Resting at home

The Sharingan was an interesting power, one that had to be cultivated through the use of hard work, talent, and a mix of trauma as well to fully unlock the power of these eyes. Toran felt himself stuck in bed for the morning. No missions had been assigned to him, and there wasn’t much that he was truly planning on doing for the day. His sword, sheathed inside of it’s black scabbard, rested right above his bed on the oak wall. Toran’s eyes a bright red, his sharingan spinning with life as he tried to analyze or inspect anything within his room while they were active. The perception boost that he had acquired as a result of these advanced eyes allowed him to see things much slower, and much closer. The color of someone’s chakra for instance was something that constantly ate up his time. He had no real idea of what it meant to have a different color of chakra, some were bright blue, others were a dark shade of purple, some had sparks of gold within their own, and some simply had no color at all, most of them were that of civilians or those inside of the religious sector. But Toran could only see those colors as an indicator for something. The color of your chakra vexed him to no end, was it based on personality, or was it based on the amount of chakra? The idea rang in his head like a bell when he finally removed the blankets that covered his body, revealing the well-toned shape underneath. The use of taijutsu and weaponry had vastly increased his physical prowess. No longer was he focused solely on the use of ninjutsu. Now he could use taijutsu and weaponry to a decent degree. His arms were slim, but dexterous. Flexing his bicep allowed him to marvel at the changes that his body had gone through by digesting those few pills.

It was like he was a completely different person. He hadn’t even been with Typhon when he heard the news about his father dying. He wasn’t there for his friend, he hadn’t spoken to him in almost a year since the incident with one of their other teammates. Morio had ascended far past anyone’s expectations, leaving both himself and Typhon in the dust. All the while the assassination of Hotaru was still the biggest mystery that crammed into his brain. Why the assassination, who did it, was there an internal threat within that of Hoshigakure? The thoughts were etched into his every waking moment whenever he was walking around. The one singular goal of being able to potentially kill whoever did it. To finally get answers as to why Hotaru was dead. He turned inside his room, witnessing his Sharingan continue to inspect and analyze every single corner. The small flames of chakra moved outside of the apartment he was held up in. All the while Toran stood in his room, the thought of himself now falling behind becoming an ever-approaching phenomenon.
