He shakes his head the scalpel he grabbed earlier still in his right hand he tilts his head to the left now looking to the older and stronger man for something...

His eyes are the most defined thing about his species, that and his silver hair the edges seem to burn with flame a strange orange and red color blending together around a black slitted pupil.

He glances down to the wooden stand and with a sudden movement stabs the scalpel into the wood and begins carving..kanji simple first grade kanji is being written.

Shouten watches as the child tilts his nose up in disgust, eh he is right the man probably wouldn't even make a good appetizer.
He crouches seeing him begin to carve into a piece of wood, a slight look of curiosity as he see the first grade kanji, the boy obviously not even having the slight bit of schooling.
Shouten chuckles a bit, his words not the nicest but he speaks bluntly what goes through his head, "Aw look the little thing is stupid..So what am I gonna call ya mummy man? Ya need a name.

The boy's eyes narrow in rage the scalpel being driven through the word forcefully at the end of the final symbol leaving a nice finish.

'Shanks' it reads, the name of the boy sitting beside the heir to the Rikudo.
The eyes should serve as a warning, the race of the boy should be common knowledge not many of their powers are known but the race of the boy...

He is obviously a young Destruction Lord one who has yet to unlock all of his demonic prowess...but with training...and nurturing....the boy could be a force to be reckoned with..

Shouten glances at the wood for a moment reading what is written, sadly though with the boys damaging of the board the S is broken off completely, a small crack between the N and the K, "Shanik? Huh, I like that name.
The man stands up, the boys race unknown to him honestly for the fact he does not care to keep up with all the clans of the world, he honestly thinks the boy is just a fucked up test subject, lord knows he has seen many during his time here with Osore, Monty makes the best creation, some that Shouten is currently trying to replicate.
Shouten begins walking to the outskirts of the village hoping the boy still follows him, "Ok come on Shanik, I wanna see something.
The man now leading them to the training pits near the edge of the village, he wants to see if this boy will be worth taking under his wing to help survive in this fucked up world, if he has no potential at all then it is defiantly gonna be boring, lets hope he can surprise him Shouten thinks.

They reach the pits, pools of lava around them as they stand on the largest land mass at the fore of the pits, "Ok here is the deal, I want ya to come at me and try to kill me, let's go chop chop." The man says wanting to see this as fast as possible, should the boy fail the test he is going in one of the magma pools to be put out of his misery.

Shanks eyes narrow as Shouten misreads his name, he lets out a soft growl his frame standing now as Shouten beckons for him to follow.

He grips the wooden plank now in his right hand which he be lifts up over his shoulder.

His path as he follows Shouten leads him to a strange pit, his eyes flicking around in interest as he leaps down into it avoiding the magma that surrounds them giving them small wary looks and beginning to growl ferally in the back of his throat.

He stops five feet from Shouten and hears his words, he doesn't hesitate after that and with the activation of his Level 2 he dashes forward a loud monstrous roar coming from him the board that is three feet in length being swung downward towards the man's chest with the child's thirty strength and twenty-nine speed the scalpel sticking out of the end making for a more dangerous weapon.

He knows not why Shouten told him to try and kill him, but he doesn't really need to be told twice...he just hopes the much stronger man isn't intent on killing him and this is more a rite of passage to join the man's pack.

Shouten laughs openly tilting his head back as the child bursts into action, if anything he has the style of an outright berserk killer, not a pussy who holds back waiting for battle terms, the thrill of battle and the hunt seeming to control the boy even in the face of someone who could openly slaughter him.

The boy having surprising skill for his age which causes a smirk to form on Shouten's face, a slight motion with his left hand sweeping forward grabbing the board in his firm grip, his right leg lifting only to move in conjunction to his motions, the forward thrusting of his foot set to smash the sole of his shoes into the boys chest, the man not really holding back as this will not cause extreme injuries but is bound to hurt like a bitch.

The board is caught and the boy's eyes widen further not in surprise but growing rage as he's kicked backwards, he lands skidding across the ground his heel coming inches from the lava pit his fingers curling and clawing into the loose soil.

He doesn't even glance backwards before he charges forward again another roar escaping his throat his arms swinging forward as he charges the demonic roar echoing throughout the area his eyes blazing red as the boy fully goes out for blood the pain in his mid-section being ignored.

His eyes take in the form of the man and the form of his now stolen weapon with comes up with a small plan in his savage mindset.

The boy recoils, Shouten's smirk widens as the boy rushes back to him, he is all bloodlust and no tactics, at this rate Shouten is gonna break something, lets see what happens if he changes it up a bit, Shouten's form lowers swiftly his right palm upon the ground, the zero gravity zone now active as the area around blurs, the lava in the pools starts to ascend slightly, the boys form now set to ascent as his momentum is all that carries him forward his legs running on air in place, the lava rising from the pools making a truly hellish look at the flying lava now filling the air, Shouten however manipulates his own gravity field keeping him upon the ground as he stands, a few steps to his right has the boy now fly past him on his left flank, the board sweeping towards the boys stomach, the make shift blade pointed away from the boy.
Whether true impact is made or if it is blocked the purpose goes through, the force created by this alone causes the boy to now fly faster and higher into the air now going straight, Shouten now yelling upwards if all goes good up to this point, "Ok your a beserker, that's clear now use your head and try to get out of this!"
He waits to see how the boy handles this, any higher and when the jutsu ends he will have a very feral pancake for dinner.

The boy's frame is affected by the gravity almost instantly not knowing of the man's abilities, he however doesn't pause as his momentum still carries him forward his eyes flicking to the man's frame and his hands come up parallel with the top of his stomach the board being grasped in his right hand his left hand gripping the wrist of the man his body being swung with the momentum carrying him upwards his head coming up next to the man before with a rough tug forward while gripping the man's wrist and the board he pulls his body forward while swinging his lower body forward his knee's coming up to tuck into his chest before he shoots his feet forward the grip on his wrist tightening as he intends to kick the man as hard as he possibly can

He really hates feeling helpless, he hates being held down and he hates feeling weightless.

His race respects strength, his race relies on strength, a human cannot be allowed to best him so simply through some...some....STUPID MAGIC TRICK!!!!

Shouten smirks as the boy improvises and grabs his arm and uses it to still be in range, the kick comes at him as he catches the foot in his right palm which sweeps forward to be in the path.
Using his own gravity manipulation he jumps causing the man to shoot into the sky with less than zero gravity causing him to now be 100 yards in the sky in an instant as he cause them to halt there, his right hand jerks to the right as he sweeps his right leg forward attempting to impact the boys left side, should impact be made he will keep kicking just to see how durable the boy is if he remains holding him, but if he lets go then with his captured leg Shouten with a spin send shim flying down to the ground at a considerable speed, the constant upwards push of the gravity able to soften the blow but he is most likely gonna get a good bump on his noggin.
