Training with the Mizukage (P, Nk, Suzaku and Min)

Minorin had only recently returned to Kirigakure from Tengakure with the Mizukage. It had been about two days since she had come home; she was feeling excited about the Gobi but she was also feeling very cautious about the whole situation at hand. She had started to attempt not to think very much just in case it was sitting around reading and dissecting her thoughts, she didn’t know very much about it, actually, she really didn’t know anything about the Gobi or any other bijuu for that matter. That was what made her so restless. She only knew that bijuu had destructive powers like nothing else she had ever witnessed. Minorin never thought she’d have to worry about such things until now. Now that kind of information seemed vital since she had one sealed inside of her.

At the moment Minorin was standing at the doors to the Mizukage’s office, she hadn’t requested to go in yet and was wondering if she should really enter the office. She had been asked to come after all. For some kind of training, Minorin wasn’t sure what it would exactly entail but she figured it had to be important. The possibility of it involving the bijuu was high though. She sighed. She felt nervous around the Mizukage, she was only a Genin and wasn’t very sure what to say more than half the time.

She glanced up at the doors and took a deep breath; she didn’t want to just barge in. That’d be rude. What should she do? She wanted to make a good impression every time since he was the leader of the village and that was causing her to think frantically. Then the most wonderful idea came into her mind. To knock on the door. Minorin came a few steps closer to the doors and knocked, they weren’t teeny tiny quiet knocks that could barely be heard and they weren’t loud booming things either. It was only the sound of a small fist tapping against a large door.

As the knocks sounded throughout the office, a guard appears and opens the door, staring down at Minorin and leading her into the Mizukage's office where Suzaku sits, taking care of today's paperwork with his Mizukage hat stacked on a high stack of paper. Looking up, he sees Minorin and dismisses the guard, standing up and stretching a bit. After a few moments, Suzaku walked over to Minorin and asked a few questions.

"Alright Min, let us begin. First, do you know what a bijuu is? Second, can you tell me which one was sealed inside you? And third, have you spoken with your bijuu yet?"

Suzaku listened as the Sanbi communicated with the Gobi in their own personal dimension. Though he couldn't hear what they were saying, by the sound of their voices it sounded like they were deep in conversation.........

Minorin stopped knocking abruptly. A guard had suddenly appeared and before she knew it she was being led into the Mizukage’s office. She was now standing in front of his desk. He seemed like he was working hard, there were papers everywhere; the Mizukage must get an awful lot of paperwork done. She wondered if that meant he’d gotten a lot of paper cuts from all of it. His Mizukage hat was stacked on top of a tower of paper, and from her angle it almost looked as if it had flown over and perched there itself.

Then the Mizukage looked up from the papers at Minorin. She made sure not to move a muscle and waited for a moment or so. The guard had been dismissed and the Mizukage had stood up, he then made his way over to Minorin and began asking questions. To her they seemed almost rapid-fire but that was most likely because of her restlessness.

Minorin attempted to bow slightly to the Mizukage before pausing a second to allow herself to assemble her thoughts, “I know that the bijuu are very strong and I don’t really know more than that about them, I heard once that they were sought out as tools of war… And I know that it was the five tails, the Gobi, that was sealed inside of me but I know nothing else about it. I haven’t spoken with it yet either.”

Minorin was feeling like there would be some sort of Gobi recall due to her answers, it couldn’t be good that she was so ill-informed. She started to feel increasingly odd after answering the Mizukage’s questions. She wondered if it was the Gobi that was making her feel this way but she quickly set the thought aside. It was surely silly to think that.

Suzaku looked at Min with a sign of surprise on his face. They hadn't taught the kids about bijuu yet? Odd...... No matter, Suzaku would tell Min some information on the power that she held inside her body.

"Well, Bijuu are actually giant chakra monsters created from one single entity. They were once used as weapons of war, actually. And, the Gobi is called Kokuo, actually. I suggest calling him by his real name, they get real angry if you don't. And, what? You haven't? Well then, we need to begin!"

Suzaku then motioned Min over to his chair, clearing off the papers and other materials on the desk.

"Alright, first, you need to converse with your bijuu, get to know him. Then, get up when you are done and find me down at the training field. To converse with your bijuu, you have to concentrate hard and make it so you can get into your sub-conscious where the Gobi resides. Well, bye!"

Suzaku then dissapears, running down to the training grounds where he waits for Min to talk to her bijuu and begin her training to master the bijuu.

