The Nova Exams

Traditionally seven elite ninjas make the Nova Corps of Hoshigakure, the Seven Swords that protect the realm of Haven and its people. The legendary Atarashi Hiyu retired from active duty, and the injuries that Yohei Kawashima had received during the Hoshimura rebellion in two more vacancies within the ranks of Nova Corps. Shina Uzumaki suggested that Ayato award white cloaks to the tourney champions, which would follow. The White Tourney is the name the archives historians gave the Nova Corps Tournament.

Everyone who registers to participate in these exams agrees to these terms:

-The character must be of at least C power rank.
-We allow 4 S-rank jutsu per character to even the playing field. That includes slotless techniques your character may have. 
-Teleportation out of the arena would result in the disqualification of the champion.
-A character can use everything else in their arsenal, including armors, legendary weapons, summons, familiars, debuffs, enhancers, pre-placed seals, and so on.
-Each champion has 72 hours to respond on a topic. If they fail to do so, they automatically lose the contest.
-The fight will stop, and the fighter will be pulled out of the contest if their HP hits 0 points. They will receive immediate medical attention from the Hoshi medic squad, led by Natsuki Hyuuga, preventing them from dying.
-Observation threads for the tournament will be made. However, attempts to plagiarize jutsu and skills of the competitors with methods such as Sharingan Copycat are strictly prohibited.




First place: Nova Corps promotion & 2x Mystery bags and 2 S-rank Augment Materials, 50,000 ryo
Second place: Nova Corps Promotion for 1x Mystery bag, 1 S-rank Augment Materia, 30,000 ryo
Third Place: 10,000 Ryo, S-rank Augment Material
Performance of the Competition decided by Akaboshi, the Second Nova Commander, will give a third white cloak and a 20,000 ryo bonus.



All Nova Candidates have precisely two weeks from today to sign up.

Reason for Joining the Tournament:Fu has been granted the opportunity of a fresh start by the Hogokage, Ayato Hyuuga, after being caught breaking one of the village's laws while visiting for the Chuunin exams as a representative of Konoha. Fu had traveled to Hoshigakure of her own accord after being abandoned by Konoha's Hokage, Wan Senju, after he had lead her to Sunagakure as a part of a great journey. Once in Hoshi, Fu was apprehended by Hoshi Nova, Akabayashi Terumi, along with Kirigakure Genin, Plant Boy. The two were brought to the Hogokage on charges of committing the crime of engaging in organ trade and receiving organ transplantations. Their illegal doctor was no other than the notorious Konoha native, Missining-Ninja, Stein, who is now deceased.

Their punishment for their crimes was to either accompany Hoshigakure on a mission to neutralize another missing shinobi, or to rot in a cell. Having missed the Chuunin exams and over flowing with emotions of rage towards Wan for abandoning her, Fu was eager to prove herself and she accepted the task, however, Plant boy would be bailed out before the mission could begin by his village. Following an exploration of Fu's will and learning that no one would be coming for her, Ayato granted Fu the opportunity to join Hoshi and become a Genin, which she accepted.

A time later, Hoshigakure was the target of yet another malicious attack. Fu took her side by the rest of the village defenders and successfully saved the village from impending destruction. During the battle, Fu had watched as her comrades and foes erected titans and engaged in a brief, yet spectacular battle. Following their successful defend, Fu was awarded the rank of Jounin for her courage and vowed to herself that she would train harder so that she could ascend into the ranks of Nova, alongside Akabayashi, and prove to herself, and her new village, what she was really made of.
