Viper watches the care she takes with his pieces, something he actually appreciates her doing.
He views her move, he thinks about it and makes his own, grasping the piece corresponding to his words;
"Kings Knight pawn, D-2."
The piece is moved as such as he waits for her next move.

Akina carefully moved the same pawn up one space and ended her turn. She was wondering if she could find a strategy to outsmart him. There was a small light of hope in her eyes.
[Time skip to food being done]
Akina left the chess board untouched for a moment, even though the food was done, and it seemed to be done perfectly. She quickly dished out plates and carried them out to the couch. It was probably the last move of the game, and it belonged to Viper. Akina walked back to the kitchen and grabbed cups. She had brewed some tea and poured the delightfully warm liquid into the cups and walked back to the couch. It was cooler than usual for some reason.

Viper surveys the board, the match it his but there is no real point in winning, while she turns to get the food Viper exclaims a well rehearsed, "Whoops!" as he pretends to fall out of his chair his arm sliding across the board shuffling all the pieces together.
"Looks like it is a draw" He says while smiling softly, his right hand making its way to the back of his head scratching it softly.
Viper proceeds to put his pieces and board away, returning them to the old box before walking in to the living room and putting it away.
By this time she has finished preparing the food, Viper sniffs the air, due to his hunger he cant help but drool a but which he quickly wipes away on his sleeve, still noting he is in his rain coat he takes it off and hangs it on the hook, his standard Uchiha uniform revealed below.
Viper takes his seat beside her on the couch, he softly picks up his cup of tea in his right hand, he motions it towards her for a toast, a soft smile upon his lips still while he waits for the toast, once done he sips his tea.
"Food looks delicious Aiai, you did a really good job!" He exclaims, giving most of the credit to her cause without her guidance, he would of been completely lost.

Akina heard the chess pieces being shuffled together and her eyes widened slightly. The sight nearly made her spill the tea. "Are you--" She realized Viper was just fine, so she tried to hide her concern in a small sigh. She placed the tea in the living room and then helped Viper pick up the game by putting her pieces in the box as well.
"I had fun, Vivi." The smile on her face was genuine and broad. She nearly skipped back to the living room. The food's wondrous smell was making her stomach growl. She eagerly gripped her plate and waited for Viper to start eating, mumbling her appreciation of his compliment to him with a slight blush on her face.

Viper begins to dig in to his meal, chopsticks are broken as he takes a knife as well cutting his chicken in to bits before using the chopsticks to feast, a satisfied, "mmmm!" escapes his lips upon his first bite.
He finishes chewing then swallows, "I had fun too, wanna hang out again tomorrow?" Viper questions, not really having a plan, but seeing what tomorrow will bring.
He continues to eat while waiting for a response already finished with half of his meal already due to how hungry he was, the two bowls of ramen earlier in the night barely filling him up before they went to train in the woods.

Akina smiled as Viper took a first bite. She was happy that he liked the meal, and she was surprised that he was eating so quickly. "Is training me difficult for you? You eat as though you haven't eaten in a while." Her voice was calm, yet curious. The girl ate a little bit slower than Viper, though not by much. She hadn't cooked a dinner in a while, so she was glad that the meal came out decently.
Her face lit up at Viper's question. For some reason, she blushed slightly and her fingers twitched a little. "Sure! I would really like that...Viper-kun." She smiled somewhat sheepishly as she finished her meal and sipped at her tea carefully.

"It's not difficult, I actually just got back from Kirigakure no Sato, Ichiraku's was the first meal I had since I departed." Viper says with a chuckle, revealing slightly where he was at after their fight.
The rest of his food is finished rather quickly, followed by his tea, he slumps back on the couch with a satisfied childish grin "Hehe".
Viper looks towards her when she responds, noting the blush that dusts her cheeks.
"Well lets get some sleep so that we can actually be up tomorrow, I can't remember when I last slept" Viper says with a chuckle getting to his feet, he makes his way towards the steps casting her but a wave and a smile for now instead of the hug he would wish to give, but as he has already learned today she needs her own time to develop her feelings.
"Goodnight Aiai" Viper says sweetly while making his way up the stairs to his room to sleep, his door creaks open as he flops down upon his bed with a soft groan at his sore body mostly from staying up late the past nights.

