Hatsugen was proud that his combo succeeded, but was a bit concerned when his opponent blacked out. He had not had much of a physical advantage over his opponent, he must have just been more skilled in the art of physical fighting. His opponent lay on the ground "Ok you win!" Hatsugen would hear Xuro yell. "Well alright, if you want to end it here," he would reply. He was hoping to get a bit more of a fight out of Xuro, but he was find with ending it here, he had gotten a good bit of training out of this spar. Hatsugen looked up at the sky, it was just a bit more to the west than it had been when he arrived. Hatsugen had not realized how quick the spar had really been, he was pretty tired for such a short spar; Xuro had put up a nice fight. Hatsugen figured that it must be around 2 p.m. about now. He felt fulfilled and invigorated from the fight that he had just had with his opponent. He was proud of his own performance and had even grown to like Xuro for his persistence. He had hoped to test Xuro's persistence a bit more, but he figured that everybody must have their limits. He had gotten a good feel for the abilities of Sunagakure shinobi. While his opponent had not even been able to land a hit on him the whole fight, Hatsugen knew that he was a great deal more skilled than most other shinobi of his rank. Being from the Uchiha clan and doing the amount of training that Hatsugen did on a daily basis, he assumed that this was only natural. Despite his easy defeat, Xuro had cause Hatsugen to work a bit more than he had expected to, he had also demonstrated some pretty good skills with ninja tools. Hatsugen did however wonder if there was something that Xuro had been holding back the entire fight. Since the beginning, Hatsugen had noticed two, very peculiar looking mouths on the palms of Xuro's hands. He wondered if this was some hidden special ability that Xuro had not used in fear of killing Hatsugen. Xuro had certainly piqued Hatsugen's interest, and he hoped to see the boy some time again in the future. Hatsugen certainly had the intentions of keeping in touch. One day, when the two of them had unlocked their true potential, maybe they could have a showdown to test their true strength, jutsu and all. Maybe they could even become partners; Hatsugen knew that only time could tell. Hatsugen approached Xuro and offered him his hand, he would help him off the ground if the boy took his hand. “Hey,” Hatsugen would say to the boy “That was a nice spar, I can see true potential in you and I think your persistence is admirable. You do have me curious about those hands however. Is that some sort of secret technique? I guess I’ll find out someday. Maybe we can spar again sometime in the future. I’ll keep in touch.” Hatsugen would say this last part with a grin on his face. He was truly eager to fight with the boy again. He would shake Xuro’s hand and then pick his coat up from the ground. He would begin making his way back to Kirigakure, the sun blaring in his eyes. He felt that he would encounter this boy again someday. As friends or as enemies, he did not know. Hatsugen made his way home without looking back.
