Nova Tournament Recap!!!

The first round and match of the Tournament would begin with the fight between Madara Uchiha and Youta Shinkou a battle of Genin hoping to show what they have and prove their worth of becoming apart of the Nova Corps.

The match starts heavy with Madara throwing a Fuma Shuriken at her opponent with Youta’s response to dash low and forward activating both a Fuinjutsu and causing a purple field to appear around him. Madara dashed back launching some Kunai to try and gain ground and strike her low opponent. Youta would duck into a roll dodging the thrown Kunai and releasing one of his jutsus, seeing his opponent fall back Youta proceeded forward throwing a smoke bomb towards his opponent while launching a throw of his own with an explosive surprised attached. Madara attempt to side step and avoid the thrown weapon and tag caused her to collide with one of the trees nearby and stumble out of the arena’s area. Resulting in a Ring out as called by the Referee.

Declaring Youta Shinkou our first round Winner, winning who progresses to the next round against Yamato Senju!

The round began with an exchange of introductions and Tsunayoshi unleashing his chakra showcasing what looked to be large prying eyes of various sizes. Certainly a sight to behold and while it did seem to effect his opponent Zeo was able to pull himself together but seemingly making a fatal mistake while trying to exchange some words taking his eyes of his opponent. Tsunayoshi did not let this lapse and began to form headseals for his jutsus allowing him flight to which he shot into the sky without a sound and seemingly activating another technique hiding himself from sight. By the time Zeo had noticed his opponent’s disappearance Tsunayoshi was gone from his sight, thinking quickly Zeo moved and using a jutsu caused a cloud of Mist to form out around him but before it could go any further it seemed that Zeo had been ensnared in another jutsu set prior by Tsunayoshi. 

With the start of the fight, Youta began to exude a dark aura with Yamato activating his own aura forming into the shape of a Peacock, while forming handseals making a swamp start to form from him. The young genin seemed to attempt to move forward and activate a Fuin but was caught and being swallowed by the rapidly forming swamp, this caused Youta to surrender the match. While it was a fast fight, Youta had shown his abilities with the first victory of the tournament and with time we hope to see him back again for another attempt at joining the Nova Corps.

Morio comes out strong after the exchange of introductions activating a jutsu that seemed to catch Arashi in a field of some sort restricting his movement and actions though the Jounin seemed to have been able to escape that field and attempted to deflect a previously thrown kunai from Morio though this caused him to be ensnared into another field. Morio took this time to use his large sword he had brought with him to summon a large green ball of chakra and detonate it engulfing the trapped Arashi, with the detonation Morio came out dusted but unscathed while his opponent was knocked unconscious. 

 
 
With a long exchange of Music being blared by Contender Fu and plenty of what most people assumed were zingers and passionate talks on philosophical viewpoints the crowd was able to tell when the fighting actually stared with Fu summoning a semi-translucent cloak that enveloped her whole body while also showing a Display of Power just like Tsunayoshi had done in his own fight. Forming for that could see it a large demon head. Enishi didn’t seem to be phased by this display and even went ahead and activated the some technique as a large bird of the sky formed behind him. With this massive display of chakra ability, Fu begun to attack in earnest as she seemed to throw something at Enishi which later turned out to be a black rod of some sort.

Enishi dodged the flying object and retaliated with his own throwing of Kunais back at his opponent. Though Fu didn’t sit idle and while watching the kunai speeding towards her she unleashed a large force pushing the kunai back forcefully seeming to destroy any obstacles that got in its way. Reacting quickly Enishi activated his own techniques beginning the forming of a large swamp engulfing a large area though it would be rendered useless as Fu seemingly with great skill formed her own handseals to summon a large golem of a hundred arms riding on top of its head, one of the many heads fired a blast of wind at her opponent.

Enishi reacted in turn with summoning his own almost identical golem of a hundred arms and activate a seal of sorts seeming to weaken Fu’s golem, though Fu had similar plans and used a similar technique against Enishi’s. Fu then unleashed black flames that seemed to quickly engulf Enish’s golem who promptly abandoned the burning golem making it tackle his opponent’s causing massive destruction to the arena. Enishi activated a technique that boosted himself and gave him flight and engage in close quarters combat unsheathing a blade and launching a beam that seemed come from the weapon rushing towards Fu.

Fu didn’t seem to panic at the prospect of bringing the fight in tighter quarters and summoned what looked to be ten pure black floating orbs shooting some towards her opponent intending to defeat Enishi’s technique but was met with more aura’s then a Shaman the attacks were weakened just enough for Enishi to get in some hits cutting deep into Fu’s shoulder and putting her out of the fight.

 
 
With the start of the match Yamato was seen offering a match of blades instead of the more normal exchange of various techniques and once Tsunayoshi accepted the are both seen readying their blades with Yamato flaring a multi-colored aura, that the crowd had seen in his prior match against Youta Shinkou, Yamato launched a strike that looked like a shattered piece of glass towards Tsunayoshi who responded in kind to unleashing his own aura and returning the strike back to his opponent but changed into a strike that was of many blades.
 
Thinking quickly Yamato fly into the air hoping to escape the returned strike but Tsunayoshi was able to still control his attack and made it shift its direction in a complete ninety degree turn straight up from the ground to the unsuspecting Yamato. Caughting the Jounin off guard and wounding him from the attack and knocking him unconscious.
 

 
 
Beginning this match off with a bang Morio would take flight with a pair of freshly spawned silver wings seeming to try and weaken his opponent but Enishi was ready for it and using his own technique he unleased an aura of blue that seemed to boost his own abilities. Bringing into existence a large wall of hundreds of needles seeming to be made of acid and was sent at his Opponent who expertly changed his equipment in a flash of light and summoned a shield that deflected the seemingly endless onslaught of needles. Morio countered Enishi’s onslaught with his own of swords shooting them at the flying opponent. Enishi was forced to activate a seal bringing a shield of sorts around him and protecting himself against the swords, Enishi followed the seal with a summoning of a immense amount of trees to grow and surround the two contenders.
 
Morio had a plan for the trees and it involved destroying them and all those around him as he unleashed a massive ball of Chakra from his hand and caused a large explosion clearing the area around him. He also had swapped out his shield he had been using earlier with a sword making an aura of black and purple form from it. Enishi saw this and reacted in kind, activating some form of Sage Form and making an attack of his own. Morio reached in summoning more weapons and bringing the fight into its final moments as the clash between the two came out with Enishi on top.
