. Chuckling he would motion for her to come over and he would ask her," Are you curious about if they are real or not? If you want to touch them go ahead," and the giddiest giggle left her lips. She began to run her fingers over them gently, thinking she was hurting him which was kind of her. Finally she would ask if they were real and why did he have them. It was a quizzical question but one he could answer in layman's terms for her," I am a very special person among my family...It is something that I treasure very well. Plus they look cool don't they?." People always thought of Kushimaru as a hard ass which was not far from the truth. Yet when he dealt with children there was definitely a soft spot for them. The little girl nodded at the explanation and went back to building the castle, satisfied and happy with the explanation which was good for him. It seemed like time was going slow but the two were having fun building the now three tiered sand castle. With a little bit of water and more sand, her palace was slowly coming into something to behold. Standing up he would wipe the sweat from his brow and smile," It looks like your palace is ready. How do you like it?," the little girl would jump up and down in happiness before hugging the tall Shinkou's legs to thank him. A small sigh escaped his lips as he patted her head gently. It was satisfying helping her and it still showed he had some of his humanity left, at least that he could see. The little girl ran off to go find her parents to show them the castle she made, though before she did he would have her keep him as her little secret so that her parents didn't think she was conspiring with demons. She nodded and hugged him once more before running off to find them.
