Ganki vs nature (speed training)
Mon Jun 11, 2012 5:42 pm
Ganki taking a break from the dangerous life of a ninja today, he wanted to just sit and relax in the forest training grounds. Then something hit Ganki on the head, it was an acorn. Taking a glance up, Ganki sets his sights upon the top branch of the tree. He whips his head to the side, brushing his hair away from his eyes. He tilts his head to the right, noticing a wary squirrel eating the acorn. Ganki takes a simple step forwards to the squirrel, and it lifts his head up in alarm. The squirrel lets off a small squeak, scurrying to the trunk of the tree defensively with his acorn. Ganki slowly crouches down to hover his hand over the ground, searching for a loose rock. He grasps onto one and pulls it up with himself, flinging it at the squirrel with a chuckle. The squirrel doesn't seem amused as the rock knocks the acorn from its mouth, the squirrel starts up the tree trunk."Ahh, a challenge bestowed upon me... by a squirrel." Ganki thought as he proceeded to sprint to the tree. He peers down at his feet and sighs, "It's been a long time..." Ganki channels the chakra down into his feet and manages the steady flow so it maintains in his feet. A blue aura begins to appear on the bottom of Ganki's low shoes. Ganki raises up his thigh, bending his knee and then extending it so his sole is placed onto the trunk of the tree. He repeats this process with the other leg, standing even with the elevation of the tree. He takes a deep breath, glancing quickly to the squirrel's progress. The squirrel already made it up to about half the way while Ganki's only a third of the way there. He groans silently, as if trying to hide his shame from the squirrel.Ganki heightens his speed, traveling up the tree at a faster rate. He swings his arms backwards once, launching a gust of wind behind him, rocketing him forward about ten extra feet up the tree. He grabs onto a branch and swings on it, gaining momentum to finally jump higher up the tree. He plops his feet back down onto the hard wood and sets on again, darting his arms behind him and tilting his body forward for better speed. Thoroughly inhaling and exhaling through his nose, he turns his head back to the squirrel, smirking, seeing that he's far behind now.The final branch of the tree is up ahead in Ganki's view, he quickly flings himself onto it, standing upside down, panting. He darts his look to the squirrel still hurrying to the top of the tree, he chuckles. He crouches down upside and grabs a hold of the tree branch and holds himself up right, letting his legs hang as he pulls himself back onto the branch. Suddenly, he pounces, bouncing off the tree branch towards the other tree, stopping the squirrel in his path. "The winner of the race gets more than victory, More!."The squirrel cowers back as Ganki clenches his fist, making his way slowly towards the squirrel, who instantly turns and scurries back down the tree. "Hah, now... what to do.. what to do...?" Ganki shrugs, looking down to the ground. He bursts into another gallop down the tree, skipping over each of the minor branches. About twenty feet left between him and the ground, he strides off the trunk, the blue aura disappearing from his feet. The squirrel seems to taunt him from behind a tree, having found a new acorn to nibble on. "Oh hell naw!" Ganki begins to growl, getting louder as it continues. He rushes at the squirrel, fueled by rage he manages to catch up with it and grab a hold of its tail firmly. He tightens his grip, making the squirrel doesn’t get away, but at the same time making sure the squirrel is not hurt. The squirrel looks into ganki’s eyes and just stares at them, then Ganki kissed the squirrel on the head and then let it go. The animal then runs up the tree, Ganki said “ aww, he is so cute… what the hell am I saying.