Akina’s eyes lit up without her meaning them to. The girl had often been interested by other countries or villages outside of Konoha, but she had never really been able to see any of them. “So, you can go to different villages?” She whispered excitedly, trying not to have her curiosity noticed completely, at least not right away by Viper. After all, her dreams of traveling were probably just childish day dreams that would one day pass on without her. Of course, that’s what she had always been telling herself, but now she found herself trying to picture what Kirigakure looked like. While she was day dreaming, she heard what Viper had told her about his eating Ichiraku’s ramen.
She tsked her tongue lightly. Her finger waggled at him slightly in a playful manner. “I guess I’ll just have to cook more often, then!” Her voice was given in a mock tyrannical tone. She even folded her arms in front of her chest and stuck her tongue out at Viper playfully as he chuckled and rose to his feet. She sighed slowly and nodded. “Right, because sleep is important.” She smiled again and watched as the Hokage waved at her.
“Good night, Vivi.” She said very softly, bobbing her head slightly toward him, since he had just waved at her. Had he hugged her, she probably would have hugged him back, but it seemed that distance was still present between the two ninja. All things considered, even though they had fought, they seemed to have made it through the day, and things seemed to be getting closer to one another. As he walked up the stairs, the Hyuuga girl wandered back to the couch, where she seated herself for a few moments. Her thoughts were calm and yet raging. She sighed lightly to herself and picked up her tea. It was still warm, so she decided to finish it off in a few gulps. She lowered the cup from her lips and exhaled loudly. The tea was refreshing to her, but she mentally groaned. The dishes were still sitting in the living room dirtied, and someone had to do the work. A sigh echoed in the night. She staggered to her feet and dragged herself and the dishes to the kitchen. Akina fought back grumbling and complaining harshly. It was true that she hated doing the dishes or cleaning up the kitchen, but she supposed that Viper had been through enough for a while and so it was up to her to finish what needed to be done. She hummed softly as she started running the water and rinsing off the dishes. The last rays of the moon were shining softly in the window, and the sight somehow made the Hyuuga girl happy to be awake right now.
The water was quite hot, but the girl had handled rice for onigiri that was hotter than this. It was nice to feel some warmth on her hands in contrast to the cooler air around her. She lightly gripped a wash cloth and began scrubbing away at the plates and cups that had been used for the meal. She placed each dish in the dish strainer carefully. Looking around the kitchen once more, Akina hung her head heavily. There was still an oven to wipe off and pans and pots to wash. There was also a cutting board, a knife, and a bowl to take care of as well. “Right,” I almost forgot that I need to wipe off the table and the counters as well. She sighed again, and then determinedly began to get to work again. The soap on her hands was starting to annoy her, and the stack of dishes only seemed to grow to her. Whenever she reached the bottom of the stack, there always seemed to be another dish that popped up. Finally, the girl was able to breathe a sigh of relief as the last dish clinked onto the rest of the dishes.
The girl then busied herself with wiping down the oven and the table. The counters were shiny by the time she was done, and the girl’s body seemed heavy and tired. She groaned softly. It had been quite a day, but she was almost ready to call it quits for the time being. Her mind was active, but her body was begging for sleep. Her feet shuffled across the kitchen floor, but her brain was still working out something she could do for Viper that would put his mind at ease. She looked around the room and found a mop and a bucket. She filled the bucket with water and some cleaner and began the task of mopping the kitchen floor until it shone. She stepped from the kitchen to the living room and managed to find a duster. The house was looking desolate and dank, so she decided to push her body in order to tucker her mind out. She was working up quite the sweat, and she stopped to wipe her brow a few times. The house looked much better after doing a little bit of work to it. Akina smiled happily, but then she groaned when the sun started to turn the sky a light gray. It looked like she had spent another night awake, but at least, this time, she was not pining over what she thought was a lost love. Instead, her heart felt light and the girl found herself thinking of what she and Viper would be doing tomorrow. A light whistling tune got stuck in her head, and she found that it was a rather egotistical song.
Her feet automatically carried her to her room, and her brain could not muster up enough of a fight with her to stay awake. Her body was ever growing muscular and thinner. She could make out some of the shapes of the decorative fans that Viper had allowed her to hang on the walls, They carried the Hyuuga family crest and they had been given to her so that she could become a lady by learning a more refined art. It was said that the fans also helped one to learn how to move one’s body when learning the movements of the Gentle Fist, but Akina did not quite have the refined movement of a female as she was normally trained by her uncle.
The silky smooth gray covers were enveloping her body in an instant. She hardly realized that she had walked over to her bed, but the softness of the blankets and the mattress were comforting to her. She found herself wanting something to hold during the night, but her aunt was not very keen on giving children worthless triffles such as toys, so Akina gripped the pillow next to her tightly. It was cold, but it was also the only thing that would quiet her wandering mind. She was wondering what it was like to be held by someone like a mother who loved her as she slept.
She looked out into a sunny field. The woman was back again, and so was her mother, it seemed. Akina wandered over to them curiously. They seemed to be talking and laughing with one another. Akina’s mother looked at her and smiled gently. The Hyuga woman looked so young, and her smile caused Akina to feel a lump developing in her throat. Her mother was now blurry and Akina found herself wiping away her tears slowly. The Uchiha woman was also taking something of an interest in her. The Hyuuga girl froze in her place; she felt as though she was being weighed and measured under the weight of the woman’s gaze. Akina was finally motioned to sit between the two ladies.
Akina’s dreams drifted on peaceably as she slept in comfort.
