Reawakening (Closed Training)

The sanded wood of the training sword felt almost too awkward within the grasp of her right hand. It felt nothing like the cool steel of a proper weapon.

But Aroma shouldn't have any recognition of what it felt like to hold either of them. Not since her coma left her slate almost entirely blank. To where that the Viperis woman must teach herself once more, to retrain both her body and mind.

Maybe she'll get lucky. . maybe her hands would find the cool surface of steel more comfortable, as if her hands was made for the weapon.

But right now Aroma didn't have a steel sword, night now she had a wooden one, and that wooden one would make due for the time being. She curved the sword in a crescent arch, before being it back up and level with her shoulder. The muscles in her arms grew tense per swing, as it led her strength with each gained strike. It was a simple training session. Just some basic reconditioning so that the woman could decide whether or not she was suited for a real weapon.

Her rider chains, the weapon she held during the chunin exams, an event from long ago, were long gone and forgotten.
