Practice Before the Storm [Open]

Xena had slowly gotten up from her seat coming down from the fence as she noticed the two start to walk off, she had zoned out again, how embarrassing, what would happen if that happened in the field, she sighed taking her hands placing them in her pockets, as she walked over lightning seemed to strike in the boy she had been talking too, he asked for a name, something to address her, when she didn't even know his until very recently.

"Oh... It's Xena, I doubt you'd know me." She commented rubbing the back of her head, she didn't realize she had never introduced herself but it didn't seem to bother the boy.

Observing the Hyuuga as he took off his head band however it did give her a shiver, she couldn't entirely recognize the curse mark, but she didn't trust it one bit. Though she nodded in appreciation at the Hyuuga playing along with her little white lie.

Though now the oncoming storm picking up bothered her quite a bit, the storm was getting almost aggressive in the amount of rain it began releasing with that Xena made her way trudging through the wet terrain towards the main building, opening the door however there was surprise in no one being inside, the room itself was rather grand, what could be described a field mimicking a natural battle arena, tree's and rocks were placed among it with a outer ring for spectators around it, there was of course a private training area for training outside of the rain featuring everything you'd expect, target practice, Jutsu practice, as well as a Taijutsu dummy to train on. It was something to marvel at, she hadn't even seen it herself as she never had to go inside, it felt like it so rarely rained in this place.

Opening the door wider and leaning on it, she looked back towards the two boys waiting for them to head inside, it was common curtesy she figured, she hadn't a real intention to fight now that the Hyuuga member was around, he'd surely show Izuna all the things she had no clue of, no clue of yet at the very least, she had some hope for the future but for now the former generation is more important in her eyes.

"Well, come on in, fields right ahead if you two boy's wanna start swinging at each other." She joked of course, she trusted that they'd train effectively, they both seemed motivated to fight and learn. "As for a 2v1... sorry bud I'm a bit drained to do anything other then simple instruction."

Onabi stripped off his robe that went over his other clothes and started to ring it out. The water poured out of the cloth like Onabi had turned on a faucet with in the cloak itself. Onabi sat the cloak down on the ground to let it dry a little bit. Onabi looked at the two old students.

"well I do not know much, you all probably know more than i do. I cant do Genjutsu or ninjutsu to be honest with you all. But I can teach you tiajutsu and there is one that i could teach you but it uses lightning chakra. Do you know your chakra natures?"

Onabi turned to the eldest of the trio and gave them a wink, 'bit drained'? there was nothing there to drain to begin with but for some reason she wanted to hold up a reputation as an advanced shinobi even though she was going through the same courses the middle aged child was.
Onabi looks at the boy that was willing to spar with the young Hyuga, Onabi thought that maybe the user of the eight gates should just let him pick what he wanted to learn form the Chunnin

"well, maybe i can teach you the lightning uppercut but maybe somthing else? if you name something ill be able to do it. Or if i can help you in the Jutsu department I can help train you stamina? I can make you stronger or faster. I can help teach you chakra control as well."

Onabi looked at the female member of the demon clan giving a stuble look telling her that he can do the same for her as well.

Unlike his companions Izuna didn't seem bothered by the downpour, nor did he wring out his clothes after going inside. He felt a pang of regret for abandoning the stormy weather but was spurred on by the promise of knowledge and training.
"Xena Uchiha" he smiled at his clanswoman "has a nice ring to it, pleasure to meet you" she didn't seem to have taken offense at his blunder so he considered that a win.
After listening to Onabi's rundown his face clearly fell after the boy's admission to not knowing much ninjutsu. But giving himself whiplash for the second time this hour his attention was fully on the boy after he mentioned lightning chakra.
"Oh I know my chakra nature" he was excited before remembering his clanswoman. She had waved his nature off beforehand telling him it was no big deal that it wasn't fire. But he wasn't quite ready to believe she actually didn't care that it wasn't fire, too much bad experience from his clan to allow himself that comfort. He gave her a guilty glance before turning his attention back to the Hyuuga.
"My nature is Lightning, but I'll master fire and prove I'm a proper Uchiha." He didn't really feel the energy he tried to convey with the declaration. The Hyuuga had seized his interest by mentioning a Lightning technique, but Izuna was hesitant to jump on it as desperate as he was for knowledge on his nature. He didn't want to appear desperate.
"Speed and Chakra control sound useful" He had decided to feign interest in some of the other options presented.
"What jutsu can you teach though, your being a bit vague. A Lightning uppercut? That sounds so cool." He had lost his composure at the end of his feigned recap, it was obvious to anyone that he wanted to learn the Lightning jutsu.

