Training with an ally. [Private, nk]

Vergil would walk through the village his hands placed in his pockets a he stared around. He had become more than bored, he wanted to find something to do quickly. Up ahead the training grounds could be seen, in a blur of speed he would appear directly in the center of the field.Though he realized training alone would not give hin the proper stretch. He would contact Habee mentally, "Yo, you free to train. If so I'm at the training grounds." He would wait for a response.

Xuro was jumping around from roof top to roof top dressed in his usual attire consisting of his light weight Jounin attire covered with his brotherhood of Light cloak. His Brotherhood of light head band strapped firmly around his forehead slanting over his left eye hiding Xuro's deepest secret. To Xuro, it was a souvenir, a spoil of war, a reward you could say, for protecting his village. But to others they might not think it as that and might question it. He didn't want his name to go bad or anything so he kept it well hidden to only be used in a dire situation. He was well equipped with all his equipment and weapons and his eartanic blade which like always, he carried in his right hand across his right shoulder. He was on his way to the training grounds to get some training of his own. He hadn't had much self training since Sunagakure was attacked so today he felt training was necessary. He wanted to improve his knowledge into other fields such as space-time and also maybe obtain a new element or two.



He was just but a few blocks away from the training grounds when he heard Vergil call him telepathically, asking to train. Xuro responded via the same medium, "Sure! I was just on my way to the training grounds to train my self so I guess we can train together then. Be there in a minute!"
Xuro reached the training grounds soon after. He entered it and looked for Vergil. On find him, Xuro would head over and greet with a smile on his face, "Hey Vergil! How ya doing?"

"Fine." Vergil would say in response to Xuro. He eyes the blade the man clung to, its size was alarming, but it seemed to fit the man perfectly. "So what do you wish to train today?" Vergil would as as he rested his right hand on the weapon which remained sheathed at his hip. Dressed in a tight fitted black shirt which clung onto his toned frame, along with black pants aswell and simple combat boots. His black hair fell down to his shoulders and two scars remained on his face at the moment. A single one going down the center of his forehead and another one on his left cheek. Vergil was ready for a spar and he was hoping he would be able to learn the rest of his gentle fist techniques through this spar.

"Ummm... Let's see.. How about before we get into a proper spar let's first do some separate training just to get into form and warm ourselves up... How does that sound?" Xuro responded to Vergil's question. If Vergil would agree, Xuro would begin his warm ups. He first placed his blade into the ground, firmly standing erect. He then loosened his muscles and then walked to some training dummies. There were 5 of them placed at different points perfect for Xuro's training. He begin practising taijutsu on the two that were standing facing one another with xuro in between them. Xuro practised some kicks, punches and other combo techniques. Taijutsu wasn't his specialty at all but he did know the basics for a close combat fight even though he's a long range fighter. He walked to a nearby tree that was very sturdy and strong. He then took out his two katanas and began slashing at the tree at various angles and trying different tricks. He wasn't an excellent weaponry specialist but he did have some knowledge of it since he was possessed a very strong blade which he knows how to hold it like a pro. Using that blade for so long since he had became a genin, it was so long ago he wasn't even sure when he first got it as a gift made by his father and passed down to him. He didn't worry about that all he was concerned about was to keep it with him at all times and use it to its utmost potential.

After a few slashes with his katanas, he put them away and then went back to the 5 dummies. He then pulled out some kunai and shuriken. He was practising his weaponary skills of throwing projectile weapons with precision and a perfection. He had to have very good targeting and aiming skills since he was a long range fighter and would engage in battle & throw these weapons from a far distance. So he had to accurate with his aim and also with the speed of which he threw them. He held 5 kunai in each hand and threw them at 3 dummies positioned next to each other with a 5 meter space between each one and also a 30 degree angle from one another. He then quickly responded by throwing 10 shuriken at them and followed it up by unleashing a wave of 10 senbon at them. After this he went there to observe his results. He had been quite accurate with only a few shuriken and senbon just missing there targets. He then collected all the thrown items and stored them once more. He then thought for a minute or two to see what other training he could do. While thinking, he looked over at Vergil and watched what training he was engaged in.

"Ummm... Let's see.. How about before we get into a proper spar let's
first do some separate training just to get into form and warm ourselves
up... How does that sound?"

