Making Money (Private, Invite Only)

Ukita sat near the front gates of the village hidden in the clouds. He had received a mission mandate from the mission command of Kumogakure. He was supposed to be meeting up with his friend Fai here, but he had yet to arrive. In the mean time Ukita reviewed what this mission entailed. Glancing up he looked at the clients: ten workers who were bound for the village hidden in the leaves. Ukita's task would be to escort these workers to the village. That task, in and of itself, would be fairly simple if these were some small time workers. These were specialized workers. They had worked on villages across the five great nations. In a nutshell they knew the ins and outs of most every village, which was something almost every missing ninja would love to have their hands on. As such the task fell to Ukita and Fai, where ever he was. The workers were getting impatient as they waited. They knew that missing ninja would be after them. Probably not too many this time as they had done a good job of keeping it on the down low. But, if their operations grew much more they would surely be noticed by higher ranking missing ninja. Luckily for this mission it would merely be thugs. Finishing off his mental briefing Ukita raised his head and looked around for Fai.

Fai did not go to sleep until 12 at night due to a....unfortunate event with someone trying to break into his house. However he would awaken on his own couch and stretch," that was a wild night and today should be pretty damn boring on its own," of course Fai had forgotten he had a mission to do with Ukita, but that could wait until later he had some time to kill before then. He would get up and put on his clothes; this time wearing a long black jacket with silver straps and a blue shirt and black pants with a silver belt. Over his right eye would be a black bandage shaped in the form of an eye patch. He would already be eating as he plopped back on the couch," i wonder when i should head on out...maybe now," as threw the bowl of rice at a wall and walk out of his house heading to the gates.

He would first have to go through the training field, which was not a problem, but people were still giving him a "look" he did not like. He would finally make it to the gates where he would see Ukita waiting for him," yo man what's up sorry it took me so long...i had a visitor i had to take care of last night and it was kind of a hastle..sooo yea," he paused for a second so what mission are we doing. As he stood beside him.

Ukita looked up at the arrival of Fai. Giving him a fleeting smile he called out a greeting: "Hey, Fai. Its fine no harm done." Ukita's voice dropped down, so that the workers could not hear, and took on a bit of a joking tone: "Although I think you took a couple years off these guys. They are higher strung then anyone I have ever seen. We should try to get this escort done quickly. If we wait much longer it will make it harder to get done." Speaking back up so that the workers could hear he yelled out a command to the workers: "Alright! Lets get a move. If we wait much longer we will hit traffic" The traffic was of course a joke Ukita doubted they would run into many people traveling by the same route as them. However, despite this obvious joke it seemed to make the workers all the more jumpy. Ukita took the front of the caravan in hopes of catching any missing ninja from the front. He kind of wondered where Fai would station himself. In the mean time Ukita let his mind flow to the coming chuunin exams. They would indeed be tough. He needed to get stronger. Fai was already strong, but Ukita on the other hand needed more power. The only way he could do that was getting more power of the eight gates. As it stood he only had power over the first three, but his power would no doubt double if he could master three more. Then and there in the starting of a mission Ukita resolved to get stronger.

As he caught up to Ukita he would smile," these poor bastards will live besides they have to put up with me for this whole journey, so why not be a little late," as he looked over to them. They sure were old but Fai really did not care about age, it was the thrill of being in danger or the lack of it that made it fun for him. He would look at Ukita and smile," so i will take the back area seeing as i can see for a while away, you know the eye and all, your expertise you be the front. If we hit anything i will let you know ahead of time," as he listened to him tell the men to get moving. He would stay in the back and activate his byakugan, keeping track of everything that went past his eye. Of course he would keep it under the bandage, but he would still see everything.

As they began to move he would make a mental note of everything he past and also made sure to make sure everyone was on point as he began to smile at how well he was keeping them in check, which made this day a little more interesting

Ukita gave Fai a brief nod. Fai was smart-Ukita did not like thinking of strategies for an entire caravan. He welcomed the idea of making a personal strategy, but one for a group was hard. It was hard to know everything about everyone-there was always a sense of randomness. It was impossible to figure how someone would react under every situation. That was what made working in a group so...unpredictable. So, following Fai's instructions Ukita went up to the front of the caravan. While walking there he gave a blink and instantly three tomes could be seen in his eyes. Ukita was going to be ready for just about anything, but it would nice being able to depend on Fai's long range vision. It gave him a warm feeling knowing someone had his back. All his life Ukita had had no one to watch his back, but now it felt good-more secure.

The caravan continued onward for another three hours without incident, but on th dawn of the fourth hour Ukita felt that something was not right. Having the caravan halt Ukita called back to Fai: "Hey! Did you see those birds a while back? Do you see anything now?" There had indeed been a large flock of birds that flew up from the forest in the moment in time before Ukita spoke. Ukita felt that it could very well be the bandits they were told to watch out for, but he needed Fai to confirm or deny it before moving forward.

Fai was riding on the back of the caravan instead of walking..well because it was more convenient for him instead of walking. He would keep vigil of everything he saw and even made it a game. He really did not care for the mission, it just got him out of the village with a good friend. he would notice something out of the blue for a moment but chose to ignore it until Ukita pointed something out," yea i saw them about the same time i saw something weird not to far from where the birds came from..it looks like we will have guests, better get ready," as he hopped off of the caravan and looked at the direction of the birds.

He would make a shadow clone as he sat on the inside of the wagon, being the eyes while his clone fought unless he needed to fight himself. He would see the signatures begin to move as the clone told Ukita," get ready because they are coming," as the clone acted causal.

Ukita took note of what Fai said without a word. He did not want to alert any would be assailants that he detected them. But, it became apparent rather quickly that it was a little late as Ukita spotted three people come out of the woods. All three appeared to be unarmed-quite honestly they looked like a bunch of thugs. When the three man ran at the head of the caravan Ukita knew there was no way to avoid it. With a sigh Ukita unlocked the first three gates and charged at the three people with a fierce battle cry. In an instant he dispatched the three people. They had not been very skilled nor very strong. It was a bit disappointing really.Turning around he found that the caravan was just fine-no one had gotten past. However, Ukita was more worried about Fai. It was very likely that some bandits had attacked the rear of the caravan as well as the front. For all he knew Fai was still fighting them. Waiting in apprehension Ukita hoped for some signal from Fai that they were good to keep going and get this mission done.

Fai's clone would be looking around the back as he saw three men come from the woods trying to attack it. The clone would smile as it slapped its hands together making a small lightning ball. As one of the men got close, Fai would slam the ball into his chest shocking him and dropping him to the ground as the other two jumped over him. Fai would appear from the caravan, delivering a massive uppercut to one while it was still in mid-air sending him further into the sky, which could be seen from Ukita's side. The last one would be defeated by the clone as it disappeared. Fai would shout," all there now lets finish this up," as he got back in the caravan.
