Perhaps the young violet-haired girl had been careless. Or maybe she had gotten in a brief skirmish with with of her peers yet again, or broken up a fight between a provoker and the black-furred wolf who typically stood at her side. Regardless, she had left a small pink wallet lying in the dust, completely forgotten and abandoned on the trail. Should one open the nameless wallet, they would find five thousand ryo. Finders keepers, right?

The trial was more or less empty. The reason he was there, well, just to sightsee. It was a new village for him at the end of the day. With his hands behind the back of his head, he would eye a sudden wallet lying on the ground harmlessly. No chakra could be sensed from it, and when he picked it up, an extremely convenient amount of ryo was located inside of it. How lucky of him, now he was beginning to save up for perhaps a large house. No one was there at the time, no hints to return the money to. It was just his now, that and a wallet.
