The Blacksmith's request (Private; Nero and Sanji)

Sanji was surprised by Nero's sudden decision to make a clone and the appearance of chakra-based wings on their backs. As the two took hold of him, he knew what was going to transpire, putting 2 and 2 together. It would rob Sanji of an opportunity to perhaps compound his already freakish strength, which he decided against using on the ore deposits since they were in a cave and that would run the risk of collapsing it. He didn't complain, however, when Nero and his clone scooped him up and prepared to take him down the mountain and back to the village." No, I'm fine with heights. Otherwise climbing this mountain would've been unsettling."

As they took flight, Nero again started in with the conversation, but Sanji would be more compliant this time." I'm Sanji Sanada, I don't know how else I'm supposed to answer that question. I'm not from a clan, however. I don't even know of any other living Sanadas." He says, hesitating a bit before he continued." I don't see that I have much to live for except the life of service that comes with being a shinobi. I hope that mentality doesn't come back and bite me someday, but I can't help it. "What an answer." answered Nero as he left Sanji on the ground when they were just in front of the blacksmith's shop... Nero grabbed the ore from the ninja's hands and gave that to the blacksmith. The blacksmith, along with the reward of the mission, gifted them a katana. Nero smiled as he gave the katana to Sanji "Here you go." he said, "Sell it if you won't use it... Otherwise, it was nice to meet you, Sanji Sanada, maybe we'll meet each other once again...".

That three word response to what Sanji said spoke volumes. He decided to leave the subject alone as they turned over the ore to the blacksmith and got their reward. Sanji looked at the katana he was handed, and nodded softly to Nero. He had no intention of selling it, if nothing else it would serve as a keepsake of this mission with Nero. Sanji was sentimental like that." Likewise, Nero..." was all he said before he walked off, his pockets a little fuller and the katana held in hand. He unsheathed it and looked at the gorgeous blade." Such fine craftsmanship..." he thought as he looked at it. A check of the blade's sharpness quickly inflicted a nick on Sanji's thumb, a drop or two of blood falling from it." I barely touched it..." he says, before sheathing the sword again. It may be a beautiful work of art, but it also showed it was more than ready to undertake the art of war. [ exit ]
