Setting Out For Kirigakure
Sun Apr 15, 2012 1:49 am
Day 1:
Gorou Kurokawa woke up before the sun had risen. He picked up a bag and quickly filled it with food and necessities, then he walked out of his house. The sun was begining come out, it was the perfect time to start his journey to Kirigakure. Although he was unfamiliar with the land of water, he was excited to find out more about it and hopefully find the weapon he needed to complete "Hades," his newest addition to his puppet collection. Before he had set out on his journey, he snagged a few of his father's books. He figured he might as well learn a bit more about his father's findings in Puppetry ninjutsu. He also found a book about the history of the jutsu. As he walked out of the village gates he thought to himself, "Hmm, I've never really ever left Suna before." He wasn't sure what to expect, but he knew it would be a learning experience. He followed the path that, according to the map, lead to Kirigakure. He assumed it would be about 4 days of travel, plenty of time to read up on the history of Puppet mastery. Who knows maybe he'd even make some friends on the way, although he assumed that wouldn't be the case since he didn't get along with most people he met. *Time Goes By*
It was starting to get dark now and Gorou had grown tired from all that walking. He decided to set up camp and hit the books. He grabbed a Dark Red book out of his bag, it was entitled, Puppet Masters: Famous and Infamous Ninja. He read of the skilled Elder, Lady Chiyo, she was once a great leader of Sunakagure's Puppet Brigade, and that she was once the villages Poison and Puppet expert. Gorou kept on reading. He read about Kankuro, a legend with puppets in his prime and the leader of the Surprise Attack Division durning the 4th Great Shinobi War. All of the information that he soaked in was great, then he saw something that changed his perspective on Puppetry entirely. He had came across one of the Most infamous ninja known for this skill, Sasori of the Red Sand. He read about how Sasori used dead human bodies as puppets, making it so they could become weaponized once again. He was amazed that he was able to take down the Third Kazekage all by himself, then turned him into a human puppet as well! Gorou was fascinated with Sasori's ideas. He was astonished to find out that Sasori himself had in fact turned himself into a puppet. Gorou's how perspective on Puppetry had been changed, he wanted to attempt to make his own human puppet, and was determined to do so if he had ever found the chance. He wanted to read more but the night had grown quieter and darker. He knew he had to rest if he was gonna make it to Kirigakure. He closed the book and went to sleep. Day 2 would be arriving shortly and he needed to rest up.

Day 2:
Gorou woke up a little late this warm morning. He had been up most of the night reading, and studying the ways of the puppeteers. He got up and quickly got dressed, he needed to make up for lost time if he was gonna get that weapon. Gorou quickly packed up his things and set out on his journey once more. As he was walking he couldn't help but to think of what he read last night in that book. The thing about the Puppet Master, Sasori of the Red Sand. Something in the stories about him made Gorou's brain kick into a whole new level. He had never once thought of taking a dead body and transforming it into a puppet. It quickly brought inspiration to his mind. Of course Gorou enjoyed making his own puppets, but the thought of using an actually human body was incredible. If Gorou was fortunate enough to stumble upon a dead body than perhaps he could also do it. It would definitely open new doors for him, and could even progress him further in his adventures. Gorou felt himself grinning wickedly at the thought of becoming one of the most powerful Puppet-Nins, maybe he would even surpass Lord Sasori. Yes, this would be his new goal.
*Time Passes*
It was already dark again, and according to the map, Gorou was actually ahead of schedule. He would hopefully be in Kirigakure by this time tomorrow. He let out a sigh of relief, knowing that he was this close to possibly finishing "Hades," sent chills up his spine. He then leaned over and reached into his bag pulling out another book. It was almost like they were cursed and couldn't be put down. Before he knew it a few hours had passed. It was very late, so Gorou put the book back and went to sleep. Kirigakure was only about 12 hours away and he was determined to find that weapon.

Day 3: Arrival
Gorou had started his walk early that morning. He was getting closer to Kirigakure by the hour. According the the map he had about a 4 hour walk ahead of him. The journey had been a long one but hopefully the trip would have been with it. He thought to himself, "Hmm, I wonder who I'll ask about the location of the weapon. I suppose I could ask the Mizukage.. I really hope the weapons haven't gone missing, that would be a drag." As he was walking he grabbed a book out of his bag. He flipped it open and began to read it once more.
*Time Passes*
Gorou had finally arrived in what he assumed to be Kirigakure. It seemed to be war stricken, the buildings work ruined but they seemed to be in the middle of rebuilding. Now, he just needed to find the Mizukage's chambers. He looked for the biggest building in the village, assuming that it would be where he needed to go.