Minorin couldn’t help but feel embarrassed when the Mizukage seemed so surprised by her answers; maybe she had missed out on common knowledge somehow?

Minorin listened intently as the Mizukage started speaking, not wanting to miss a single piece of information. The thought of a single entity being split up into many different beasts was insane. It did ring a bell though; she might have heard something about that and the sage of six paths from her father at some point… That could be why she didn’t remember it, her father had a roundabout way of doing things. She paid extra attention to the name, “Kokuo,” She’d have to remember it. Minorin definitely didn’t want something so powerful to be angry with her. Then the Mizukage said something about beginning something, this caught her off guard. What was she supposed to begin exactly, speaking to the Gobi, er, Kokuo? She had no idea what to do.

Minorin came over to the chair she had been waved over to and watched as the Mizukage cleared off papers and such from his desk, and then he began speaking again. It turned out that she would have to talk to Kokuo now after all. In order to get to know him before the training. Then the Mizukage told her to concentrate hard to get in her sub-conscious where the Gobi lived. Then he left to go to the training field she supposed. Just like that. Minorin was a little shocked by such a quick departure; she bowed again and called out, “Er, Thank you, Mizukage-sama!”

She turned back to the table. Was she supposed to lay on it? That was what she had to do before to have the bijuu sealed inside of her, so was that a big thing? She sighed and crossed her arms; the Mizukage had only said to concentrate hard, so maybe he had cleared his desk so she wouldn’t see any important documents? She decided to run with that idea and ever so slightly leaned on the side of the desk, not wanting to disturb anything in the room. She closed her eyes and tried her best to concentrate. She let herself think only of this new information she had gained about bijuu and attempted calling out the Gobi’s name, “Kokuo.”

Minorin did this time and time again, it had only been a short while, but she didn’t want to keep the Mizukage waiting. She imagined he must be a busy person.

Minorin let her thoughts cease, falling into her newfound habit of not thinking. Maybe that could be it? At least in her case anyways?

“Kokuo, are you there…?”

Minorin waited a moment and then froze.

Did she just hear something?

“I’m sorry. Hello?”

And then she felt as if she was somehow inside of herself, an image now lay on the backs of her eyelids that she never would have dreamed of. It was dark and light at the same time, a murky image at best, but still one worthy of praise and shock. There was the Gobi, Kokuo, standing in all his majesty. The bijuu was large, very very large; Kokuo was white as snow except for the ends of his horns, hooves, and tails, as Minorin stared in awe at the murky image of the beast she couldn’t help but think that he looked like some dolphin-horse hybrid. He even had four horns; two pointed long horns and three shorter horns in front. Then Minorin’s eyes focused on Kokuo’s, she noticed there were red markings just below his deep blue-green eyes. She and Kokuo were separated by what seemed to be very tall and thick steel bars, by focusing on the bars Minorin was able to remain calm and after a moment the great beast answered her.

“I am here.”

Minorin could have fainted; this was something out of a dream, it had to be. She attempted to speak but stumbled over her own words before finally saying, “It’s really nice to meet you, Kokuo.”

“And I you, small one.”

Kokuo seemed really polite; Minorin knew if she was ever sealed away inside someone she wouldn’t be so mannerly. Although being called small was never very fun, since she really was small, however, she let it go without a single hitch. Minorin figured something so large and powerful must find nearly everything to be tiny. Then she thought that she should tell Kokuo her name, since she knew his.

“Oh, you can call me Minorin if you’d like, whatever you’d like to call me is fine.”

“That is noted.”

“Okay. So, Kokuo, um, if you don’t mind me asking, what is your power?”

The Gobi shifted, his hooves making a clattering sound as he did so, he brought his face down low as if he was trying to look Minorin in the eye which was almost impossible since he was so big and she so small, Kokuo’s face was still a good ways above her despite his effort.

Then he breathed what seemed to be the tiniest breath imaginable and a musty heat filled the room, it now seemed to be packed with steam. It was so warm; it felt as though she was just an inch away from the hot surface of a stove.

This overwhelmed her and she found herself back in the Mizukage’s office. She realized she had never actually left but it had been such an odd and amazing thing to see the Gobi. She blinked and hurried towards the training field, hoping she hadn’t made the Mizukage wait but so long.

Minorin had made her way to the training grounds and had been searching them for a while, she couldn't find the Mizukage anywhere. She sighed, he probably had other business to attend to and she had taken too long conversing with the Gobi. She turned and headed to the training grounds she usually went to with Denkiteki, maybe she could force him to help her.
