Nature is about Freedom, not Forestry

Life can be full of fun and adventure if you know how to live it. If you spend time to be open to what is around you and to accept who you are within it, every day can be rewarding. This was not the case for Fushon today. As she headed down the main road towards the largest park in Konohagakure, she could almost feel her emotions starting to rise. "Leaves....why do people care so much about leaves?!" Her mother had tossed a black plastic bag at her and told her to go help with the sudden downpour of leaves that had littered the park overnight. No one could explain what could have happened, but it seemed almost as if the trees had simply dumped a majority of the weaker leaves onto the ground.
As Fushon turned the corner, she thought back on her fun from yesterday. She had gone out to enjoy some ice cream with Yuko. The strange dragon had never tasted something so sweet and even bragged that she could make it better. That was until she experienced her first brain freeze. The day had quickly turned into a race across the rooftops of the village and several visits to nearby friends and their families. After a few hours of fun and sharing stories, the sun had begun to set, and she decided to head home.
Fushon was shaken from her reverie as she came up to the small forest within the village. The trees grew up over the buildings and seemed to almost hold one another up. Some referred to it as the Great Canopy of Konaha, like it was some revered ancestor. With a sigh, she walked onto the main path leading into the park and noticed just how thick the leaf coverage was over the ground. It was like wading in a shallow pool of nothing but foliage. Her first thought was to burn the leaves but hesitated as the last time she tried that she almost singed her eyebrows off. She questioned if she could just destroy them all with the force of her punches.
A few attempts showed her the futility of her efforts as the leaves flew in all different directions with each strike. As she looked over the leaves, it felt like she was forgetting something. Something in the back of her mind kept trying to get her attention, but it was alluding her whenever she tried to focus on it. Taking a familiar stance, she formed four hand seals, and a pair of clones identical to her appeared. The three began gathering leaves quickly and stuffing them together into one giant pile. This took her almost two hours and ended with the three of her rapidly digging a pit to dump the leaves into.
As they were finishing, one of the clones gestured for the other two to come to investigate something. An odd outline of a person's body was visible below one of the largest trees. As Fushon and her clones looked at it, the realization dawned on all three simultaneously. Their minds flashed back to the night before when Fushon realized that she was already late on her way home. She decided to try a few riskier maneuvers to launch herself forward, outpacing even Yuki. As she did, her foot slipped, catapulting her into the air. She was launched full speed into the very tree she stood next to, causing it to knock loose the very leaves she was cleaning up.
The three quickly swept away any evidence of the imprint and quickly stomped the leaves down into the pit. Hastily, Fushon lit the pile on fire with a quick fireball and then took off toward the exit. As she crossed the threshold of the park, another thought was trying to get her attention from the outer reaches of her memories. She thought back on it, but the only thing she could remember was that small creatures can be very angry...
