The 3 of cups from lady luck

Rin had been bitten by the gambling bug so to speak, she had in the eyes of many people won big multiple times, but to someone who had the entire wealth of a village combined with the squirreled away treasures that she had acquired left such victories feeling rather hollow. That wasn't to say that she didn't enjoy them, nor to say that they were not valuable rewards in and of themselves, but with such vast arrays of wealth at her disposal what she sought was not traditional wealth but things that could not be acquired with a simple leverage of wealth. To such an end she had turned all of those winnings back into the casino for only a fraction of their real value, valuing the slim chance at a valuable item over the wealth that she ascribed little value. it had reached the point now where she was scrounging up items the casino might accept for prices that far exceeded that of the items value. It was in many ways a true shame that the casino would not accept traditional ryo as a form of payment for they may very well have made a killing just from her in such a scenario. But that was to the benefit of the common folk who now had the opportunity to sell of the items they had which, whilst they could be exchanged for chips, could not be exchanged for enough chips to make a difference.

Of course simple purchases had left some people feeling it was against the spirit of the casino, and so she had arranged to set up a small table near one of the exchange halls, a set of 3 cups laid out with a glistening diamond in front of them, one of the largest from her collection. "Step up step up, everyone's a winner! Find the diamond, keep the diamond! Miss the diamond and take your pick from the lucky dip" she said waving to what looked to be a bucket filled with coins on the side of the table. "Don't have enough items to play the casino, trade them in here for your chance at this beauty" she said, allowing herself to get into character a little.
