"Are you okay?" The man would ask, "Your eyes widened after I said..." Ayumi was startled. "I...I...thought I said something wrong to you...and...yeah" she said. "I apologize if I startled you. Lots of things have boggled my mind lately, and I haven't really been in the spirit to do anything. I'll be right back." He said. He came back within seconds back to her. "Two of my family members once had the honor of wearing this. They've passed on to a new life now, but I'm sure they're happy." He said, holding a uniform in his hands. "Is there anyone like me in Konoha? I've always been living here as the only Uchiha, so I'm wondering if there are others I should know about." he asked as tears dropped from his face. Ayumi looked at him. "I-I don't know." She stammered, having no idea what to say. "So, what is your purpose for being here, if I may ask?" Anko asked her. "I...I...I'm...actually...I'm locked out of Konoha." she said at last.

[No problem. Feel free to take your time on your posts. I am not the type of guy who will use the 48-hour rule to move on in topics like this anyways.]
As the girl had given some sudden news away, Anko would find the most appealing building in Sunagakure no Sato, at least the one he thought was best after the attack. He would hang the uniform against it, attaching a note to it. He would begin to write on out, tilting his head towards Ayumi as he would smile:
"Dear Citizens of Sunagakure,
As the previous Kazekage died for our sake, I, Anko Uchiha, the brother of a former Kage, hang this uniform over this fine building, only to be worn by the next warrior we can call our new leader. We cannot yet determine who the next Kazekage will be, so all we can do is wait. The elders are still watching, thus no one can simply take the position simply due to desire. Trust me. I myself would love to have this position, but sadly, all I can do is wait for the official announcement. Let us praise for the one whom earns this position, and honor him to our fullest.
~Anko Samui Uchiha
"Sorry for that..." Anko would comment, regarding his sudden note that could be taken as ignorance. "As many traumas have occurred here, our former leader curing them all, survivors have spent much time rebuilding this village. I work as the messenger." As he spoke, he would sigh, not only about the constant death that recently arose, but more about the village's current condition. "So you're locked out of Konoha, huh? Well, although our village has suffered much damage, there are still many places you can rest in for the time being; one being my former dormitory. It consists of over twenty rooms. It is located just around the corner of the academy, out of harm's way. If you need anything during the night, I'll be around, putting up posters and banners, and mainly scouting the village. Our former leader had most villagers flee before the catastrophe occurred, so all is calm for you to investigate; whether it'd be for food, drinks, or anything that suits your mind. Anko would sigh, the sigh being followed by a bright smile as he himself had not realized how great this village truly is, even after its recent attack. A sudden thought would come to mind as the girl must have felt really lonely, having been separated currently from her loved ones. "So, do you need a tour? Like I stated before, I'll always be around to aid you if needed." The smile would remain on Anko's face, his final thought being why Konoha would be locked down. Has chaos really erupted over the nation? This question he would keep to himself, his current smile acting as a poker face, the last thing needing to be startling this young lady once more.

Ayumi watched as Anko stood up and walked towards of what seemed to be left of a building. He hung up the uniform that he had been holding and rote something on a piece of paper. He later then came over to her saying sorry. "No, it's okay." she said softly. She nodded as he told her that he worked as a messenger. "So you're locked out of Konoha, huh? A tour would be great since I'm going to be here for a while I guess." she would say and laughed softly.

As Ayumi had accepted the tour, Anko would proceed, guiding himself (and hopefully the lady) to the first stop. Slow tears would run down Anko's face as he would examine the first part of the tour. The first destination would be the Ruins of the Kazekage Chambers. "This is it..." Anko would comment, "...our first stop- the Kazekage Chambers." As tears continued to run down his face, Anko would ensure that they would not affect anything else, such as his posture or voice. "Here, the great ones of our nation once ruled. Currently, no leader runs our village, the next in line hopefully to be decided by the elders. I show you this not to extract fear, but rather to witness what the world is like. Change occurs everywhere, and we cannot stop it. Pretty soon, these chambers will be rebuilt, and a new image will represent the Hidden Sand, a new icon to reflect the people, and more importantly, another leader to guide us all." As he spoke, not once did Anko turn himself towards Ayumi, but rather pointed out each aspect of the building, looking as if he were explaining things to himself, the messages hopefully to reach those behind. "Kazekage or not...I will be that new image." Anko thought to himself, nothing to be heard from the young lady amongst him. He could sense it...the two suns in his life; Azaiyo and Amane. The tears would stop as the Uchiha's confidence overcame them, a perfectly blank face taking over. A sudden notice would come to mind as Anko's vision would slightly blur, objects that Anko could once see from afar, about a mile away, now unable to be seen as vividly as before. "Any questions?"