"Alright." Vergil would reply stepping away a few meters from Xuro. He would then begin to stretch his muscles. He would bend over touching his toes, he would place his head between both of his legs pulling tightly so that he could release all of the tension in his body. After he was done stretching he would walk towards a dummy in front him. He would raise both of his fists to his face, his dominant right hand, raised slightly higher than his left hand. He would strike quickly at about half of his speed, the dummy would be slapped backwards slightly, just to enter its original position once more. Picking up the pace ten more hits would land upon the training dummy, all in a matter of a second or two. The dummy would be slapped backwards away from Vergil and fall onto the ground. It was impressive enough that his speed had grown so much, though he knew that he was lacking in strength. This was perhaps something he wanted to fix soon. He knew that it was inevitable that he become stronger though this training session, he doubted it would be easy, but still he would give his best against his senpai.

Looking over towards Xuro he would watch as he seemed to be practicing his precision. Vergil knew very little of what he was capable of in a spar, still it seemed as though he was holding back. Vergil wondered what kind of fighter he was, his chakra was fairly high, so it was indeed possible that he could be a jutsu specialist instead of a taijutsu focused specialist like himself. If that were the case, Vergil would have to find a few ways to close in on the man in combat.

Thinking of that, he would look over his eyes looking towards Xuro. "Ready?" Vergil would ask him.

Xuro stopped his brief warm up and looked up at Vergil when he spoke. Xuro nodded, "Hmm". He then turned to Vergil's direction, "ok then let us begin! We never actually had a proper spar before. This would be very interesting and educational as well. I want to see what you have to offer & what abilities you have. I also want to see how I stand against you..." Xuro would walk up to Vergil, standing a mere 5 meters away. He knew he was in for an epic fight that is why he had a grin on his face the whole time. He wondered just what this Hyuga boy had up his sleeves. He can see how is it to fight the byakugan and also see the awesome power of the Gentle Fist techniques. He could also make this fight a lot more interesting by using his biggest secret and biggest trump card. Something he hadn't used in battle yet and couldn't wait to try it out. He was going to use his Sharingan. That left crimson red eye of his being covered and "tamed" by his brotherhood of light head band. It was glowing with anticipation to fight and be set free in the open to use its ocular powers to get into the fight. He didn't want Vergil to think that he was taunting him, mocking him or anything since Xuro knew about the history of Vergil and the Uchiha and how much he despised of them. Xuro just did this to make it a bit more fun and to spice things up. Plus it even the odds now so both of them possessed Dojutsu.

Xuro had his Eartanic blade in his right hand held firmly across his shoulder. He smiled and Vergil and said, "I won't use explosion release this time. You have witnessed it before. I want to settle with my old fashion Earth style close combat fighting. This also makes it easier for and an equal fight since you are a close ranged fighter we will be able to fight equal. Plus I'm gonna use something else that evens the odds. Hope you don't get angry I don't mean any offensive towards you. I want to fight your byakugan with my sharingan... So then let's begin don't hold anything back! ... Its time... Brother vs Brother... Byakugan vs Sharingan." On saying that Xuro would lift up his head band and make it resume its straight 180 degree position across his forehead. His left eye now exposed, Xuro opened it revealing his red cold sharingan eye... He then dashed at Vergil with his eartanic blade in both hands gripped firmly. He forced a huge swing horizontally across Vergil's side. The motion swung from left to right with all the force he had. He sure wasn't going to hold anything back and he hoped Vergil would do the same and give it all out...

"I want to see your abilities too, Xuro." Vergil would say to his leader and friend. He wanted to see fully what the mans capable of in combat. He knew the man was stronger than him, but he also wanted to see how he matched up against his superior. He knew that he had gotten better since the beginning he just did not know by how much. He was not sure on how broad the gap was between the power of the two of them. He would be sure to give the spar his all and not hold back a single bit. The fruit of his labor, training, hardships, this spar would show just how far he had come. Vergil would exhale slowly standing upright he would stare directly into the eye of Xuro as he stood 5 meters in front of him. Vergil only remembered that the man was capable of using something called explosion release. He had seen the man with his explosion clay once and he remembered when Xuro explained to him just how strong it was. Vergil definitely expected the man to use his explosion release at least once in the spar.

