A future ally [Jinn/MangetsuHozuki] Private/NK

Jinn sat near a lake, his katana gripped firmly in his hand as he waited for basically any ninja to come and spar with him. This would hopefully be his first battle after gaining the rank of chunnin, but he knew that his rank meant nothing if he did not show his strength in a fight against another ninja. The place he had chosen to wait was pretty isolated. It consisted of an empty plain, sided by a lake. Jinn liked the water, that was the main reason he chose this location to train. Also there were the many fish swimming in it, that could become snacks at any moment. He stopped thinking and began to wait. He figured if a ninja did come and he felt he was not strong enough he would reject him and wait for the next person. He laid down on the ground his eyes starring at the sky. As he waited for company.

Mangetsu had been wondering around in his puddle. Moving along the borders he decided to stop and rest. Looking around the environment he noticed anoher person nearby, and he had been looking for a good spar and maybe this would be the person he could challenge. Moving the puddle closer to the other being he materialized into his human form next to the guy lying on the ground. "Hey, what are ya doing?" Mangetsu asked.

Jinn was about to doze off when he heard someone say,

"Hey what are ya doing"

His first response was to grab his Katana and defend himself, but he figured if the person wanted to kill him they would have been less curious. He stands up on his feet and observes the young ninja before him. Upon observing him he notices a Kiri headband. "Nothing much, just waiting, names Jinn..Whats your name?" Jinn says, he already knows this person standing in front of him could one day become a formidable opponent, hopefully a partner. He knew he could get great a spar out of him.

Seeing Jinn grab his sword mangetsu grabs the hilt of his katana at his side " i am Mangetsu Hozuki and one day i will become the greatest ninja to live and a master swordsman " he looks at Jinn wondering whether he will be a friend or foe know that they are of the same village meant it still could be either way since some shinobi are double agents and could try to gain his trust only to kill him. So he is always on the defensive. The man that stood infront of him seemed a formidable opponent or a great ally and know that he is a swordsman and the ability of his clan he was not worried that this man could kill him with just his katana. " So what is that you are waiting for? "

Jinn smiles at Mangetsu, "Well I too wish to become one of the greatest swordsmen, 7 swordsmen of the mist to be more specific." Mangetsu then asks Jinn what he was waiting for. Jinn unsheathes his katana and points the edge of it towards Mangetsu. "I was waiting for a sparing partner and it seems like I found one." Jinn bends his knees slightly. "So are you up for it?" He says, knowing that even if he refused he would still try to fight him.

Mangetsu smiles and laughs alittle " it seems that our aspirations are the same so maybe we can become strong even more powerful than the seven swords before our time " he draws his blade running it down the length or jinn sword " sparring huh that sounds like fun but also sounds like work cause we need to stay alive to become a sword but i mean i am not worried for my safety " he smiles as water starts to draw around his feet " i may be young but i am an experienced swordsman " he bows his head ready to spar as equals

"Indeed we can become stronger then the men before us." Jinn allows himself to smirk a little but quickly stops. He knows that the man in front of him is truly an experienced fighter, he can tell by how he carries himself. His whole body stature begins to change, going from relaxed to serious. He then jumps back a few feet and then says, "I gotta warn ya I won't go easy." He bends his knees again and begins to run forward. "Ahhhhhh" He screams as he leaps forward into the air. He then quickly lifts his sword up and brings it down towards Mangetsu hoping for a clash of swords, which was his favorite sound.

He decides to take a more serious stance as he carries this holds his sword in his right hand ready for the attack " dont worry i wont go easy either. we dont get stronger by just going lax on each other right " he see jinn jump back and run toward him as he leap in to the air mangetsu lifts his sword ready for the first clash of the two blades after all true shinobi learn the most about people from sparring so he is taking the attack by clashing sword to measure up the strength of his opposer

The clash of swords was perfect. As the sound echoed throughout the plain. This was exactly what he wanted. He felt the eagerness in the boy. As both of their swords and spirits clashed. He knew he had a slight advantage in strength, combined with the gravity, which too was bringing him down towards Mangetsu. He continued pushing, hoping that the kid would see that he was in a bad position and back off. For he did not want to hurt him seriously.

As he felt the pressure of the blade coming down on his he uses his kekkei genkai and turns to water to move behind his opponent letting his opponents blade run right through his water unfased " you are good but pure strength is not all you need to beat me " he stands up behind his opponent aiming his sword at his neck " i can see the power in your eyes but death is not something that this power will cause me " he smiles as he enjoys the heat of battle between the two swordsman
