Kota smirked for a second when it came to listening to Asuka. For him understanding spatial relations came easily. Having an understanding of it made it simple for him to know where to shoot his arrows. He did not think he would be the only person able to spatially jump like that. It did inflate his ego a smidgen. Just a smidgen as he was a humble fellow.

The archer opened his mouth to try to come up with some suggestions. He was shocked and pleasantly surprised when some deer showed up. The hunter immediately started to feel hunger. He did not catch some venison for some time. The moment they started talking the archer hoped no one else noticed he was about to fire. Good thing he was not completely trigger happy. Offing one of Santa’s Deer would most likely get him thrown on the naughty list. Not that it would have hurt a lot. Kota was anything if efficient when it came to killing.

Kota would listen to them talk for a solid minute while he started thinking. After he thought he would pitch his final idea to the available people. “Okay, this will make things easier. If the three of us move fast with the help of the Reindeers techniques. It will make it easier for us to get the gifts to the house. For Asuka it may be better for him to stay with the presents and read off the list. By doing so he can save energy and use his big brain to direct us. That should be enough to allow us to get the job done. Far as reindeer distribution, if their words are to be believed. The only thing to recommend would be Comet going with Asuka, the bag, and the others. Musu, Strange dude, and I can just ride on one each.” Kota believed the plan sounded very rational.

Picking a reindeer to board. Kota chose Dasher. A fellow speed demon would be a great way to go around. Del flew over and in his hood. The bird was going to rest there for now. It was warm and she would not get lost from Kota in that way. 

By storm, fire, wind, or whatever they did to get the gifts to their destination. Kota was happy to have it done. His exhausted body went to the place he was staying when it all ended. Making sure to give the rest of the team and even the reindeer a good see ya later.

The situation appeared in Musu's eyes as quite ivigorating, the chakra that came from Dancer and the other reindeer was strong but pleasant, and everything once again appeared to have worked out. Not really paying attention to Katsuragi, Kota, or Asuka, Musu would pay direct attention towards Dancer, the animal that took it upon himself to speak up to Musu about what was going on. Looking at the animal reminded the jounin or the sands about his past. These beasts were obviously not the same animals that Musu and his father hunted in the forests near the land of wind but they definitely were very similar.

Collecting himself, Musu would reply to Dancer, and in an attempt to connect with the summon, he would try to keep with the same tone and diction.

"Thank you, eh?" Musu would say in response. Dancer would look towards Musu inquisitively as he stepped forward. Musu could see that Dancer was carrying seal tags on him along with a large sack of scrolls.

"Now whatch think yous doing, eh? Looksie here don't be tryin to mock me. I got more than just horns, eh?" Dancer would say in a stern tone.

"Is been told yous know how to use da seals, eh." Use them to summon the gifts, and I'll get ya there, gots it?" as the reindeer would bow his head to allow Musu to jump on.

"Thank you.... and Sorry Dancer. I'll see you three after the mission is done." Musu would reply, nodding to each of his three mission partners.

For the next several hours, Musu and Dancer would teleport around the ninja world, dropping off gifts and goodies to deserving ninja, and using the seal tags to summon the items from the barn in the winter wonderland to the right location. There were many times that Musu wondered why he was even chosen to be part of this mission, considering that the reindeer seemed to be able to do it themselves. Regardless, Musu was happy to help, and once his stack of seal stacks were done the two would return to the barn, exhausted.

Dancer would de summon himself as soon as the job was complete without a word. Tired, The uzumaki would return to the inn, waiting for what's next in this village.

Observing the tesm of reindeer was quite amusing, each having there owm personalities and such reminded of his brief "happy“ moments in the orphanage he grew up in. Kids talk shit to each other without a care in the world, fighting and hustling for the best bunks. Nonsense at the time, but such few good memories remained all the more precious to him. ”Yall mofos crazy, but I like it. Yo, Comet! Let‘s ride, I choose you!“

Comet glares over at Katsuragi, nodding just before he walked over to him, he seemed a bit hesitant at first but eventually got over it. Katsuragi gathered all his supplies he needed for the journey. The rest of the team seemed to have picked out their own, so all that was left for Katsuragi to do is get a move on.

Katsuragi is now seen sitting on top of comet. He was a sturdy deer, built tough to carry overbearing loads of cargo. But the MadKat had to put that to the test, he too was a man who respected strength above anything else. With a gesture, Katsuragi took off with Comet, they blast out of the barn and into the sky. The duo were surprisingly still in one piece. After cresting a whole in the roof one would thing a few broken bones and brusies would be the minimum toll. “HOLY SHIT!!!!!!”, Katsuragi yelled.

“Hope you werent all talk my boy! Nothing gonna slow us down! We got shit to deliver!”, comet yells while ascending.

Later on, Katsuragi is seen sitting on top of a rooftop, smoking a preroll from his very own collection. Comet, weary of the smoke around him, stuck aroybd after the job to chat with Katsuragi. The two seemed to be quite cool with each other. Perhaps in the future their paths would meet again. After his smoke session, Katsuragi leaves the house and collects his reward.

Too much was happening too quickly, and Asuka’s face only grew more incredulous as reindeer finally appeared before them. Apparently, they’d come to help them deliver the presents. Asuka listened as Kota took charge, delegating Asuka himself to be the one directing them. The young man acquiesced with a short nod, not willing to fight Kota on the subject as the others chose their reindeer. Instead, he took up his position at the sack, ready to hand off presents to be delivered and give addresses as needed. As the night stretched on, each pairing of shinobi and reindeer diminished the pile of presents quite considerably. Kota had been the first to start, and had a head start on deliveries, but the other two ended up doing their parts just as well. The reindeer were speedy, seeming almost like they could do it on their own, but Asuka could hardly complain. It saved them all a lot of trouble, and Kota a lot of chakra that he would’ve otherwise expended.

Asuka did his best at his own job too, making sure to check off the names of each delivery made as they were made, keeping meticulous track of everything. He may not really be doing any of the physical work, but that didn’t mean he shouldn’t take his job seriously. In the end, though, he knew Kota had given him the easiest job. He was so weak compared to his groupmates it was almost laughable. Really, he needed to pick up on his training, or else how would he ever keep up with everyone else? Right now he was best for healing and that was about it. He couldn’t even deal with some of the more complex injuries, he was far from being a great medic.

Even as the others finished up and slowly began to return to the inn, Asuka began questioning himself. Why had he allowed himself to stagnate? He would improve, if he ever truly wanted to do anything in this world. He was polite in his goodbyes to team and reindeer both, though he’d hardly interacted with either. This mission had opened his eyes to just how far behind he was, in a sense. He would do better in the future.
