Rank: D

Character Requirements: None
Word Count Requirements: 300 words

Reward: 400 ryo.
Task: Multiple villagers have reported their
belongings stolen. Multiple villagers had reported being a target of a thief,
mostly at the same time. Your job is to find the thief or thieves and capture
them.
Tsukare sighed as he walked around the village. As much as it pained him to admit it, this month he just hadn't really been able to make ends meet, and so he had to take some D-rank missions to let him get by. Still, faced with the loss of his appartment or some D-ranks, he would rather do the D-ranks. Which led him to where he was now, patrolling around the village, looking for any signs of a disturbance. He paused as he entered the market district. His eyes narrowed. There, to the right of the stand selling fresh fruit, was a young man, mabye 15 or 16 if he had to guess. Now, just because he was a stranger, and therefore, suspicious, was not the reason Tsukare had noticed him. It was because the young man was reaching for the fruit vendor's purse! This must be the suspect in his second objective: to find a thief that was going around the village, stealing people's hard-earned ryo. Tsukare automatically reached for his father's kunai... which he had left at his apartment. Oh well, he would make do. Tsukare drew in a breath, and shouted: "THIEF!" Everyone in the market stared at him, and then their eyes whipped around to where he was pointing, at the young man reaching for the vendor's purse. The man's eyes widened, and he turned and sprinted away. Tsukare immediately ran after him.
They ran through the village, ducking and dodging around the people who were in their way. Tsukare was definitly faster than the thief though, and was slowly gaining on him until SLAM! He ran into the outstretched arm of a jounin. Oops. Tsukare, sprawled on the ground, coughing, looked up at the ninja.
"Be careful where you run, my friend. You might end up getting seriously hurt, or hurting someone."
Tsukare nodded his head, wanting to continue chasing the... thief...
"Jounin-san! I apologize, I was chasing a thief, the same on that's been plaguing the streets for a while now! He went that way!"
The jounin's eyes abruptly narrowed. "I see. Good job, but I will take over from here. You are dismissed." The jounin disappeared via shunshin, leaving Tsukare to get back up and dust himself off. "He could of at least helped me up... " he grumbled. Tsukare looked around, and sighed again. He began to amble off in a random direction, continuing his patrol.
Tsukare kept walking; it had been at least an hour since his encounter with the thief and the jounin. He had covered most of the village and was now heading into the western side of the village. He walked through the slums, keeping a careful eye out for anyone who wanted to cause trouble. Living alone and having to do his own errands had educated him on how the city worked, and the varying qualities of the people living inside of it. He looked at his surroundings; the dilapidated, run-down buildings around him made him feel sorrow for the people who had to live in these conditions... then again his own apartment wasn't that good either. He moved along, looking aroung carefully. Finally, he exited the slums and emerged at the city wall; above it he could see the high mountains of Kumogakure rising in the distance. He watched the sun begin to set, and then, realizing he had completed his patrol, began to walk back to his apartment.
On his way there he saw the same thief he had pursued being dragged to the Raikage's tower, in the arms of the jounin he had bumped into.Tsukare smiled to himself, and kept walking. He eventually reached his apartment as the last rays of the sun were peaking out over the horizon. Tsukare opened his apartment door, put his things down, changed into his pajamas, and promptly fell asleep.

In the future, please put each mission in a separate topic (at least a separate post).
Also you kinda messed up the formatting a little bit and made everything bold XD
Still, approved for appropriate rewards.
