surprise in the forest (NK, kafei/megami)

Megami had on her black two piece cat suit and her favorite black cloak. She had been jumping through the trees all day and by the time she reached this forest, she decided to take a break. Sighing she let her hood down revealing her wavy blond hair..

"This looks like the perfect spot to rest." Megami spoke as she sat on a huge tree branch.

With the wind slightly blowing it made her cape billow out in the back giving her a almost vampire evil look. She laughed lightly at the thought of looking creepy.

The sun-set marks the end of the young woman's run, and as she takes her rest the forest is dyed red.

Through the forest a sound echoed.."tttk...ttk...ttk..." the shuffling of cards to the ears attuned to the back alley dealings or even the games attributed to casino's in Tanzaku Gai.

"tttk..tttk...tttk" The sound approaches and with it the silhouette of a man the tails of his trench coat trailing behind him, brow hair swaying in the breeze a coy smirk forming along his roguish features.

"tttk...tttk....tttk" the sound continues as he shuffles the deck of cards in his gloved hands his eyes flicking towards her position atop the branch ten feet in the air thirty feet from his position.

He observes her position in the tree clothing choice and his smirk vanishes into a mirthful smile "Well hello there love...would you like to see a card trick..?" He asks his accent rather strange for one from the Village hidden in the Leaves, this of course comes from the foreign woman who raised him.

Megamis ears followed the sound as she looked around. She noticed the man as the sun was setting. as the sound came closer, she observed the man. The silhouette eventually turned into a person of interest, someone she had never seen.

"Of course I would!" She giggled from her tree branch. Card tricks have always awed her and now wouldn't be any different.

"Let me jump down and join you!" Megami said, she knew to keep her wits about her though for not knowing this man.

As megami jumped the wind billowed out her cloak once again, she kept the hood down though so she could feel the breeze in her blonde wavy hair.

The man watched as she joined him on the ground and with a flourish of his right hand he holds the deck out to her his left hand holding a single card the type of card hidden from view, he chuckles quirking an eyebrow "Now, take the deck and shuffle it as best you can~" he says with a wink of his left eye "Then I'll reveal the card and the magic will begin~"

As Megami smiled she brushed her hair behind her ears with her hand then picked a card. She enjoyed magic tricks, and as talented as this guy seemed he might have good tricks up his sleeve.

Noticing an accent, she asked him,"Where are you from? I like your accent." She looked at the card then back up at him. "

What is your name?" Megami decided to ask the stranger.

Usually Megami was the one getting asked questions, but this time she was asking them, honestly she had never seen him before

The man quirks an eyebrow as she ignores his request in favor of picking a single card and clears his throat casting a glance towards the deck then back up to her his eyes expectant his eyebrow quirked upwards in amusement a smirk tugging at his lips.

"It's rude to ask one's name before giving yours love, yeah?" He comments with a chuckle

This person actually made Megami blush, he was a gentleman. As she picked a card and held it in her hand, she decided to reveal her name to the gentleman. This gentleman was most definitely a sweet talker.

"I am Megami Arashi." Megami answered him Politely. "before we continue, what is your name?" Megami couldn't help but smile, as she looked down to see what card she had picked.

Something about this gentleman was different, she couldn't put her finger on what it was exactly. Megami looked him over with her blueish green eyes. Thinking he wasn't bad looking, her smile widened.

The man listens to her words but is more interested in her name "Aye, my nom de plume Mon amie, is Gambit" He says with his smirk widening "Now..look at your card and read what you see out loud~" He says a chuckle lining his voice his brown eyes staring into her's with something akin to interest, his eyes seemingly gazing into her own and piercing deep into her soul this man exuding comfort and open arms for those in need of a home...

One thing Megami has always liked was gentlemen. This guy tended to be one heck of a gentleman. Megami was determined to keep her guard up just in case though. Her face began to turn red again when he spoke french.

"You are such a charmer." Megami spoke to him smiling and adding a giggle to the last word.

The wind blew Megamis curly blonde waves forward framing her face. She brushed one side of her back as she flipped the card over to read it.

The card..is a disappointment....The Joker adorning the card once flipped over, the man makes 'Tsk Tsk Tsk' noise his lips pursing in his smirk "Hm..Bad luck eh?" He says with a chuckle.

He flips over the card in between his lefts hands index and middle finger the card revealed as the Ace of Hearts.

"Put the card back in the deck and shuffle it for me" He says giving her another one of his winks as he slides the Ace back into the deck waiting for her to do as he asked.
