Ganki's training (closed)

“It’s good to be back”, said the jounin ninja that was walking through the Kumogakure training grounds. It has been a while since Ganki had been here, the old memories would pour in as he took in every detail of the scenery. But Ganki did not come to the grounds just to enjoy the scenery, no; he was to train even harder than before. Today he would be increasing his experience in the knowledge of taijutsu, the hand to hand combat tactic. “Let me see, how am I going to do this, I should have brought that old dummy that was laying around in my room”. Ganki was dress in his full Jounin uniform, he had recently, and finally, gotten a set from the kumogakure storage house. Why it took so long for him to get it, he didn’t know, but he got it at least. As he walked down the area he spotted another kumo ninja that was resting near a tree, Ganki wondered if he could sparr with him. As he walked closer towards the ninja, he noticed that he was wearing the same uniform as himself. “A jounin versus a jounin, now that would be one hell of a fight, since I wouldn’t have to hold back”. When Ganki finally reached the man he tapped him on the shoulder with his right hand, shaking the jounin shoulder as well. “Hey are you awake, if so get up, because you and me are going to spar now”. Ganki’s voice was filled with determination, in fact he was somewhat inching for a fight. The other ninja would look towards Ganki as he was sitting down on the ground. “A what, spar, can’t you see I am on my break. A spar… please, I would whoop you like I was your daddy”. Ganki then jumped back, “Like who, looks like I’m going to have to teach you how to behave.” Ganki then delivered a quick right leg drop kick; his leg would now come down on the sitting ninja, striking him with power. However, the shinobi would catch his descending kick with his left arm, blocking it from coming any closer. “You see”, the boastful ninja said, as he then slitghtly raised his arm a bit to throw Ganki off balanced. Ganki did lose his balance as he tilled back, but he managed to catch himself by performing a back flip, Ganki was now back on his two feet. “Ok, you might have got me there, but now try and dodge this.” The other ninja would rise to his feet quickly as he heard the words coming from Ganki’s mouth. “Fine then, but it seems likely that I will be teaching you how to kneel and obey. The ninja would then run towards Ganki, the fight between the two ninja’s was on. Ganki saw as the ninja would charge him, Ganki could use one of his fire jutsu to take him out, but this was a taijutsu match, hand to hand. Ganki then charged towards him as well, he then timed himself to jump up at the right moment to deliver a flying kick. The other ninja would look at Ganki’s feet as the closer he would reach the shorter his strides would become. He clearly foresaw a mid air kick, or something closer to that. He then immediately duck while ganki would fly right over him, he cleanly evade his obvious flying kick. But then this was only the beginning of his dodge, as he would quickly grab the back of Ganki’s flak jacket and throw him down to the ground. Ganki was then thrown to the ground as the other ninja’s strength seemed superior to Ganki’s own. When Ganki was down on the floor, he quick rolled to the right as he would evade the drop kick that was aimed for his chest. Although his opponent had brute force on his side, Ganki would use his teleporting like speed to evade the most dangerous attacks that would seriously hurt him. While Ganki recovered from the roll he performed, the two ninja would b standing in front of each other at about ten feet. “Looks like I may have a chance against you, it looks like I have the power of speed. With your sluggish speed ill come out on top in a matter of time, can you say checkmate?” Ganki would throw taunts at him, to throw the ninja off even more. But Ganki well knew that he couldn’t let one of those power attacks connect with him, or he would be the one throwing in the towel. “Are you serious, I have my strength behind me to take you down? Even with your advanced speed it would only put us at a tie, a yin and yang like position. You keep that state of mind up and you’ll be joining the countless others that faced me, in fact I believe they are all counting the new ceiling tiles right about now.” Ganki laughed a bit as he never heard such bull, “Man get out of here with that BS, now I know I have to take you down.” Ganki would stride to the left of the ninja, gaining distance away from the ninja as well. Ganki had a new tactic that he would try, instead of taking the first strike as usual; he would wait from his to deliver the first blow so he could quickly counter the attack. “I’ll have to get out of the way as soon as I lay in my counter, so I won’t be in the danger zone”, Ganki said to himself in a muttering tone. As he gained about 5 more feet from the ninja, the other jounin would break fast as he charged towards Ganki, using the same tactic as before. He would the throw two quick jabs that were aimed at Ganki’s face, in an attempt to knock him out, and some teeth as well if he was granted that bonus. “I’ll