Re: We are born of the blood

As the first light of dawn streaked across the sky, Akira was already deep in the midst of his rigorous training routine at the village's training center. With his signature button-up shirt, sleeves rolled up to reveal lean, powerful arms, and tight-fitting dress pants that allowed ofr afulll range of movement, he moved with a grace and intesnity that belied the early hour. The sky took on a crimson like red hue that caused his stomach to church, a desire burned within him.
Each swing of his large blade cut through the air with precision, a physical manifestation of his relentless puruit of strength and mastery. The blade, acting as an extenion of his own will, moved in harmony with his body, slicing through targets and leaving trails of displaced air in his wake. His focus was inpenetrable, and his each step was an attempt to emulate that of the Raikage, who moves with such assurance, it was something to be inspired by. The pain and the strain on his muscles were welcomed, the pain was simply an added bonus to the training that he continued.
Inspired by recent reflections on his day with Asuka, and perhaps a burgeoning sense of responsibliity towards the village that he lived, Akira decided to extend his influence beyond the solitary confines of hte training ground. Cleaning his blade and tucking it away, he adjusted his attire to ensure he was presentable, yet still practical. Making his way to the local shinobi academy he entered the bustling environemnt with a quiet and commanding presence. His aim was to offer his time to aid the academy in any way that he could.
As he stepped through the gates of the academy, his emeral green eyes scanned the eager faces of the young shinobi, seeing in them the future of Kumogakure. He figured that it wouldn't be too bad to help these young ones, maybe to even help in a way he was never provided. He walked up to the front desk of the academy and introduced himself. "Hello, darling. My name is Akira and I am here to help," he looked around, "All of this. What can I do?" The woman behind the counter didn't really acknowledge his existence. She pointed towards a door behind them that read "Scroll Room". She then spoke, "You can go into that room and start sorting scrolls. Thank you." Her voice simply cut right through his existence, but he shrugged it off.
He entered into the scroll room and he began to go through the towers of boxes that each held dozens of scrolls within. There were mock mission reports. Different essays about shinobi studies. Nothing that was all that important. At first, he looked at the massive piles of books and scrolls and he was daunted. He didn't have Asuka here to help him with this kind of task and by himself he was quite underprepared. He rolled up his sleeves even more, and he began to dive in to the different boxes of scrolls.
As he continued sorting, he was realizing that he had no idea what he was doing. He put scrolls in places that it looked like they belonged, he gathered others and put them in boxes to put them together, thinking that maybe it worked. All in all he wasn't entirely sure that he did any help at all, but at least the attempt was there. After a few hours had passed, he escaped the scroll room with his sanity intact, he bowed to the women at the front desk and left the building.

He left the academy, feeling like he had just escaped death. "How on Earth does that woman partake in sooo much paper! Bleh." He wiped off his sleeves. He departed from the bustling school and he felt a sense of disgust as he could smell the dust motes on his clothes and skin. As he walked, his long red hair, usually a striking cascade of color against his pale complexion, was tied back neatly while he was working, but he decided that it was the perfect time to let it down.
As he was pulling the tie out of his hair, a couple approached him with a happy demeanor. At first he was startled, as they just continued to walk towards him. He would gather himself and simply nod his head, hoping they weren't trying to come and talk to him. His worry became reality when they waved at him and began to call out to him. He tried looking away, but they continued to call for him. He stopped for a moment and turned his head to face them, then he looked around, and confirmed that they were talking to him. "H-Hello? What can I do for you?" He would ask with trepidation lingering through his words.
The couple explains that they had seen that he was someone working within the school, so they asked that they would watch over the children of their daycare for a few hours while they go to a graduation at the academy. Horror filled his eyes at the mere thought of helping this couple with little... spawn. "Oh... Umm. Yeah about that. I don't think I can..." His mind drifted off to Asuka. She would want him to do such a thing. She would do such a thing, he knew that for sure. He would growl to himself. He then spoke up to them, "Oh of course!" He would bow to them. I would love to."
The couple would walk away and he would start slowly walking towards the interior of the building behind the couple. He got to the front door, and he could already hear the screaming. "Ugh." He took a step inside and he felt an odd sensation building within his skull, but he did his best to ignore it at first. Steeling himself for a challenge of a different sort, he stepped into the room with the children and the cacophony of children's screams and laughter assaulted his ears, a stark contrst to the disciplined silence he preferred.
The sight that greeted him was one of utter chaos: toys strewn across the floor, children running wild, and an atmosphere thick with the unpredictable energy of youth. He stood frozen at the sight, unsure of what to do with himself.
The first test of his patience came in the form of a small, energetic child who, upon noticing Akira's long, red hair was the perfect enemy to attack with a toy kunai knife. He launched a playful assault, aiming for the "giant red monster" with the kind of enthusiasm reserved for epic battles. Akira began bobbing and weaving, trying to dodge the toys that were coming in his direction, building the encounter into a dance of sorts. The children's laughter, pure and infection, soon had Akira inadvertently smiling, a rare occurence, especially around such specimens.
As the hours passed, Akira found himself drawn into various games, from building forts, to excercises by throwing children into the air and catching them once again. Swinging them around and doing all matters of different activities with the children. After a while, they were all exhausted, and the children had fallen asleep.
When the couple had returned, they found the daycarein a state of surprising calm. Akira, surrounded by the sleeping children now sleeping, looked up with a sense of accomplishment. The couple was overjoyed and thanked him for his time and gave him a bit of a tip for his time helping with the children. He accepted, bowed, and left.

