Wind, Sea Water and Illusions (Private, Training)
Sat Jul 07, 2012 10:37 am
Lyria sat on a large stone near the ocean as she procrastinated her training. She watched the peaceful, dark blue ocean quietly. The wind was fast and it danced gracefully, bringing her blue hair to life as it played with the wind. She closed her lavender eyes and listened to the sounds of the ocean. She had always loved this place and she could not think of any other place that calmed her as much as the ocean. The sky was grey with clouds and Ly hoped that it wouldn't rain. It wasn't that she minded the rain, but she really needed to train and the rain would complicate her training.
The girl opened her eyes. It would be hard to practice her genjutsu if she didn't have someone to practice it on. She realized that this was probably one of the reasons why she should make friends. She sighed a bit and layed flat on her back. Lyria shivered as the cold of the rock went through her thin orange tank top. She was used to cold, so she wore black shorts to go with her tank top. The headband in her hair was also black and she had her forehead protector wrapped around her upper left arm. Ly laughed a tiny bit. "Why are they called forehead protectors when most ninjas I know wear them elsewhere...?" She mumbled to herself.
The kunoichi closed her eyes again and didn't care when sleep threatened her conciousness. She kept it at bay just in case someone attacked her. Lyria knew better than to fall asleep in the open. She knew of the dangers of the shinobi world.

The cold ocean, well cold to some while others were used to it similar to Meizo. He was deep underwater around the mid level between the ocean floor and the top. Meizo was swimming around as well as practicing multiple things. He gotten soft on his training and with the same old goal he had with catching up with his brother's skills he had to go harder on his training. His training today began with him swimming back and forth from the shore to the open seas to practice his strength against the tides as well as how fast he was doing it. Meizo was now coming back to shore for the first time as he started his training just 30 minutes ago. This training was a common thing that his dad had Meizo and his brother do in the morning. He said that since they were Hozuki and being water, they had the skills to survive the open tides in their human and stable form. Meizo would always get bashed around and thrown with the tides while his brother would be the perfect student and accomplish what was given to him. Now years have gone, Meizo's brother is off traveling, his father doesn't seem to care for Meizo so all he has to do is to open his father's eyes and beat his brother.
Meizo now swimming up and towards to the top to catch his breath, he popped out his head above the water to see a girl on a rock laying there. Saying nothing he decided to see if he could possible sneak around the girl, a small training test he put himself up to. He swam closer and closer, only the sound of the oceans could be heard and also cover Meizo's sounds. As he got closer and tapped the girl's foot before sinking in and staying underneath the waves.

Lyria sat up as soon as she had felt something touch her foot. She moved to her knees and leaned over the side of the rock, peering into the deep blue water. She knew that she might be paranoid and it could have just been a wave, but she still felt like it had been more than that.
The bluenette watched the ocean carefully, taking in every detail of the water. She whispered her bloodline's name, which had not yet become familiar yet. She had just been told about the Hyuuga clan about two months before, so her eyes were not yet fully able to be used as a master Hyuuga would use them. She could still detect chakra and hidden enemies, though. That was all that she needed. Lyria's eyes activated and she scanned the water again, searching for a hidden person beneath the waves. She wasn't surprised when she saw the boy.
Lyria stayed in her spot and strained to see if the boy was wearing a ninja headband or if he was just a civilian having fun. She hoped that he was a Kirigakure shinobi so that maybe he would help her train. Ly knew she had to stop procrastinating soon. In a way, the girl really didn't want to speak with the boy. She figured that he was her age, and she also knew what she was like around boys her age. There would be a lot of stuttering, that was for sure. Lyria sighed and waited to see if he would come up to the surface.
While she waited, she began to worry. What if he was an enemy? She hadn't yet mastered any of her genjutsu, since she had been training her Byakugan for the past two months and she had come up with the genjutsu during that time. She still had her basic ninjutsu, but nothing overly powerful. The only thing that had gotten her through the Chunnin exams was her natural talent in hand to hand combat. And even then, she barely even survived. Lyria paused. How had I even get my Chunnin rank? Surely I wasn't that good... She sighed. Just another mystery in her life. That was exactly what she didn't need.
