Meeting At the Borders {Private}
Thu Feb 21, 2013 3:21 pm
Kino, fully dressed in darkish clothing, was walking through the borders. He was heading to Sunagakure, for a small visit with his half sister, or so he had planned to do. He was smiling as he walked, wondering. It had been some time since he had last seen his sister, she wasn't of the same clan as Kino, she didn't possess the same cursed blood of the Uchiha, though Kino wasn't entirely sure what clan's blood she had. Kino began to wonder if even she knew, or at least found out by now.
The last time Kino was in Sunagakure, he was leaving, with his father for the test his father set up in secret. If only he had let other's known, well, Kino didn't know, his father never told him whether or not he told other's so that Kino could return safely, without the villagers attacking at him, though Kino would soon find out, should he enter Sunagakure and be forced to fight. He was prepared, though he hoped it wouldn't come to that. He wore a cloak in case, and moved towards the village with caution, the hood covering his face, casting a shadow over it, preventing anyone from seeing. He had a red glow where his eyes should be, the sharingan, the third tomoe. People wouldn't recognize his eyes if his hood would be forced off him, hopefully that would throw them off, though he doubted it. He sighed, moving into the sandy borders of Sunagakure.

Ayumi walked aaround the village, bored with nothing to do. She has been here, in Sunagakure, for a while. She was planning to get back to Konoha soon. She was restless, often fidgeting around. She was missing her training sessions. She could feel that she was getting out of form, getting clumsier than usual. her reflexes wasnt as fast as it was before and she was getting worried. Ayumi sighed, her face emotionless. She remembered the last time she was in the country borders. She stared into space for a few seconds and her face slowly lit up, a smile forming slowly. She looked around and walked toward the village gates.
She quickened her pace as she walks, hoping to see someone there. She reached out for a tress of her long black hair and started to twirl it around her index finger. She lightly bit her bottom lip as she saw a figure, a smile slowly forming on her lips.

After another fight with his father, Itami has had enough. His heart racing and his blood boiling, he left in an act of defiance, desperate for some sort of freedom. At first he ran simply for the act of running, loving the way air filled his lungs but later on, when his head was beginning to clear and he started noticing his surroundings again, Itami realized he was nearing the borders of Suna. Slowing down and falling into a light jog, he decided not to turn around just yet. He was a ridiculously curious person to the point when it got him into serious trouble. Being quite sneaky though, he usually managed to get himself out of sticky situations just as fast as he fell into them.
He was in awe of how different the scenery was here, at the borders. Looking around, he focused his gaze on the trees, when he noticed slight movement in the distance. Running softer and quieter, Itami got closer, hoping not to get noticed in case someone dangerous was lurking around.
He saw a person who's face was covered with a hood, and a young black haired girl curiously aproaching him. Itami crouched and observed what looked more like a random encounter than a planned meeting. Hiding among the low bushes, he pulled out his kunai, just in case, and listened.

He continued walking, he was thinking. Should he really be leaving Konohagakure, right now? He could do it at any time in the future. Though thinking about it, if his sister died before Kino could see her, that was his fault, that he didn't go see her then. He sighed, he needed to face Sunagakure once more, one last time. Perhaps his sister would go with Kino, to Konohagakure, though it was unlikely seeing as she still had Kino's step mother. He continued on, there was sand beneath his feet, he was living footprints. ANBU from Konohagakure were most likely in pursuit of Kino, though there was a small chance he wouldn't get in trouble. He looked forward, and saw someone, smiling. She was a female, and appeared to be about a year under Kino's age. Kino raised an eyebrow, did he know this one? Why was she smiling? He lowered his eyebrow and moved forward, pulling down his hood, once close enough to where she could hear him he spoke: "Hello there, I am Kino." He said, introducing himself. There was someone else - Itami, though Kino couldn't see him. He was hiding in bushes nearby, there was a forest that connected to the sandy area Kino had just entered, Sunagakure not being far away either.

Ayumi watched as the figure moved a bit closer towards her, but not close enough that she could recognize him or her. She could tell that it was a boy from the build of his body and his clothes. She couldn't see his face though as it was covered with something that she couldn't tell. She squinted her eyes, peering at him, trying to see his face. Who is he? A Sand ninja? or maybe he is just visiting here...or maybe he's on a mission...or maybe he's... Questions started forming in her head. She shrugged her shoulders, none of my business. The boy moved closer and lowered his hood. "Hello there, I am Kino." he said. Ayumi looked at him and pulled her hand away from her hair, lowering it to her side. "Hi, I'm Ayumi." she said smiling at him.