Ayumi followed the man as he started to walk. Their first stop was the Kazekage Chambers. She stared at it blankly. "Here, the great ones of our nation once ruled. Currently, no leader runs our village, the next in line hopefully to be decided by the elders. I show you this not to extract fear, but rather to witness what the world is like. Change occurs everywhere, and we cannot stop it. Ayumi nodded. …So this building is the Kazekage Chambers…or whats left if it anyways…I wonder what happened… she thought to herself. ”Any Questions?’ Anko asked her. ”uh…no.’ she said and shook her head.

Depression would fill Anko's heart once more as there would be no comment supporting the Kazekage Chambers. Anko had intentionally asked for questions merely to hear a story, but it was quite obvious that the current condition of the building said otherwise. Due to this, the same routine would occur. However, as images of pain and suffering would flash before Anko's eyes, a few stops would be skipped. Anko would pass by the hospital and markets with no comment, only hoping that Ayumi would once again follow as he would make his way to a more interesting destination. "This is the academy." Anko would announce, his enthusiasm trying to play its role in his voice. "Legendary Sand-Nin once trained here, only to learn the greatest abilities known to mankind...as of today at least." Anko's tone would drop, his thoughts of death becoming clear once more. "Feel free to use this as a 'refreshment base'- give yourself some free time to boost yourself up. Surrounding this area of course are the training grounds, so you'll have tons of room to get some fresh air." Anko's depression would cause impatience, his hopes of wanting to end this story growing endlessly, but his generosity and kindness fighting against it. "It's time I stop telling you what-is-what. This is your second home. Only you can clearly express how you feel about each part of this village. I can only aid you until your village becomes open to you again...then you're free to go."

Ayumi watched as Anko lead her slowly through the village. They passed by the hospital and markets. He showed her the academy and her new home, which was near the training grounds. She nodded, looking around, trying to get used to her new surroundings, her new home for the time being. She looked at Anko, trying to hold back her curiosity. ”Um…so…what happened?” she asked awkwardly. ”To the Kazekage chambers I mean.” she continued, trying to make a conversation with him to fill in the silence that was taking over

Anko would stop as it seemed he did get what he wanted- distractions. In a moment like this, it would be very much appropriate for someone to take another one's eyes off a dreadful image. Of course, the young lady did in fact bring Anko from one dreadful image to another. Maybe this was a test. Yes, it is. It is time that Anko overcomes the feelings of death and continues to walk his dreamful path. Thinking about Azaiyo, Anko knew that he would not be subdued by any Missing-Nin, considering the constant reports sent in of how he continued to eliminate enemy bases. "Sometimes people get mad..." Anko would say silently in response to Ayumi's question, "...most people these days do not understand the feelings of others...how hard people work...how people commit to things. Shinobi just do as they want...what they call the "greater good". A former Kazekage once told me that...my father to be exact." Anko could still hear it, the slowly collapsing remains of the Kazekage Chambers moving until they would hit the ground surface. It was obvious that Anko had gotten here not so long after the attack itself. "This is just a small example as of why we live in a corrupted environment. Some people call the villages we live in the "Five Great Nations." I just call them "land."

Ayumi listened carefully as Anko started to answer her question. "Sometimes people get mad...most people these days do not understand the feelings of others...how hard people work...how people commit to things. Shinobi just do as they want...what they call the "greater good". A former Kazekage once told me that...my father to be exact. This is just a small example as of why we live in a corrupted environment. Some people call the villages we live in the "Five Great Nations." I just call them "land." She nodded her head slowly. She turned around to look at the Kazekage Chambers. She remembered how it looked like before it was destroyed, as she was once here in Sunagakure, on a mission when she was still a Genin. "I'm sorry..." she started and turned to look at him. "for everything...for asking you that question...I must have..." she continued, but then stopped, unable to continue her sentence.

"For what?" Anko would smile in response to the seemingly miserable showcase Ayumi had to reveal. "You actually reminded me of someone important, someone with great potential, just like you. She is living her life beautifully right now, nothing standing in her way. Her job is complete. She has created miracles. The only thing standing in her way now...is her. Now it's your turn." Anko's smile would grow brighter. "Since you're locked out of Konoha, why don't you return as a better person?" Anko would ask, hoping Ayumi would see the true meaning out of what he just said. His sightings would slightly blur as nearly anything within long range now would be blurred. Something questionable was happening to him.