make this ninja so sorry that he managed to piss me off during my only down time in the day.” Ganki then saw the jab that was aimed for his face, Ganki then moved to the left as he easily dodged the attack, but then he quickly noticed another jab that was aimed at his face. “How the hell”, Ganki would be shocked as it would appear to be the same attack that he just dodged, it was almost like he never dodged the first strike or if like someone hit the rewind button the T.V.. But luckily, due to Ganki’s speed he ducked down out of the way with blazing speed. As he was crouched down, he then dashed forwarded on the other ninja’s right side. As he did, he would form a fist with his right hand to strike him in the abdominal area. This time he knew for sure that he could land a punch, as he did he used all of his might within his single punch, hitting him with power. When the blow was struck, he was then behind the ninja, about a few feet back. “How was that, you thought you were so slick that you could hide that second punch. But I handled it, though you did get me at first, but that doesn’t matter right… hehe”. Ganki would chuckle a bit as he finally landed a hit. “Keep laughing, it’s not like a felt that sorry ass tap.” He would turn around to face Ganki, he showed no signs of wheezing or a tilted posture that you would normally see from a guy who was dealt a punch in his stomach. “Really huh, well…”, Ganki stopped as he then felt a sharp pain that spread throughout his whole hand. He could still feel and move all of his fingers in his right hand, but the pain just kept on coming. “I don’t know what just happened, but it not going to stop me.” Ganki had to gain more skill in taijutsu in order to become stronger, and to do so he would have to observe all of his opponent’s movements. The other ninja would question why he was here, of all the places he could have gone, why here? Ganki then ran began to slowly shuffle to the left once more, “I need to increase my skill in taijutsu, whether you beat the knowledge into me, or if I manage to overcome you. I’m not leaving this training ground empty handed; I will learn more about taijutsu.” The other jounin would laugh a bit, “What’s with all this monologue, it seems to me like you’re in some sort of movie. But I will grant you your wish, you will learn… today. But I’ll give you a single tip before I sent you off to the infirmary, one why to judge your opponents next move is with their feet, if you have sharp eyes then you can judge where and when your opponent will strike. This skill is one of the basic skills a taijutsu master would want to know. But now class is over, it’s time to sent you on your way to the clinic, to join the countless others that count the ceiling tiles this very moment.” The ninja would now get into a fighting stance that somehow strengthened his muscles; he would channel all of his energy and focus into his last and final attack. He would now want to take Ganki down as soon as possible. Ganki felt this huge amount of energy that now focused around the jounin, the whole atmosphere around them would change to the jounin’s will. Ganki then noticed that if he were to be hit with this, he might be killed in the process. Ganki would think about how crazy this ninja has become, it was clearly not a spar anymore. “Maybe I should have laid off the taunting a bit, but oh well not like I can do anything about that.” Ganki then stopped moving, he would take the advice of the man and look at his feet. With the advice he had just gotten from the man, plus the advanced speed that Ganki possessed, Ganki knew that he still had a chance to evade this attack. “With all of this energy that he is pulling in, if he misses with this attack then he might be tired out, and that is when I’ll finish him off. The other ninja then made a loud roar as he ran towards Ganki with all of his speed and might at full power, this was the power of a true taijutsu master, Ganki thought to himself. As he came closer, he extended both of his arms in an attempt to clash them with Ganki’s chest. Ganki saw the opportunity and moved, the force of the impact was so great that all what they could see was only light. When the other ninja regained his sight he was no longer in the training grounds, he was now laying on his back. “What happened, what’s going on… where’s that…”, the jounin’s hands were wrapped around in bandages, fully encased with cloth. Ganki finally got up from his chair that was right next to the other ninja’s bed. He would then walk out of the room, now knowing that he was ok. “Wait what happened, what did you do?”, the ninja was dying to know. Ganki stopped for a second to answer his question, “Well. You kinda ran into the tree you were sitting against, man you knocked yourself out cold. But don’t worry, I learned everything I needed to know about taijutsu, so thanks old man”, Ganki would say as he would now walk out of the room. As he left the ninja to his rest he managed to say one more thing to him. “Hey, if you get bored, don’t forget. “You can count the ceiling tiles to make the time go by smoother”, the other ninjas that were there as well laughed as well