Xena examined the two while waiting for them to enter, she was the first to the door after all, their aptitude to getting covered in water was certainly different, the Uchiha kid certainly seemed to be taking his Lightning Nature and rolling with it swimmingly, it was almost impressive, then the Hyuuga, like her they didn't enjoy being covered in water from head to toe, a understandable choice, it was around this time she noticed the Izuna again seem to push out a bit from himself as he didn't seem to wanna completely give up learning about fire chakra, she simply nodded a approving nod. "I'm sure you'll be a great Shinobi if you keep that kind of attitude."

Now that the two had entered the building she walked over to a wall leading up to the bleachers quickly hopping up it, she wasn't entirely sure what the two had plans for, but if they were too be training Ninjutsu it'd be best if she stayed out of it, they both had the same Chakra Nature, so they'd be able to share tips that applied only to them. She then commented when they began talking about what to train.

"Personally I always wanted to try the those super flashy Lightning style moves, they always seemed to be about speed and precision, two things I value." She commented mostly on the few kinds of Lightning Style Jutsu she's seen, which all fit that description aptly. "Perhaps you know some Onabi?" She asked with a somewhat uncertain smile. "Though I'd unfortunately only be able to watch..." The girl commented in a now annoyed tone.

Onabi watched as the eldest of the two academy students walked to the side of the training facility to rest her body and her mind a little while, and while she was resting she would watch the training that the two youngest would do. Onabi turned his gaze to the youngest Uchiha that seemed to be hiding his urge for knowledge, Onabi chuckled to him self he was tickled to see that this boy was like the other Uchiha that he knew.
The boy said that he wanted to learn speed and chakra control which were two things that Onabi was proud of. But the boy seemed to be most interested in the taijutsu that Onabi had revealed earlier. Onabi smiled and he grabbed a little bit of a larger rock and tossed it into the air.
The air around Onabi seemed to smell sweet and glow a whitish yellowish aura as when Onabi moved sparks of electricity started to drift from behind him.  His body moved and in an arrange of many strikes the rock that Onabi struck multiple times in a blink of an eye started to shake. Onabi planted his feet on the ground and he slammed the rock with an uppercut and the rock flies toward the ceiling and then explodes in a mass of lightning.
Onabi watches as the rubble of the rock fall down and Onabi moves in a fairly quick manner to grabbed every piece of shrapnel before it hit the ground. Onabi then drops the rubble of the rock at the youngest Uchiha's feet. Onabi looked at the Uchiha and smiled.

"Well I don't know if your ready to learn that one, so maybe we start with easy things like surface walking or we can run to improve your speed. you know what? we should spar before we do any training so that I can tell your potential."

Onabi pulled out a very shiny bell that was tied to a red string. he took the bell and tied it to one of hie belt loops. 

"Im not going to attack you but i want you to try and get this bell from me."

Onabi smiled and held his hands behind his back. started to walk away from the two people Onabi gained an interest in.

"I want both of you to try, Xena you can join your other family when you're 'felling more rested'."

Onabi grinned in a rather mischievous manner trying to bate her into the training exercise.

Izuna could only stare in bewildered wonder at the nine year old's display of skill and power, he didn't know such a thing was possible for genin, never mind another academy student. He was beginning to seriously doubt this guys alias. None the less he would be laser focused on whatever he had to teach him.
"That was a lightning attack? So I could combine my element with my taijutsu attacks?" the gears in his head visibly turning. The applications for his element he had never even considered now becoming apparent.
He was snapped out of his musings by the Hyuuga flat out dismissing his readiness for such techniques. He opened his mouth to protest the flat rejection before promptly shutting it again, the test the Hyuuga had proposed piqued his interest, and more importantly his sense of competition. Tempered with a healthy sense of caution, this boy had already displayed his skill was far beyond his own, and he didn't believe it ended at fancy taijutsu moves.

