A Hyuga and an Uchiha (Spar, no kill)
Sun Jul 15, 2012 9:24 pm
Akina had walked a ways away from the forest of Konoha's borders. She sighed as the sun had begun to set, and the world seemed to be colder than normal. Small bits of sand occasionally fluttered past in the wind. The idea of seeing a new village was interesting, and yet scary to the girl. Grant it, she wouldn't have to worry unless she was away for a while. Akina looked at the long grass around her, and decided to lay down for a while. I came out here for a nice walk and some time to think for myself.
She thought of what had been going on recently. There was a lot to take in, and quite frankly, the girl was getting tired of every one in the village seeming to say there was something wrong with her. A sigh carried through the wind as the Hyuga closed her eyes for a moment, but she remembered to keep her wits about her in this open, crazy world. She sat up slightly and watched the sun continue setting with a slight smile. Maybe, just maybe, she would take something valuable away from this time alone, though something in the air just didn't feel right.

Mishu stood in the vast field of tall grass, almost a sea of waving green threads that waved and pushed as the wind blew past and pushed the sea's waves all around. Mishu stood, cloaked by her camouflaged cloak. Mishu concentrated on her surroundings and observed all aspects of the area. Including a new presence she hadn't noticed a minute ago. It was a small girl that sat in the grass, clearly not noticing Mishu's cloaked presence only seven feet away. Staying invisible, Mishu jumped into the air and flipped through hand seals quietly, building up a slippery and oily substance in her throat and enhancing it with chakra. She shot the oil out of her mouth, pursing her plump lips and causin it to only shoot a thin stream of oil barely visible for a minute or so before all of it was shot out stealthily and covered the grass below, turning the field within a twelve foot radius and the epicenter being the spot Mishu had been at before the jump. Mishu landed and resumed standing still, deactivating her cloak and slowly becoming visible as though she had just came into reality and existence.

Akina stood up quickly, as she thought she heard something
rustle in the grass. She began
completing the hand seals for the clone jutsu.
She concentrated carefully and watched as two clones of herself appeared
in a puff of smoke. She jumped away from
her spot and continued to back away, quickly and carefully, as she thought she
saw a stream of something appear from out of nowhere. She rolled through the grass, hoping that
none of that stuff was on her. She
watched as her clones were also running away from the area in which they were
formed. As Akina looked around, she saw
a young girl appear to her right and was behind her slightly. The girl turned quickly and faced the
girl. Her hair was black, and from her
stance, it seemed as though she was looking for a fight. It was probably this other girl who had
spewed the line of stuff at her, but the Hyuga girl was confused as to how she
could not see the girl before she just…appeared there.
Akina bowed formally to the girl, but her eyes were
determined and colder than normal. She
did not speak as she carefully took her stance with ease.

Mishu gave a nasty look towards the small girl, hoping to frighten her and seeing as two copies of her appeared and dashed off. As for Mishu, she simply stood still, closing her eyes and reopening them with the blood red color and pattern of the First Tomoe Sharingan. Mishu gave a fierce appearance as she flipped through six hand deals rapidly and converted chakra within into fire, taking a deep breath as she carefully tracked the slow movements of the girl before her. Mishu then pushed out with a huge exhalation, a flame appearing that was small and concentrated in front of her lips at first but then pointed towards the ground covered in oil that started with the oil covering about three feet ahead and the girl being five feet ahead. The flame erupted from Mishu's lips and roared forward, immediately rolling forward and burning the grass in front and lighting the oil, which quickly the oil flame nearly instantly spread rapidly and exploded in a roaring pool of flames. This concept showed that it only took such little effort to cause such high intensity destruction, and Mishu would smirk as she observed the small girl and tracked her every movement throughout the whole attack.

Akina acknowledged the girl with a half smirk. She knew it was a partially dangerous
movement, but it was one she was willing to take, since this girl seemed to be
worthy of such a grand acknowledgement.
The other girl quickly leapt up into the air, closing her eyes to reveal
blood red ones when she opened them. The
Hyuga girl had an instinct to run from them as quickly as she could, which was
not very quickly at all. Despite this,
Akina got the prickling sensation on her skin that the other girl was watching
her. When she turned her head to look
back, her mouth dropped in horror when she saw flame coming from the girl’s
mouth. Those cold red eyes would not
stop looking at her.
Stifling a shudder, the girl quickly averted her attention
back to running away from the flame that was now spreading across the field
like wildfire. It licked at her wildly
and hungrily. For once, the girl was
forced to think on the run. If she didn’t
do something soon, things would go badly, but she was in a fairly dry field and
there were no clouds in sight. Her feet
carried her to the right, away from the fire and into some shrubbery. As long as the fire didn’t threaten to change
its course, she might be safe for a few seconds. At least here, she could make a few hand
seals and might even be able to come up with a plan. She began making hand seals for a clone, and
she began to run up a lone tree that was in the field. She sent her clone out into the fray, rushing
away from the fire. As the real Akina hid
in the tree, she began to think of a way to bait the other girl into an
attack. If Akina could make her lose her
cool just a little, the Hyuga might be able to successfully land an attack or
two before the spar ended. It was quite
a bit of a risk, as she would rather fight her opponent head on. Not only that, but there was the smoke she
was going to have to contend with very soon.
If she had enough time, she might be able to use the smoke to her
advantage. The fires seemed to be dying
down a little, since there was no real wind to feed the flames, but the Hyuga
knew it wouldn’t stop her from using her fire again.