As noon approached, the streets of Kumogakure hummed with a different kind of energy, signaling a transition from the morning's activities to the more leisurely pace of the afternoon. Word had spread of a brunch being hosted in one of the village's more esteemed establishments, an event that promised a delightful assortment of dishes and a gathering of notable villagers. Akira, having just navigated the unexpected challenges of childcare, found himself intrigued by the prospect of a more adult-oriented social setting. His recent foray into the more tender aspects of life had left him in a reflective mood, perhaps more open to communal experiences than usual.
A waiter, someone that Akira had worked with alongside the Drunken Kage bar the night he was with Asuka, recognized him. He waved him down and offered him a spot on the wait staff, and that he would be paid. He thought about it for a moment and he decided that it would be nice to be able to commune with some more wealthy members of the villagers, thinking of his true profession and the clients that he could obtain through this venture. Surprised but not entirely opposed to the idea, Akira agreed, seeing it as another opportunity to engage with his community in a manner far removed from his usual endeavors.
As he began circulating among the guests, tray in hand, his appearance — the tall, striking figure with long red hair, now in a more formal attire suitable for the occasion — drew many an admiring glance. His calm demeanor and the grace he navigated the crowd spoke of his shinobi training, even in the mundane task of serving food.
During this dance of service and sociability, he was approached by an individual who was already acquainted with the more clandestine aspect of his services. This recognition sparked a covert exchange, a subtle nod to the dual life Akira led. With each careful interaction, each discreet conversation as he moved from table to table, Akira weaved the art of silent offer into his service, his reputation as a male escort whispered like a shadow among those in the know.
His approach was always meticulous, ensuring privacy and discretion were upheld, leaving no trace of the conversation except in the minds of those involved. Akira collected a few names as the brunch progressed, each a new entry in his little black book.
As the event began to come to a close, Akira's participationg was met with gratitude from those involved. They said that they would look forward to his help on another event, a sentiment that he would reciprocate due to the fact that he may have made more money than the restaurant that day, if all of these names do turn out to be clients of his own. He thanked all of the wait staff and said that he would see them once again, to help with the next brunch.
He would then continue to head down the streets of the village, curious as to what else he would get into.

As Akira Namikaze made his graceful exit from the brunch, still processing the day's events and the new names added to his little black book, his path was intercepted by a woman with a keen eye and intentions clear in her gaze. Her approach was direct, her request laced with an allure that was both flattering and indicative of her interest. She sought his company under the guise of needing assistance in choosing shoes, but the undercurrent of her invitation suggested a desire for more than just his opinion on footwear.
Akira gave his devlish grin as he nodded. He knew exactly what the woman's intentions were, he could tell it in her own eyes. She was a rather tall woman, bronze skin, and extremely long, but tidy white hair with a curvaceous figure. The two began walking down the street towards the next shop. He would offer his arm to the woman, to which she would gladly accept. She was not much shorter than he was, being very tall for a woman. She looked to be around the same age as Akira himself. They had small talk and she would continue talking about his appearance, to which he would chuckle and comment on her appearance as well.
His mind would often drift over to Asuka. These conversations were so menial towards him. The talking of outward appearance, he just didn't find any use in that. Asuka would ask about his training and how he was speicifically, something he loved about her. He would notice that his mind would have drifted too far and they had reached the store. He would open the door for the woman, and she would walk in, staring at him the entire time. Suddenly that strange feeling in his eyes kicked up again. He staggered for a moment, and suddenly when he opened his eyes, he could see everyone's organs and blood circulatory systems again. He was mesmerized for a moment, as he felt... alive again.
He shook his head, and his vision was back to normal. He walked over to the woman and they began to look at shoes together. Inside the boutique, the woman tried on various shoes, each time seeking Akira's opinion with a look that lingered longer than necessary, her compliments on his stature and appearance woven seamlessly into their interaction. Akira, maintaining his calm and collected exterior, offered his insights with a mix of genuine helpfulness and detached professionalism, all while navigating the charged atmosphere with the finesse of someone accustomed to being the object of desire.
It wouldn't take long for the woman to find the pair that she would obtain. She thanked Akira for helping her pick them out, and she grabbed his little black book from his back pocket and wrote her name inside of it. She would tell him that she would be expecting him later that night, to which he would answer that he was working at the Drunken Kage bar. She said she'd be waiting up all night for him. He would smile and nod before turning his back and heading the opposite direction.

