Evens' sword's bandage fell off the sword and revealed a spot on the sword, the spot that hit the log after the white smoke disappeared. The gray bandage was pulled of manually by Evens and the sword and slashed through the log and teared the inner tree into fragments.
''Aha ... a substitution'' Evens said and sighed cause of the boringness of not fighting against the real him, though, Navi wouldn't know that Evens was the real and not a clone, but Evens wanted to see what would happen now.

He made some few hand seals and smoke appeared, 3 Evens' would be there now, with the real in the middle, the other two would then run against Liamoto from left/right.
The real would run in the middle and do a 3 person sword combo against Liamoto.
All 3 swords was covered with bandage, not to damage Liamoto.

Navi sat on top of a tree close by. If those attacks his Liamoto then he would be out of the fight for good. Evens's sword was bandaged, so it wouldn't kill him, but the impact would knock him out. Navi had learned how to spot a clone, it seemed that all of Evens's clones weren't real, it was a basic academy jutsu which gave the illusion of clones, not actual copies.

When the clones charged Liamoto, they would not have a shadow and they would not flatten the grass they walked on. They were a harmless distraction. In a few moments of observation Navi recognized the real Evens and targeted him from his concealed vantage point in the tree.

Navi took out both of his kunai, they were attached to his fingers by an unbreakable and impossible to cut ninja wire. Furthermore, the wire was almost impossible to see unless you were looking for it. The only way out of this technique was evasion, and Evens was occupied with Liamoto at the moment.

"Ninja Art: Manipulated Shuriken Technique" Navi whispered to himself. Navi threw both kunai at the charging Evens from his vantage point. One was thrown slightly left of him and one was thrown slightly right of him. To Evans, it would look like Navi had missed two throws. However, Navi began steering the kunai to lasso Evens as he sprinted towards Liamoto.

Evens was extremely fast, but Navi was almost just as quick. Even if Evens were to somehow spot his technique, Navi was certain he could bind at least a leg or an arm with his wires.

Evens would run forward, not noticing Navi and just rush forward, Swinging(s) against Liamoto. The real Evens' sword's bandage would fall off and He would pommel stroke Liamoto with bandage still on the pommel. Knocking him out, but just to be sure, scare him for life. Evens pushed him forward, not very far and the real Evens would the perform the Dragon's Dance with his sword, swinging, not hitting Liamoto, but striking in the air, cutting everything getting near of Evens if used in woods or in a jungle. Evens would be careful not to hit Liamoto and just swing his sword in a circular a few times, and then in hard rough squares.

The clones did that as well, but hitting for reals, but of course the hits would fly through Liamoto like air. Evens didn't know before seeing them landing in front of him. 2 kunais flying trhough the air, missing Evens. But Evens just finished his combo as a shield if other Kunais would come flying. Evens slashed in the air around him for a while after KO'ing Liamoto.

Navi could try to bind Evens now, but with him swinging the sword back and forth like that Navi risked catching the wires on the sword. If that happened then his technique would just disarm Evens, yanking the sword out of his grasp. As tempting as it would be, Evens could probably beat him in straight up taijutsu, so it was useless to not at least try and bind his body. Navi let the kunai hit the ground on either side of him, seemingly missed knife throws.

Liamoto was down, and Evens was too quick for Navi to have stopped it. This would be a duel between him and Evens. Navi waited patiently for Evens to stop swinging his sword in the air. He lay concealed in the tree, watching closely from his vantage point. As soon as Evens stopped swinging his sword around, he would attempt to lasso him with the wire.

Evens quckly noticed the angle of the kunais. He still kept swinging his sword back and forth while turning around. The clones disappeared and Evens looked at the directions of the kunais. He swung his sword around while moving to make a sword shield, and he felt that he slashed something thin in the air 2 times. He didn't knew what it was, but it could maybe be string.

He stopped swinging his sword and dug it down in the ground, preparing for an attack now. Maybe some few more tools or a straight attack?
''Stop playing hide and seek Navi!'' he yelled of boredness, their taijutsu wasn't the best, teamwork maybe, but not that much.

Evens gave him a little trouble when he tangled his wire up, but after a little more manipulating he was able to get it free. Eventually Evens stopped slashing and dug his sword deep into the ground, giving Navi just the opening he needed.

"STOP PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK NAVI!" Evens yelled in a bored voice.

"As you wish" Navi whispered. He lifted his fingers causing the kunai to leap from the ground and coil around, lassoing Evens body. In another second Evens would be completely binded by his unbreakable wires. If Evens were to pull off the impossible he might be able to evade part of his initial attack, but Navi felt certain he could capture at least an arm or a leg, even if that were to happen.

A kunai would fly up and tangle Evens. He would not try to evade the strong wire, but instead let it wrap around his whole body. He would smile big behind his mouthmask and would shake his head a bit to let it get away from the mouth to reveal the happy smile. ''So where is this mouse trap going?'' he asked happily, finally fighting, he was beginning to charge his skin with invisible chakra, preparing to push/burn the wire with his dragon roar to stop the initial attack that would maybe come.
He would smile while looking at Navi's direction.
''I said STOP playing hide an seek. Are you just staying in there???'' he said annoyed by Navi still hiding in the trees.

He had caught Evens perfectly, the wire was unbreakable and the trap was set. Navi felt uneasy though, Evens seemed to be smiling the entire time. ''So where is this mouse trap going?'' he asked.

''I said STOP playing hide an seek. Are you just staying in there???'' By now Evens knew which tree he was hiding in. Navi noticed Evens focusing something, maybe he was building his chakra and doing some strange jutsu that didn't require any handsigns. Navi wasn't going to wait and find out.

Navi performed a series of handsigns and built up his chakra before releasing. "KATON: RYUKA NO JUTSU!" he yelled, holding his lips to the wire that was binding Evens. A steady steam of powerful fire spilled from his mouth and raced down the wire at an incredible speed. The wires that Navi held tightly acted as a perfect conductor for his fire jutsu. They were made to conduct flame and overpowering his attack would be next to impossible without an equal fire jutsu, or some other far more powerful jutsu. Although if Evens had such a jutsu, he would have to perform it without the use of his hands, which remained binded to his sides by Navi's tight grasp.

In another moment the fire would engulf Evens, and he would remain binded by the unbreakable wire. Navi took the wires from his fingers and tied them around the powerful trunk of the thick tree, never letting up his tight grip. If he had to blow more fire, he would just need to hold his lips to the wire and blow down towards Evens. Navi watched closely and prepared more chakra, just in case Evens had another trick up his sleeve.

Evens just stood there and smiled. The big fireball coming closer to him. Evenss was one tough ninja ... or so he was known as since he'd been battled with many foes. This fire style attack would damage and burn him, but hw would not get too much damaged.

*Sorry I'm going to dispute this. Your using a D-rank technique to completely overpower my unbreakable wires that are tightly binding you. Your technique also states:

Your jutsu is meant to stun me and affect my chakra at 2 meter range. Not create a force field to overpower unbreakable steel wires binded tightly around you. I don't see how this technique does anything to loosen the wire.*
