The Raiju Has Been Let Out of It's Cage

Finally.

At long last, after what has been almost a year of actually being a shinobi for Kumogakure, Hiroki felt as if he finally had the opportunity to get out of the village. Not on any actual mission of sorts, nor was there a specific goal or task that was put to him. Just mainly sightseeing, and while he was out and about, the Raiju would give the borders a thorough inspection to make sure there wasn't any prowlers just casually skulking about. If left unchecked, those kinds of people could lead to all sorts of trouble so it's for the best.

Upon reaching the village gate with his dire wolf familiar, Shichiro, the Chunin would walk over to the gate guard greeting them with "Good afternoon, just heading out to do a bit of sightseeing. Will be remaining within the country if that's necessary information, and here's my shinobi ID in case that's needed as well." The red and white haired youth would then pass over the card, and patiently wait to be able to leave the gates.

Since her promotion as a Chunin, Meika had been pushed to spend more time Gate guarding for Kumogakure. More power meant more responsibilities, and this was just the beginning.

The Kamigawa lass stood near the gates. Nanaki was perched up on the wall, his feathery form was barely noticable. But the slightly turn of his head as his predatory eyes zeroed onto the approaching man didn't go unnoticed by the raven haired woman. Her eyes followed the man as she recognized the shinobi as Hiroki. The fur beast at his flanks was new. Looks like the both of them had taken up a sort of companionship.

"The information will be noted, please make it easier on me and don't get into too much trouble. I don't feel like having to try hunt you down unless its necessary." Meika smirked as she teased him. Her eyes glanced over his shinobi ID although she really didn't need to have it. She was fairly aware of who he was and his rank. They did get promoted together in the matter of fact.

If there was nothing else to be said, Meika would let the man go on his way through the village gates.

[Granting Hiroki access to exit the village]

Low and behold, the gate guard had turned out to have been one of Hiroki’s closest friends within Kumo. Meika. Glancing to her right, there was the familiar little bird friend of hers, a rather magnificent looking raven. The two of them had shared the commonality of being more drawn to the macabre, much as the wolf and the Dragon Slayer share their interests within harmony. Specifically, life and death. One would think that they would be against odds with one another, but on the contrary it was quite the opposite. As the future Seventh Sage of the Seventh Scale, he needed only watch out for those who would fully resurrect the dead, or be some form of that, zombies, skeletons, ghosts, etc. The Kamigawa was merely more in tune to the spirits of the world; which was another key difference, but that’s for another time.

A small smirk would be offered to the kunoichi’s comment. His voice, being quick to respond with wit ”Oh you know me, can’t make any promises.” Roki would offer a friendly wink after making the statement. Once everything had been appeared to be in order, the Equilibrium release user would set his sights towards the mountains, and away he would go.
