Asukari slumped on his bed. He had just attempted to stand up and gave up trying. It ad been a long night and he was still exhausted from yesterday's training session and now he was trying to find the strength to wake up and take on the new day. He noticed a scroll lying on his table and wandered how it got there. His memory of what had happened last night was blurry and he guessed he probably got a hangover from drinking that fish water. He stretched out and grabbed the scroll off from the desk and opened it. It was a mission scroll. The scroll spoke about a bunch of bandits outside the village causing trouble. His job was to deal with them, Asukari's eyes widened as he read the last part, no survivors. Asukari wasn't blood thirsty or a killing freak but the thought of beating up a whole lot of guys had become boring, he needed to kill someone who deserved to die and plus these guys had already commited murder, and Asukari believed that the only punishment for murder was to be killed.
"Looks like something exciting," said Asukari to himself.
He was now wide awake from the adrenalin rush that had flowed through him from reading the scroll. He tied his forehead protector around his head, strapped on his kunai pouch and slung his swords onto his back. He stretched and headed out the door with the scroll in his hand...
Asukari arrived at the village gates. The bandits were located on the outskirts of the village.
