Once a barren wasteland, full of active Volcanos waiting to burst; the island without inhabitances began to calm down, the majority of the volcanos becoming inactive, allowing for their large mountainsides to be created. The main Volcano that remains lit and ever-present is the super volcano, laying off to the side of the newest of the major villages, Ketsuekigakure; placement allows for an eerie reddish glow through the night, the grand volcano giving off the energy and heat to warm and power the major village; becoming one of the main sources of power.
