But Singularity would have been put on cooldown as soon as Saturn escaped paralysis using Perfect Body. As soon as he saw Jun cast his first handseal 'Serpent' to form Nikko Shokei, Saturn pointed his arm at Jun causing a fiery dragon 15 meters in radius to spawn five meters from his own body, with its center aligned with the center between him and Jun, and then  have it move at his opponent at a speed and power of 210. This dragon would devour Nikko Shokei on its way, as well as Nikko Basuto, on the way to 'swallow' Jun and cause 210 damage unless he could get out of its way. It would travel a maximum range of 40 meters from its spawning point in a straight line, devouring all in its path. But he was not finished. As he pointed his arm, he also spun his axe just once - forming Seal of Confrontation - to cause two massive gates of Rashomon '"Salt' and 'Pepper!'" to erect from the ground at a speed of 110. One would be placed 16 meters to Jun's right, and the other 16 meters to his left. Each one would have a health of 130 and be 50 meters tall and 25 meters wide with a thickness of 5 meters, extending past the 16 meter mark in each case.

Just as Jun started doing the handseals for his Nikko Shokei technique, Saturn released a fiery dragon from the edge of the wind current surrounding him. Jun quickly finished doing the handseals for his technique and decided to release it in a single burst instead of keeping it active, dping right after it an additional 2 handseals, Tiger and Rat, activating his ninjutsu amplifier technique (D-Rank). At the very next moment, Jun’s Tengans would glow brightly before he would crouch and shoot a powerful Solar Chakra beam from his eyes, having 10m in width and Speed and Power of 220. Being superior in power than Saturn’s technique, the beam would ram through the dragon and would travel a maximum of 70m (and the beam would not hit KFC as Jun circulated around Saturn’s position earlier in the combat), and would heavily damage the Fortuneteller if he failed to react to it. The residual parts of the Dragon that perhaps wouldn’t be destroyed by Laser Eyes technique (as the Dragon is bigger) would pass way above Jun’s head and wouldn’t harm him.

On the other hand, while it is true that the Dragon did end up devouring Nikko Basuto technique on its way, it actually did not devoured Nikko Shokei, as the sunlight rim can only clash with chakra based techniques, and Saturn’s jutsu does physical damage only. The sunlight rims would expand without being interrupted until reaching their maximum range of 20m before fizzling in the air. Everyone inside the area of effect the jutsu, besides Jun, would be contamined and damaged by the sunlight radiation released by the rims, and would also go through a Stat Check with their Vigor stat, and if it was lower than this techniques’ power, they would be incapacitated and paralyzed due to the radiation’s side effects.

Being surrounded by two Rashomon gates and almost out of resources, Jun knew he had to gain some separation, being Saturn Weaponry specialist. After he shot the Solar Chakra beam and while Saturn was handling it (or not) it, he would start dashing backwards  while doing the following seals: Bird, Horse and Tiger. He would start exhaling smoke, which created a rough sphere of 10m around him at a speed of 115 (and having 115 in power) that followed the Shibasaki clansman around as he ran until being 40m away from Saturn, always very alert to any movement from his seasoned opponent.

Jun began his run to gain some distance after shooting his most powerful technique at Saturn, as he knew that his opponent most likely could handle his jutsu, as he was weakened by Saturn’s genjutsu. What he wasn’t expecting is what the Fortuneteller had up on his sleeve. By doing a simple swing with his Axe, felt by Jun’s Tengan infrared radar, he release a powerful Shockwave. This same radar-like trait of Jun's Doujutsu could sense the bikes parked there started flying away at abnormal speed at Saturn's opposite direction and the terrain itself would be torn by some kind of wave of destruction. Something big and devastating was coming quickly at the Sunbender and he knew that the only way to survive such a power would be by weakening it.

The handseals Tiger > Boar > Ram > Serpent, were quickly made by Jun with a single hand while he ran as fast as he could, and as he had no time, he simply outstretched his arms behind his back while leaning his body forwards (in the way they run in the Anime), shooting the Debuff Bolt (B-Rank) at a speed of 120 from his right hand. The invisible chakra bolt would make contact with the incoming quake release wave of destruction before it could touch Jun’s Omega Aura, instantly debuffing it for 30 in power, leaving it with 200 of power. The blast wave would be weaker than Omega Aura (210 in power) and thus Jun would be protected by the damage and the knock back effect of the jutsu.

Even not being harmed, he could feel the air around moving and the destruction caused by Saturn’s quake release technique as it passed by around the Shibasaki clansman much faster than he was, as the ground was cracked and everything in the area of effect of the jutsu was either obliterated of simply thrown very far away. “That is insane power…”. Jun was impressed by the level his fellow genin had reached. He was far behind Saturn current power and skills and this technique just demonstrated that.

But this only made the Shibasaki clansman more resolute and more determined than ever to become stronger than Saturn, stronger than anyone. And that very same pride is what prevented the Sunbender on giving up, even knowing that he was outmatched. As he reached a distance of 40m from Saturn, he would finally turn around again towards his friend.

-Well, that’s a quite powerful chicken, I must admit… but tell me, old friend… are you prepared to go all the way? Because believe me, I won’t back down… even that this means that I’ll be dead at the end of this – Jun had a grim smile on his face as he said those words. He was finally feeling that adrenaline, that rush he hoped he would get when facing a worthy opponent and that he so eagerly looked for and never found while on mission duty… and he could not wait to feel that rush again, inside the warmonger’s arena.

As he knew that he needed his most powerful technique if Saturn decided to continue his onslaught, Jun spent one Omega Counter, taking 20 damage and reducing Laser Eyes cooldown by 2 posts, as he waited to react to whatever Saturn had in mind.

Jun was pretty sure that Saturn would once again attack him after seeing his sadistic smile, but the Fortuneteller simply told Jun to “remember that feeling” and that he wanted the Sunbender to “awaken” when the stakes were truly high, before he deactivated all his techniques and simply turned around and walked away.

“Awaken?” Saturn’s voice kept echoing through Jun’s mind as he could only observe his fellow genin distancing himself from the now wrecked KFC Parking Lot. The young Shibasaki clansman also deactivated his techniques, and he could feel the side effects of fueling his Solar Chakra with his vital energy quite immediately as his body weakened as soon as the Omega Mode was deactivated and he felt on one of his knees, feeling exhausted.

“Remember the feeling… I don’t think I can ever forget it… I need more of it!”