Izuna crouched into a ready stance, mimicking Shinobi he had seen practicing in the training grounds. His eyes narrowed dangerously, in a way that would give his Sharingan maximum purchase, Iris and Pupil clearly visible in the eye white. It was almost a natural stance his body did on its own. He was going to get that damn bell.
He launched himself at the Hyuuga, blue eyes flashing with pride and ambition. His stance was firm and fluid but lacked originality and any real technique. His movements were fast for a civilian or normal child. But lacking any chakra enhancements they were pathetically slow to any Shinobi. Blows that landed had no enhancements at all, so felt like any 11 year old's punch. Izuna had potential plenty but little substance at the moment.

Watching the Hyuuga clan member perform Taijutsu, it was certainly impressive, though nothing she hasn't seen before from her own clansman. Though the speed was hard to keep up with was the main problem, her eyes felt somewhat dizzy just watching, though she kept a straight face, until the bells came out, why does that feel like a reference she wasn't getting. He had said that he and the young uchiha was to spar, and she could understand why, the Hyuuga was in a whole other league, and now, as she watched her fellow clansman rush towards them, it was evident why, Izuna's moves compared to Onabis were on completely different levels, though what should she expect of a Hyuuga.

Watching it wasn't until she was looked at and goaded into joining that she smirked, pulling a kunai from her back pouch she shrugged. "Fine, as long as its not too much work I should be fine." Slowly she hopped down from the bleachers walking towards the Chuunin, the Kunai spinning on her finger before she made a hand sign. Ram causing two identical copies to form on either side, with little time to waste the two ran towards Omani as the real one stayed back, too describe the two clones they seemed to being used as bait, perhaps she figured they could fool him, each pulled out a kunai before throwing them, at Onabi, though only one Kunai was real, it was hopeful that the fact he was already mid fight could confused him. Regardless after that the two clones would vanish as Xena pulled a sword from behind her, a azure blade gleaming from the light in the room before she decided to rush in, her blade slashed at angles irregular in nature, though the blade itself was still dangerous, she wasn't the fastest with it, perhaps she had only recently obtained it. While she swung the blade with a single hand every stroke seemed to be towards the bells specifically, though she did seem to offer a few towards the leg in a attempt to remove proper movement from the chuunin, something she figured a proper strategy should she of ever gotten within arms reach however she'd quickly reach for the bell usually while mid fake out swing. Likely missing by a few inches only to kick herself back and rush back in for another attempt, she hadn't activated a Sharingan, which could be taken in many ways, perhaps she didn't see it worth while, perhaps she didn't want too, or perhaps she physically couldn't only she knew the true answer.

Onabi smiled at Izuna's ploy at trying to attack the Hyuuga but the pure speed the Hyuuga possessed far exceeds the Young Uchiha the bright blue eyes of this boy reminded Onabi of the ocean. the stormy sea that clashed against the cliffside's of land was one of Onabi favorite events that mother nature could produce, and Izuna's pure determination made Onabi proud that he was a shinobi within the hidden leaf village and that the current generation had the will of fire that the previous Hokage instilled within Onabi and the Uchiha that he considered family. Onabi would grab the shoulders of the young Uchiha as the Uchiha tried to throw a punch, The Hyuuga pivits and turns around slightly stepping away from the Uchiha but still pulling the young lightning element academy student with him. this would throw Izuna off his balance. Onabi had grabbed the extended arm that tried to throw a punch then planted the back of his waist into Izuna's hips. Onabi bends forward with a slight squat then lifted Izuna off of the ground then slammed him into the dirt knocking him prone and knocking the wind out of the boy, doing his absolute best to not damage the Uchiha.

