Settling into their time within Otogakure, Marabelle found herself wandering the village streets exploring the Market District. There was plenty to see in comparison to her home village in Bean Jam. The village was bustling with activity and Marabelle as per usual, stood out like a pink blob in a world of tans and earthly tones. It did not bother her in any way as her attire and general vibe she provided indicated exactly like her homeland of Bean Jam, sweet. However, in this state, she needed to get more supplies for herself, and expending some of her extra ryo allowed her to take up a mission or two for her ability to maintain a small residence here within the village. There was a lot to explore in the village hidden by sound to the non-native and as a non-resident from the Sunagakure exodus. With this in mind, it was about time for Marabelle to really set in to learn more about the unique aspects of weaponry and tools provided by the village. Wandering into a shinobi store, Marabelle greeted the attendant as she introduced herself undertaking the mission of learning more about the shinobi ware within the village.

There was a level of confusion as Marabelle explained to the shop attendant her situation and that she was granted permission, showing the seal of the Otokage as proof of her allowance to partake in missions of the village. With that issue sorted out, Marabelle underwent the explanation of the tools within the village and their benefits from one section to the next. It was a various assortment and nothing she was not used to as a Vagabond. The store itself being more localized and not something that just popped up along borders was a nice change of pace. From there, Marabelle sought to try some of the weaponry that was available for purchase grabbing some senbon and going to the small practice range within the shop. It was a measly 7 meters in length, as it ran the length of the shop's main floor and sell space. Holding onto them with some degree of skill already, Marabelle showcased her precision as she launched the senbon forward, striking the target with precision to put some weapon specialists to shame whereas, on the other hand, their spread on the target would indicate that other weapon specialists would also put her to shame. A dichotomy to the end with her would likely be the case and situation as she explored more of what the store had to offer.

It was not long before Marabelle's investigation of the store came to an end after exploring all the options and available sections including the armor. At this time she was unsure of the actual need or demand of the equipment in that section but she was aware that at some point she would likely need to and want to get that bought for protection. It likely would not be too far in the future when that purchase was to be made, unfortunately. While walking out of the weapon shop a stray dog wandered right up to Marabelle and caught her attention. It was a sudden but not a wild thing to consider with a newly founded village. Many a strays and pound pups would likely be here and there though this one took a liking to the Everbloom. Smiling at the poor pup, Marabelle quickly noticed an elderly gentleman stroll up to her.

"Thank you young girl, he's a rascally one. Our Adoption Center has been in disarray for some time now. If you would be so kind as to help escort him back it would be appreciated. He's too strong for these bag of bones and he seems to have taken a liking to you." He began explaining that they had set up a mission for a shinobi to help fix up the shelter but it likely would take some time before finally, someone would take it. Marabelle assured him that someone was bound to help and if not that she would in their stead. Upon arrival, it was clear that the shelter itself had seen better days and a lot of the structures were getting better treatment in its repairs than it. It was likely as a per-need basis for the village to build back up and this shelter was likely just here prior. With little funds and seeing the need being minimal, Marabelle felt the urge to help the old man. Knowing that there was a mission listed made it easy when she got back to the tower to report on the first mission being completed with the small certificate provided by the attendant.

From arrival at the shelter, it was straight to work helping border up some of the exits the animals made in the surrounding perimeter of the outside. It was a lot of general clean-up that was required and with all that she had done by this point, it was nothing extreme or wild to consider for herself. Cleaning was an easy task for the kunoichi as it was what she tended to do and work on when she was not busy at home. Helping a shelter be in better shape to help encourage the adoption of the animals was a reward in and of itself. The animals were kind and nice to her as she went about her business with the one pup following her as she went. As much as she would appreciate the companion upon the road should she return to it as quickly as she was planning to, it would not be a wild thing to consider. However, it was not her place to find a wandering home for such a pup. Giving the pup some play and love in between small repair tasks, Marabelle found herself falling in love with the boy. "I'll make sure to stop by regularly okay? That's the best I can do for you little one." She said finishing up her task and playing fetch with the dog for a while after before heading back to rest.