As night descended upon Kumogakure, casting its velvet shadows across the village, Akira prepared for his shift at "The Drunken Kage Bar," the very same bar where he had worked with Asuka before, a place in which he hoped he could trade secrets, whispered over its counters. Like many before, this night wasn't just about serving drinks, but it was an opportunity to weave his enigmatic presence into the fabric of the night. Attracting more than just casual conversation and thus expanding his favored clients instead.
Before he entered the bar room, he would go to the back and take a moment to ensure his appearance was meticulously crafted to be as alluring as possible. He released his long, red hair, allowing it to cascade freely down his back. The soft glow of indoor lighting lent a shimmer to his locks, highlighting the care and attention he devoted to maintaining the health of his hair and the rest of his body. His attire for the evening was equally deliberate: a form-fitting shirt with the top buttons casually undone to reveal just a hint of skin, paired with sleek pants that complemented his tall, slender frame. The overall effect was one of effortless allure, designed to captivate and intrigue the patrons within the bar.
He found himself the point of interest for several women, drawn not just to the allure of his appearance but to the intriguing aura of mystery that surrounded him. With his long red hair framing his features and a demeanor that balanced between attentive and enigmatic, he was an irresistible figure behind the bar. Conversations flowed as smoothly as the drinks he mixed, each interaction with an undercurrent of intrigue and the unspoken promise of secrets shared in confidence.
"What would we be doing, you and me, if I was interested in your services." One woman would ask. He would lean in and whisper delicately into her ear. The words he would speak would be unintelligible to those surrounding them, but the effect of his words was evident in the woman's reaction. Her fingers would curl as he gripped the counter's edge. He would finish his whispering with a slight kiss to her ear. She would then give Akira her information, which he would write down in his book of names.
As the night continued into its later hours, Akira's subtle charm and discreet manner allowed him to extract more names for his little black book gently. With each new entry, he would continue to expand his network of covert operations, his book growing thicker with the promise of encounters that extended beyond the confines of the bar. His ability to maintain his discretion, even as he navigated the apparent interest of his customers, ensured that his list of contacts deepened in value and trust. By the time morning came and ended his fishing activities, Akira would have successfully woven a few more threads into the complex tapestry of his nocturnal pursuits, each name a silent witness to the multifaceted life he led within the shadows of Kumogakure.

As he finished the time within the bar, he would find himself having that same pain in the back of his head. He wiped down the last table and put up the final barstool before he would walk out of the bar. He wasn't sure just what was going on with his body, he figured that his bloodline had skipped him as to how old he was. Other members of his clan would have already had awakened their dojutsu by this point in their lives, and then some. But there was no mistaking it. He had done something that night with Asuka. Something changed within him, causing him to awaken his eyes. It was the moment that he took care of that drunk bastard that yelled at Asuka, it changed him.
He rubbed his eyes and he walked over to Asuka's home, hoping that she was awake, hoping she could provide him some comfort during this time of transition. He knew that she was good for this kind of thing, to say the right thing at the right time. But when he was halfway to her home, he remembered that he was already supposed to meet with several clients that night. Not being one to disappoint, he begrudgingly turned around and changed his direction and headed towards their homes. Sometimes he did not enjoy his work, but he realized that it was the best way for him to make his money, so he would continue to do it.
He threw his overcoat over his shoulder and he soldiered the rest of the way towards the first client's home. He craved her attention, but for now, he would simply lavish the in the attention of others, others who begged for his.
