Keeping calm, Ymir watched as Jinn threw the Kunai at him almost without effort. The first came flying at him at a slower speed than normal. Seeing it just in time to react to it, Ymir raised his newly acquired sword and blocked the kunai. Just as the first kunai was deflected, two more came right behind it. Seeing this, Ymir used his high level of speed to raise the sword up and deflect the two incoming kunai with ease.

"Perfect." Jinn would say as he saw that Ymir stood unharmed by the kunai. "Now you know the technique, but that was the easy part. The hard part will be using it in battle against someone else. If you wish to perfect this technique I would advise you to increase your speed. It is great now, but there is always room for improvement." Jinn would say as he sprinted forwards towards Ymir, closing the gap of five meters easily. He would pick up his kunai and say, "You can have the ninjato." While putting his kunai in the pouch on his left hand side, he would begin to walkaway, his stomach growling loudly from his hunger. A new idea reaching his mind. I should really create a new version of that technique. He would think as he walked away, satisfied.

Ymir picked up the ninjato in his right hand and gazed at it. He was trilled that the stranger had taught him this new technique. He sheathed the sword and placed it on his back. He turned and faced the sea and wondered what he would achieve in the ninja world. Would he become something great or would he seise to exist. That when he made up his mind. He was determined to become a great ninja. Whatever it took, he was going to do it. He turned away from the sea and began walking back toward the village only stopping to briefly glance at the palm tree that was so quickly cut in half. He wondered if he could do such a thing. Wanting to try, he unsheathed his newly acquired Ninjato, and began advancing on a nearby tree. He quickly performed the "Drawn Sword" technique and cut the tree in half with incredible speed and accuracy. It was apparent at that moment that Ymir would become a great shinobi. He sheathed his ninjato and fixed it on his back. He turned and entered the Village Hidden in the Mist.
