Messiah sprints through the borders back in the direction of Tengakure, holding the severely burned, injured, and disfigured Sadao. This is bad, very bad, this is the second time that Messiah has been in this situation. Messiah decides to take to the abundant treetops, expediting his trip back to his village. He begins to leap from branch to branch, still holding the body of Sadao, he is a good 15 meters up from the ground. Sadao is still unconscious, passed out from the shock of being barbecued by Messiah’s fireball jutsu; not even an earthquake could wake him up at this point. There is no risk of Sadao waking up and attacking Messiah.
As Messiah leaps through the tree tops, he loses his footing on a particularly thick branch, falling on his belly on the branch, but not descending any lower. Sadao however is not so lucky. He is sent plummeting 15 meters towards the ground and lands on his head, hitting the firm ground below with great force. The impact shatters his spine, which will leave him paralyzed for life, this will not be enough to kill him however. He will still have movement from the neck up, so he will be able to breathe and speak just fine. His internal organs will also still be in tact and working, so he does not run the risk of dying. But even the most skilled of medical ninja will not be able to piece Sadao’s spine back together. Little does Messiah know, but he has just ended this boy’s ninja career.
Messiah does not see Sadao fall, as he was too preoccupied in his own little tumble to notice. He gets up, looking around and wondering where he dropped Sadao. He gasps as he looks down and sees Sadao lying there on his face. Messiah leaps to the ground and examines Sadao. His body is twisted in quite an odd position, but externally, he seems fine. Messiah shrugs, he is not a medical ninja so he has no idea of the extent of the damage that has been caused to Sadao. Messiah merely figures that by some miracle Sadao has been spared from the fall and is not injured at all, as there are no new external signs of harm.
Messiah sighs a sigh of relief and wipes the sweat from his brow. That could have been close one. He picks up Sadao and continues on his way. As he runs, he notices a figure walking in the opposite direction, and he comes closer and closer. That is when Messiah identifies the other man as Kinominki, a Konoha shinobi with whom he had sparred in the past. Messiah figures that he is closer to Konohagakure right now than he is to Tengakure, so it might be more efficient if he hands the broken Sadao to Kino to bring back to Konoha instead.
“Hey man, I have kind of an odd request,” Messiah begins, “Could you take this kid back to the Konoha hospital? Since that is closer?” Messiah will then await a response, hoping that Kino honors his request. Messiah still does not know that Sadao is permanently paralyzed for life and will no longer be able to live the life of a shinobi. What a pity...
If Kino obliges, Messiah will thank his new friend, handing him the burnt and broken body of Sadao. The kid is quite a pitiful sight, Messiah does not want to look at him any longer. He will then race back towards Tengakure, eager to get back home.
