Appearance: Like any other tattoo, the wearer decides its appearance. The tattoo temporarily disappears while using the shifting property, though it reverts to normal once used.

Backstory:  Upon experimenting with the infusion of ink and chakra, a seasoned Fuinjutsu user, alongside a master tattoo artist, perfected the art of creating Shifting Tattoos. The tattoo itself is just like any other, though it can alter one's appearance slightly for a short time. During festivals and holiday seasons, tattoo parlors will occasionally stock the shelves with this special ink though it usually it's given to the general populace.

Trait: Once this tattoo is placed on the user to their liking, they can shift their appearance for one topic. These alterations are limited to minor changes like hair length/color, eye color, and facial features. This also allows you to add/remove freckles, moles, or scaring. Features like height, weight, and overall body shape remain the same while shifting this way. To activate this tattoo, the wearer must initially spend 10 AP. To maintain the effect, the wearer must expend 5 AP per post. This shift has no duration and can be maintained if the wearer expends the 5 AP per post used. However, at the end of the topic, the shift reverts and the tattoo returns to normal. This is a one-use item. Chakra Vision and applicable Sensory techniques above A rank can discern the user's true appearance. The tattoo is applied like a normal tattoo and doesn't count as a seal on the user.
