Genin Exam [Xena]

Mission:

Zunair, the stoic instructor, sat calmly at the front of his classroom. His students arrayed in a tittering conglomerate in front of him. It was their last year, in fact, their last day here. Many of the students are eager to grow past this stage in life. More, though, were anxious over their ability to pass the test. As simple as it was, it marked the passage to Genin-hood. 

Taking a quick sip of his herbal tea, he then began the day. "Good morning, all! It's been a long time coming but finally it's the day to see if you have what it takes to become Genin." Zunair paused and watched the excitement and happiness course through the faces of the class. The happiness didn't come alone as some expressions were nervous and worrisome. He remembered he was in the same position as these students when he was their age, not even that long ago. 

Standing up from his desk, he grabbed his leathered notebook and stepped closer to the students. "I know some of you are nervous about it but do not fret, for I believe that each and every one of you are capable of passing, if not, you wouldn't be taking this exam." Zunair smiled trying to give some of the worried students some reassurance.

"Now, I'm going call you one by one, alphabetically, into the examination room where you will perform both the clone jutsu and the transformation technique. Good luck," Zunair said as he walked to the side door on the classroom. The students shouldn't have anything to worry about, they all passed their written exam from the day before, some with exceptionally high marks. In fact, he believed the written test is actually harder then jutsu portion.

"So, first up is Akari Akimichi," he said before entering the room followed by a brown haired, chubby short girl.

Over the next thirty minutes, Zunair watched and witness the success and failures of each one of his students. Some of them will go on and become great shinobi, but some of them will not make it. That is just the harsh reality of the world they live in. Tears were cried and cheers were celebrated. Now, he has one student left.

"Last but certainly not least, Xena Uchiha, are ready?" He called out to the lone female in the classroom. While waiting on her to come to the classroom, Zunair carefully looked at her report. Hailing from the prestigious Uchiha clan, she is one of the top students, especially in chakra control. This test will, most likely, be easy for her. When she enters the room, Zunair would speak. "Alright, Xena, you may begin whenever you are ready," he said with a comforting smile and silk tone.

Walking into the room, she was actually somewhat late, family issues were always a pain in the ass. Namely, her father was screaming her ears off to finally pass this time, he wasn't trying to be an asshole she knew he cared, but damn if she didn't wanna just smack him once or twice for it, not only had she not obtained her Sharingan at her age, she's still an academy student, she should be called the failed Uchiha if anything is what she thought as she walked into the room, she was easily taller than every other student that had come in, walking over to the place for Jutsu usage in the room she looked at the instructor with a sunken gaze. Every other Uchiha she's known passed this test on their first try, and here she is, trying again.

As she was signaled to start whenever she felt like it, she took a deep breath, place her hands together, her index and middle fingers on both hands rose into the Ram formation, as with silence a single double appeared, then another, both arriving in clouds of smoke, though both keeping the sunken look on the girls face. The 2 clones would then move their hands in a quick motion, a fist covered by an open palm, the Dog hand sign.

The first clone became a man, seeming to be in his 40s it was to note that he wore a traditional attire specific to the Uchiha, one you could consider to be of decently high rank, their eyes a Three Tomoe Sharingan, though it was only in appearance, the clone couldn't see any better, nor could it do anything with the fake. As that could be processed, the second clone transformed in a cloud of smoke, making that of an older woman, possibly in her 30s their eyes a coal-black as with their hair, they wore an outfit you'd attribute to a housewife, one who rarely left the house. The significance of these two would likely be obvious in appearance to Xena, her Father and Mother, in other words. Though, the transformations rather quickly faded, as did the clones. She wasn't entirely sure if she was meant to keep them up for a period of time or if they were simply meant to be shown and demonstrated, all in all this happened over the span of 10 seconds.

"Excellent work, Xena," Zunair said with a warm smile as he wrote down a few notes before taking a stamp that was dipped into red ink that said graduated and the Leaf Village emblem and stamping it onto her report. He figured she would pass, but unlike everyone before her, they used the transformation on themselves instead of having the clones do it. Just goes to show how her chakra control is far beyond her peers. Well, of course she has outstanding chakra control, her report said that she was a genjutsu specialist. Uchiha's and their genjutsu, how terrifying.

"Congratulations, you've passed and now you are full-fledged Genin," Zunair said taking one of the several headbands from behind him that was sitting on a shelf and then tossing it over to Xena. This was the best part of this job, seeing those starting out on a journey he knows quite well, succeeding. But it's also the worst, when those who fail, remain at the academy until they can complete the curriculum.

"Good luck with all your future endeavors, and now that you're a shinobi, I'm sure our paths will cross again, most likely mission based." Zunair gave a slight chuckle, "I'm sure you anxious to get out of here and go tell the news to your family, so let's get outta here," he said, ushering her out of the examination room and classroom before locking it up. Once that was done, Zunair performed the correct hand signs and teleported to the hospital for his nightly shift.

Catching the headband with one hand she looked at it, it was surreal to catch it, but that was pretty much all she needed, seems her Chakra training had paid off. She was rather quickly shoved out of the class room however, so with shrug she just went off too go let her family know, they wont be proud since she should of gotten it ages ago but they should at least forgive her a bit for taking so long. As she walked out of the school she yawned, this would be the last time she came here she hoped, unless she decided to become a teacher.