Onabi looked at the elder Uchiha approach the actual training field and smiled. He watched as she pulled out a kunai and playfully spun it around. "Have you woken up from your nap yet? Look I'll even dodge you with my eyes closed." Onabi's pre orbital veins swells and his Hyuuga blood watches as two clones that he can identify as clones split off of the main Uchiha woman. Onabi didn't move at all as the clones moved through the field and faked an assault upon the young Hyuuga.
The sword swings the real Xena started to attack with would all be dodged with a series of swaying from side to side  and finally onabi stood on the tip of the blade itself. To Xena it would look like a 9 year old boy in a traditional kimono spider man sitting on the tip of her sword with his eyes still closed and giggling to himself. It seems like the boy was having fun with the two Uchiha. Onabi would draw his own blade and with his base speed of 150 he would disarm Xena and as her blade flew out of her hand and into Onabi's. Onabi flipped both swords to their blunt sides and held them in a 'X' formation that crossed the Uchiha's throat (Like how Anakin Skywalker hold the lightsabers to count Duku)

"Hmm, that wont do. You know what? Here. You can take this back." onabi planted Xenas blade into the ground next to her and he backed up with the silver bell still attached to Onabi's hip still jingling taunting the two Uchiha. Onabi puts his hand to his mouth and yawns trying to bait out more emotion from the two Uchiha. Onabi was trying to see the magic eyes that the Uchiha clan possesses that Onabi was told that was better than his own clans eyes.

She could see the veins burst from the mans eyes. "Tch show off." Was all she said until her sword was disarmed, well shit, what's worse is within seconds they were against her neck, she wanted to do something, perhaps fall backwards and kick up to disarm the kid, but she felt motionless for some reason, feeling like she had been there for almost a minute it wasn't until then that he dropped the blade backing up.

"And here I thought we weren't using Dojutsu." The girl commented picking up her sword, thinking to herself she slowly circled the Hyuuga, she had no plans to kill him he's a kid, hell he'd like kill her if she wasn't careful. Her off hand reaching behind her she calmly took a breath, entering a stance that could best be described as a fencers stance. Slowly moving forward, she made slow a deliberate thrusts with her swords tip at the kid, all of them directed towards the bell specifically, was she trying to destroy the bell or get the bell was anyone's guess, any of the blows would of likely destroyed the bells if they hit, suddenly she flipped the blade in a motion before spinning, sending a slash from the side towards the Hyuuga's left hip, she seemed to actually be holding back as even if he was better at Ninjutsu then her, a sword is a sword and if it actually connected wrong it could severely injure the Hyuuga. Though eventually she stopped, and providing she hadn't already been disarmed she put the blade back into its sheathe, once again pulling a Kunai from behind her, only... it came from off of the ground, it was already there, seems she attempted to maneuver the fight so she could pick up the Kunai she had thrown earlier.

Now she spun the Kunai on her finger before catching it in a backwards grip, calmly facing the Hyuuga member she simply smirked. "How about you shut off those eyes, it's hardly fair if the other isn't also using a Dojutsu is it?" She didn't entirely mind, this was all a learning experience for her, she slowly approached now walking directly towards him, before suddenly now much closer throwing the Kunai directly towards those bells, a very quick movement in a attempt at a cheap win, but this was all just a game so a cheap win isn't a bad way to win.

Izuna was dead. The Hyuuga's basic taijutsu move had him contemplating his life choices on the floor, being a janitor sounded really good right about now... Whatever the case it seemed the other Uchiha and the Hyuuga had moved the fight away from him. Izuna pulled himself to a sitting position. His head hurt... So did his ribs, pretty much everything hurt.
The other two were engaged in a swordfight? He couldn't tell yet, he was waiting for his brain to see what his eyes were. Now the Hyuuga was levitating? What?

He got to his feet again. His body was recovering from the generous pummeling it took, but he was not quite his energetic self again. He moved closer to the fight, maybe the Hyuuga would be distracted?
"Oh they stopped" he mumbled to himself relieved. Rest was good and he would take the break greedily. They were speaking to one another but Izuna didn't really care about what they were saying. He was too busy gulping in oxygen and trying to get his mind back in the game. It wouldn't do for a Shinobi to be put down by one taijutsu hit.
He figured he had recovered enough when Xeno started approaching the Hyuuga again. Something about shutting his eyes off? Whatever. Izuna was in the game now. Before he had been a wild boar charging and thrashing at everything in his way, that hadn't worked. Now he would be a scorpion, letting his senior distract the target before he went in for the bell. He unsheathed a kunai and waited for Xeno to make a move.
Xeno started the fight again throwing a kunai straight for the bells, Izuna threw his straight at Onabi, blocking off one avenue to dodge from, he then moved back into hid crouched stance and pounced.