Itami gasped in surprise as the figure lowered his hood. He recognized immediately in him Kinominki, his jounin team leader. A second later it was confirmed as Kino introduced himself to the black haired girl. Itami wasn't sure if he should come out or not. Despite his teacher being there, the identity of the girl still wasn't clear despite the fact that she stated her name. She could quite easily be a threat. But if she was someone to be feared, Itami was sure she would sense his chakra so he realized he really had no other choice but to come out of the bush he was hiding in.
He stepped forward, tense and prepared for any kind of trouble and moved towards Kinominki, his back never turning towards the girl.
"Hello Kinominki-sensei." he said quietly, keeping his eyes on the girl. Not being sure what to do next, he stood there, waiting what the other two would do. He relied solely on his team leader now, as he was older and more experinced in those kind of situations. If it came to a fight, he was sure to have Itami's back.

He heard a gasp, he became on guard as soon as he had heard it, though made no change in appearance. His eyes had flickered over to where the sound had originated, however he made no other change. He moved his eyes back quickly, he had seen a source of chakra hiding in the bush, different from the bush's chakra signature. Someone was hiding in it. He prepared for the worse, however remained still, talking to the female who had seemed to be wandering. "So, what're you doing here?" He asked, he was wondering why. She didn't have a headband on, Kino had his in his pocket. Kino was from Konohagakure, he had never seen this one from Konohagakure since he had moved there from a life as a missing nin. She may be a missing nin, it was a possibility, however Kino didn't see it as likely. Perhaps she was a Sunagakure shinobi, he was somewhat close to the village. There were a few different possibilities. Perhaps this is an ambush, perhaps the two here are missing nins, the one hiding in the bush may throw a few projectile weapons, thinking they have the element of surprise. He simply waited.
'Hello, Kinominki-Sensei.' He heard, it was Itami. Kino looked at the bush with the chakra signature and saw Itami climbing out of it. He sighed, slightly with relief, and slightly with the concern to as why he would be on the borders. Perhaps it's all just one big coincidence on how Kino met a stranger and Itami had been located nearby, hiding in a bush. He trusted his student, and wasn't too quick to cast his silent suspicions. "What brings you out here, Itami?" He asked, not bothering with hello, or heys. He simply wanted to find out what he was doing, it was possible he was leaving Konohagakure, which is why he wanted to know.

Ayumi kept still, she could feel that there was something wrong with the bush althought she didnt tell the boy, Kino. Whats wrong with that bush?...maybe this guy's companion is hiding there...or something...i hope he's not s missing-nin or something... she thought to herself and for a second felt afraid. "So what're you doing here?" he asked. She bit her bottom lip lightly. This was the sencond time that someone asked her that. "Um...well I'm locked out of Konoha..." she said, as memories came back to her. She sliped her left hand into her pouch and start to rummage around her belongings, looking for something specific.
"Hello, Kinominki-Sensei." a voice said. Ayumi turned to look at the owner of the voice. It was a boy around her age, probably a few years younger. So they know each other...I just hope that I'm not in trouble... She thought. The last thing she wanted was to get in trouble at a place other than Konoha. She stopped rummaging her pouch, her hand now resting in it, just in case something unexectedly happen, for example if either one or both of them would attack her, she would have a weapon ready; all she needed to do was pull it out. Nonetheless, she smiled at the boy. "Hi, I'm Ayumi." she said, introducing herself in the same manner as she introduced herself to Kino.

Itami nodded politely at Ayumi, but still kept a careful, ready stance, in case of attack. He heard her comment about being locked out of Konoha and thought that maybe she did something really terrible for that to happen to her. All the more reason to keep an eye on the girl. And besides, with her hand in her pouch, who knew what kind of weapon she could pull out.
With a quick glance at Kinominki, he replied to his question: "I went for a run and lost in thought managed to come all the way here."
He rearranged the truth a bit, not wanting to get into his personal issues, especially with a stranger standing a few meters away. "What about you?"
He looked closely at the jounin now, seeing his Konoha headband was missing. Subconsciously reaching with his hand at his own, around his neck, Itami wondered what was going through Kinominki's head. Was he leaving Konoha? He heard some rumors that he wasn't originally from it anyway. Maybe he decided to bolt again; move to another land.
Furrowing his eyebrows in confusion, Itami focused his attention back at Ayumi.

The girl, Ayumi, began to mention how she was locked out of Konohagakure. "Why were you locked out? How are you locked out?" He would say, raising an eyebrow and the sign of curiosity grew all over Kino's face. He wasn't making a trick face to pretend to look interested, he was actually curious to as why she would be, and how, locked out of Konohagakure. "Are they refusing to allow you to go back into Konohagakure? Perhaps I could take you there, and help you enter the village once more?" He asked, still wondering how one could get locked out of a village.
He then looked over at Itami, who had just answered his question. "Ah, alright then. I am out here visiting someone," he said as he looked over at Ayumi once more. "though it can wait if you would like my assistance to get back into Konohagakure, Ayumi." He finished, then looking back at Itami. "By the way, it is rude not to introduce yourself after someone introduces themselves." Kino said. Itami had seemed to be slightly worried about something, he tried to guess as he was talking to the two Konohagakure shinobi.