Vergil stared at the blade the man carried across his shoulder. He would then listen to him as he began to explain that he would not rely on his explosion release. This was a surprise to Vergil he expected the man to use it. Instead he said he would be using a close range earth fighting style. This was even more astonishing the man seemed to excel in many things besides his clan abilities. Though Vergils heart would skip a beat when the man mentioned the sharingan he had possessed. Vergil had almost forgotten that the man had one. Though he knew he meant know harm. Even Vergil himslf knew that the Sharingan was a very impressive Dojutsu, only a fool would believe otherwise. Though the main reason Vergil harbored no hate towards the man was because he was not a member of the cursed clan himself. Now had he actually been a member of the Uchiha clan things would definitely be different. "It's alright. You can use whatever you must, I know that you mean no harm." Vergil would say to Xuro assuring the man that he did not have any problems with it. He would smile at the remark Xuro made, Byakugan Vs. Sharingan. This was sure to be an interesting spar. Vergil would patiently wait and watch as the man removed his head band from over his sharingan. Once it was revealed the pale white eyes of Vergil, would stare into it defiantly.

Vergil would draw his ninjato from the sheathe at his side. Just as he did this, Xuro would dash forwards. Vergil would activate his byakugan, at the same time rising his ninjato so that it clashed with Xuro's weapon, before it was able to make contact with him. The man was definitely strong so Vergil would attempt to slightly nudge the mans blade away from him. If he was able to create this space, Vergil would duck downwards and move his legs in a sweeping motion attempting to knock Xuro's feet out from under him, this would result in him most likely falling to the ground unless he avoided the sweep, which seemed likely.

And so the epic, long awaited spar between Xuro Bakuton and Vergil Hyuga started. Both members of the Brotherhood of light and both high ranking ninja of the village hidden in the sand. Vergil with his trade mark, signature Byakugan activated and Xuro with his own 3 tomoe Sharingan eye open and active ready for battle.

Xuro started things off by attacking Vergil with his loyal and mighty Eartanic Blade. He swung at Vergil hoping to get things started. Vergil had his own ninjato out and used it to block Xuro's attack. The two clashed and Vergil nudged at it to push it away. Xuro immediately used his to his advantage. He used the force of that push to stab the blade into the ground as he could "see" what was coming. "Incredible! So this is part of the potent legendary powers of the Sharingan?!" Xuro thought to himself as his left eye took control. The red cold, "dead" eye with its three tomoe was already getting to work so early in the spar. It could easily predict Vergil's move. This gave Xuro a good enough chance to find a counter to it or simply another way to manoeuvre around it. So as he stuck his blade into the ground and held it firmly in place, Vergil was ducking and preparing to perform a sweep at Xuro's legs. Xuro immediately used the blade in the ground as a medium to lift himself up and perform a front flip over the sword and over Vergil's sweep. If this turned out successful, Xuro would have front flipped over Vergil using his eartanic blade for support. Once he landed from the flip, Xuro would remove his sword from the ground turn around swiftly and leap into the air with his sword held in his arms behind his back. As he landed where Vergil would be, Xuro swung his blade from behind his back, over his head and then right at Vergil in one swift motion. He was hoping to aim for Vergil's head. Although this was a dangerous attack since the blade is sharp, he knew this was very simple for Vergil to dodge or to counter...

As expected the foot of Vergil would not meet its target. Instead it met nothing at all, looking upwards Vergil watched Xuro leap into the air, using his sword for support. Upon landing the man withdrew his sword from the ground. At this same moment Vergil would stand up from the crouched position the sweep attempt had placed him in. At this moment Xuro was already above him once more, his sword coming down towards him. Thinking quickly Vergil would dive to the left, before the strike could hit him, he would tuck his legs into his chest to prevent the, from being cut off by the mans sword, he would also press his hands into the ground and push himself upwards back onto his feet. Unless something intervened, the sword of Xuro would slam into the sandy ground next to him. The moment the sword impacted the ground, Vergil would swing with his left arm his fist aiming to strike Xuro in the temple, with enough of his strength to smash through a concrete wall. As he swung his fist Vergil was still very alert, he was prepared to abort the swing the moment he saw a change in Xuro's movements.

Xuro's attack was easily evaded by Vergil. Xuro had just managed to catch on the edge of his eye, Vergil attempting a fist towards his head. Xuro quickly bent his body backwards to allow the fist to move just barely past him. If this succeeded, Xuro entire body suddenly became rock solid. Not only making it a brownish colour but also enhancing his health and strength. This was known as Earth Style: Earth Spear. A jutsu Xuro used rarely as he only used it when he battle a close combat fight. This was probably the best offensive & defensive jutsu to use in close combat since it enhances the user's abilities as well as protects him from most normal basic attacks. Xuro would then grab the man's fist with his right hand and then use his left hand to aim a powerful fist at Vergil's side. He would lay three punches like this before slipping his left foot behind Vergil's leg and using the grip he had on the boy's arm, he would trip the boy and slam him to the ground. If all of this were to succeed, he would have Vergil lying on the floor.
