Nemui remained on standby, listening to Izu's questioning so that he might learn how to be an effective gate guard. There wasn't much else for him to do, so while observing Nenra he would walk counter-clockwise around the man until he was at a ninety-degree angle from Izu's position, on the man's left side and to her right. He'd also close the distance even further, standing two meters away from the man unless he moved away in turn. Then staying in this position, Nemui would now be able to carefully watch the man while still having Izu in his peripheral vision encase she gave any signals. The boy believed this situation was unlikely to escalate any further, although shortly after moving to his new position when the man refused to answer Izu's question, he wasn't sure that would remain the case anymore. Immediately after the man explained that he wasn't hiding his past for nefarious purposes Nemui would interject.
"We're not going to judge you for anything about your past unless it poses a danger to Kirigakure and its citizens, please explain what it is you're hiding." The boy's tone was soft and sympathetic, hoping he might encourage Nenra to share whatever he was so afraid of saying.

The man refused to answer the question asked while getting interrogated. As he explained how he tought this was a private matter and didnt want to reply, Izu gaze was left unbothered, as cold and frowning as before, looking and keeping her sight on him at all time. This was suspicious to say the least, and his explanations as to how it wasnt related to the village and explaining, trying to convince both gate guards that he wasnt someone who they should worry about was exactly the type of things that people with something to hide would say when cornered. Nemui had the right reflex, repositionning himself to the side should the situation escalate, even if that should be something to avoid as much as possible.
The young collegue of the blonde hyuuga had the right idea too, asking again for the man to reveal the secret he was so dearly hidding away. He asked in a soft and sympathetic way, trying to get the man to open in a kind way. Altough the effort was kind hearted, it was misplaced. The man had not answered a question when asked by gate guards, and this was uncooperative behavior. As Izu looked down on the red haired man, she had to say her piece too, as Nemui good intentions were there, but werent assertive enough. But this wasnt the first signal of uncooperative behavior from this man, so Izu would need to do a show of force to make him understand the seriousness of the crossing into the village of Kirigakure.
As she nodded to Nemui slightly with her chin, signalling him to stay at the ready, Izu flicked her right wrist in a swift motion, sending her whole right arm toward her side, before swinging it again toward herself. As the momentum of the motion unfurled at a rapid rate of 150 speed, a ellongated spiked chain unwinded from under the ample and large sleeve of the jacket Izu wore, getting longer and longer and in the direction of the red haired wanderer. As Izu directed the serated chain stemming from her hidden chain gauntlet under her sleeves, she made it wrap around the torso of the man, constricting and chaining him with his arms stuck to his torso, restraining his movement, and with the spikes of the chain pressing against his skin. Should he try to move, the chain would only constrict harder and cut into his skin, and should Izu want to, she could snag on the serated chain to chop and lacerate deep into him. As she binded him like that, Izu looked into his direction and pulled on the chain, making her get closer, the chain rewinding into the mechanism.
''This isnt a suggestion. Keep acting in an uncooperating way and you'll discover Pelican Island. Now answer the question. Why did your caravan found itself on the loosing side, and you survived still? I want details.'' said in a menacing tone the kirigakure hyuuga. In truth, she mostly wanted to scare him more than to hurt him, but he didnt have to know this.
