The New Team 7

The ground shook and Navi began thinking quickly. Suddenly a massive explosion lit up the sky, reflecting light on all of the wires in front of him. I have to act quickly while I still see the path.

"Ayumi!" he shouted over the rumble, "follow me!". Navi leapt forward nearly ducking his head under one wire and rolling side ways to avoid another. He dove between another pair and bounded over another. The explosion began to dissipate and the lighting began to fade, but Navi had almost reached the end. With a final push Navi sailed through the air from the top of the tree and landed hard on his feet, rolling to get rid of the momentum.

When Navi got his bearings and looked up, he saw a seemingly bored Jounin far in the distance fiddling with his thumbs.

After the explosion, Ayumi heard Navi called her name and told her to follow him. ”Navi!! Where are you?” She shouted. She shouted his name again and started to hop from tree to tree. She was anxious and scared at the same time. “Where did the explosion came from? Who made it? What happened? Did Navi accidently triggered one of the traps?” she thought, “No! He’s too smart and careful to even trigger one of the traps” she thought. “Calm down, Ayumi…Navi told you to follow him…but where is he right now?” she thought. She looked around when she saw a shadow on a branch just a few feet away from her. She didn’t know whose shadow it was, but she didn’t care. She started to jump from tree branch to another as fast as she can, but with the smoke, it was hard for her to see. “I need to jump faster!” she thought. She channeled her chakra to her legs and jumped faster. When she was on the same branch as the shadow was, she saw that it was getting through a set of traps. “That has to be Navi!” she thought, a little relieved that she had found Navi.

She then imitated the exact same thing that he did. She ducked under a wire and rolled to dodge another one. She then dove between another pair and bounded over another. She almost reached to the last ones of the wires when the smoke began to get thicker and thicker. Ayumi coughed and gave herself a final push. She went flying through the air and out of the smoke. When she was out of the smoke she looked at the ground and saw Navi and a Jounin a few feet away from him. “Navi!” she half squealed and half shouted her comrade’s name, somersaulted in the air and landed on her feet next to him. She then looked at the Jounin. He was fiddling with his thumbs and was obviously bored. “Who is he? Is he my new sensei?” she thought.

"you're Asukari right? Of team 7?"
"yeah," said Asukari to the man,"what's up, a new mission?"
"I have a message from Laruko," said The Man."you are to meet him at training ground 11."
"right I'll be right there," said Asukari as he got up and grabbed his kunai pouch.

Asukari arrived at training ground eleven and walked through the trees.
BOOOM!!!
There was an explosion all of a sudden.Whoa, thought Asukari, he had leapt away just in time to survive the blast. His white shurt was burnt and there was a slice in his shirt revealing a cut that was already dripping with blood. Asukari knew immediately that this place was probably rigged with traps set by Laruko. He had thought that because he was already chuunin, the sensei wouldn't think of testing him. He knew he had been careless and decided to use the body flicker jutsu.

He appeared in the training ground and saw that the test had already started.
"Laruko I know you're out here!" shouted Asukari. He then noticed that there were two other shinobi in the area, most probably his new teammates. And there was Laruko standing with them.
"Hey!" shouted Asukari as he ran at them," what happened!"

(TIME LINE BREAKER)

It had seemed that one of them bit the dust and the other two made it to the field. Laruko chuckled slightly hidden his face which was looking towards his hands. He then lifted his head to see that Asukari had finally made it. Perfect, still sitting on the shrine the field wasn't over. Just to make things straight that a little body flicker wouldn't pass the wire's without they victim's skin being forcefully peeled off with temporarily injuries.

The girl then came to the one who bite the dust's aid, Laruko smiled a bit as she had spotted him on the shrine about 8 meter's away from her location. Laruko finally stood up, he hiked over a katana towards the two. "This is the first test, one of you must wield this sword passing through the wires. Cut the wrong on and damages may be fatal"

With a great bold voice the katana rolled over to the girl's foot where she would have to decide if she was going to cut the wires or give it to one of her teammates. One of them had to do the job.

(OOC:I'm just going to say that you guys are still near the prickled wires since a explosion would get you killed Navi. You would fly into the air landing in the spikes that would pierce your skin and do much damage towards you. I don't want my genin dying so yeah, gotta have you around man. And now pretty much you guys are standing in front of a field of prickled wires where Asukari just come from the forest. Anyway, just don't rush into things and get carried away alright? xD I got missions for you guys, so don't think this is the last time we see each other.)

Asukari looked up at the other shinobi in the area,"probably two genin," he thought to himself.
HE then noticed Laruko drop a katana by the feet of the girl who had aided him. The test was to wield the sword on the wires without setting off any mines. Asukari knew he could try this alone but held back. He wanted to see what the rest of the group would decide, after all they were his new teammates, he had to cooperate with them.
"before we do anything, I am Asukari Yamaki and I would like to know your names." said Asukari. He didn't expect them to know about the Yamaki clan, reason being that he and Raito were the only two "Ravens of Konoha," this was what Asukari's guardian had called them.

Ayumi was staring at the katana at her foot. She was stunned and shaking a little, her eyes wide open. "what...me? Why me?" she thought and looked at Navi. "I can't let Navi do this for me...he has been doing everything and I've been doing nothing at all...and he's hurt..." she thought, looking at Navi. She then looked at the katana at her foot again. " I have to do this!" she thought. She was just about to take the katana when she heard a voice from behind her.

"before we do anything, I am Asukari Yamaki and I would like to know your names." said Asukari. Ayumi gasped and turned around, shielding herself in front of Navi and positioned herself ready for a fight. "When did he arrive? Where did he come from?And who is he?"she thought. She looked at the boy and saw his headband. She relaxed a little but didn't let her guard down just in case this was a trap. "uh...I'm Ayumi and this is Navi" she said looking at Navi, " and we're in team 7...and I'm guessing you're too?" she asked looking at the boy called Asukari, waiting for his answer.

"I'm in team 7, there's nothing to be scared of," said Asukari grinning. But then winced from the wound he had acquired from the traps. "this is a team exercise that Laruko has got us in, he is the sensei," Asukari pointed at Laruko.
"we don't have to rush this..."

Navi brushed himself off, his ears were ringing and his vision was a little blurred. His entire team was here. Ayumi must have gotten out of there, Navi sighed with relief. He turned his head more to see his sensei saying something, but he couldn't make it out just yet. Next he turned to see another boy, it must have been his teammate.

Navi's ears stopped ringing as he heard the last of what he said.
"we don't have to rush this..."

"Rush what?" Navi said, his head still pounding. Looking around, a lot of attention was on him and the katana near Ayumi's feet. Whats going on he thought to himself. Navi quickly regained his composure as he waited for what was going to happen next.
