Genjutsu {P, NK}

Kino was silent. He was walking through the streets of Konohagakure, down the dirt paths. There were buildings to the side, multiple homes and shops. He was wandering through Konohagakure thinking. Space-time Ninjutsu was beginning to be a bore, perhaps it had been time to take up a new interest. There were many options, he had already mastered the art of Ninjutsu. There was also Taijutsu, as well as Fuinjutsu. He knew a few other specialities as well. He was thinking. He had many options though only needed one. He simply sighed and began to remember his morning.


He had gotten up quite recently, about half an hour ago. He had gotten out of bed, someway anyone does, usually by throwing off the blankets and standing up for that first moment of the day. He turned on the lights every morning so that his eyes could adjust from being used to the dark, to getting used to the light. After that, he would normally make his bed. He preferred to keep it nice looking in case he had.. guests at some point in the day. Kino would then stretch, and making snapping sounds due to his bones. This often made him somewhat more energetic and less tired, though he had no idea as to why. He would then get dressed, today he had worn a black sleeveless T-shirt under a large cloak. The sleeveless shirt had used to be a T-shirt, until he had the sleeves torn off. He couldn’t remember as to why, he figured it had something to do with being in battle and they got in the way. Kept him cooler with the sleeves off, though. He also wore dark colored pants, they were black and somewhat similar to jeans. He put on a belt, not to hold up his pants no, but to hold the scabbard that his Katana blade was sheathed inside to. He often kept it around him, mainly for purposes of battle. Should he be caught off guard and without weapons, that would be quite troublesome for Kino.



After getting dressed he grabbed the special cloak he wore often, and carried it. It was a cloak that had shown that Kino was a member of the Pyua-Hisaki Organization. Kino had created the organization, mainly to help better defend the five great nations, and the more minor ones.



He headed, with his cloak folded up under his arm, to his kitchen. He placed the cloak on his table, and moved on into the kitchen. He opened a cabinet, it had multiple plates and bowls stacked up upon each other in a manner in which they would not fall. Kino grabbed one of the bowls, the stack of them were not disturbed and they stayed where they were, all minus one, which Kino had just grabbed and put on his counter. He then dragged out a gold colored box. It was his favorite cereal brand. It was a honey coated cereal, it had a bit too much sugar, though it got Kino up in the morning.



After breakfast, he put on his cloak and began to wander about Konohagakure.

Hikarishi woke up and went through his normal routine, only different, he seemed to be the same person but something was eating him on the inside, the death of Ousawa, something that only two other people would know about. He would step into the shower and cold water would run over him slowly turning hot.

Hopping out of the shower he would look for his clothes finding the ones he was looking for he, blue shirt and black shorts. He did not bother with breakfast he was not that hungry today. So he would head out of the house and look at things around town.

Kino continued to travel down the dirt paths of Konohagakure. It was a semi nice day, somewhat cloudy. The clouds nearly surrounded the sky, if not for a small part where the sun shined through. It was slightly windy, there was a nice cool breeze which seemed to block off any heat coming from the sun.


As he continued to walk he noticed Hikarishi, another member of the Uchiha. Technically he could be considered a family member, though Kino never really saw that. He was also a student of Kino's, an unofficial one. Kino had a total of four students, if he had anymore he had forgotten about them. He had Mezurashii, a female who was older than Kino though still a genin, she was sixteen. Itami, he was a little younger, probably around the age of eleven or twelve, same with Nakara. Those three were on Kino's genin squad, Hikarishi however was an unofficial student, who wasn't on Kino's squad.


"Hikarishi, morning." He said, somewhat plainly. He was still somewhat tired. "How have you been?" He asked. It had been a while since he had last seen his student, a week or so in fact. He had first met Hikarishi when he screamed he wanted to be stronger. When Kino heard about that he pulled a scarf over his head and called himself a missing nin, then beat the shit out of the boy.

Hikarishi had closed his door and headed into town. He decided to look around the weapons shop, even though he had no money on him, he saw some pretty cool looking weapons and some that looked like they were designed to kill. He had walked out of the shop when he heard a familiar voice call out to him he turned and he saw it was Kino he thought back to the first time they had met, he had just gotten the shit beat out of him by some teenagers which activated his second tomoe in his sharigan when he had screamed out that he needed to be stronger and kino had shown up with a scarf pulled across his face and claiming that he was a missing nin who was there to kill him and had proceeded to kick his ass which activated his third tomoe in his sharigan after which kino had taken him on as his student but he had a genin team of his own so he was an unofficial student, the one part that he remembered the most was the hot nurse that had taken care of him.

"Hey Kino I have been good. You? he asked as he looked around at the shops. That was when he saw it, the most elegant thing a man could wear, a suite that was white and had black borders, it had pants and a shirt The pants fit like normal pants while the shirt ended just where the abs started and circled back up to end at the Pectoral muscles the pants did fit like normal pants but they rode up on the waist a little bit and V-ed down to normal pants line. It was designed to hug the muscles and he decided that he must get a closer look at it "Ill be right back Kino." Hikarishi said as he walked off to inspect the sexy two piece man suite.

he walked inside and began walking around it he saw that it was just his size "Mam how much for this fine suite?" he asked in all seriousness. "That thing....Take it." she said with a look of disgust on her face. "Thank you mam!" he said as he picked it up and walked out with it. Sliding on the top he felt more like a man a smile grew on his face as he made it back to kino. "look what i got kino!" he said happy as a pig in mud.

Hikarishi had come out of a shop, presumably it held weapons and such. Kino thought for a second, he could use a few new, good weapons. He had none. He only had a Kunai that he had gotten from the fight with Hikarishi. He sighed. He began to think of a weapon he would enjoy. Perhaps a scythe? Not too many shinobi actually used scythes, it would be something rather new. No.. maybe a simple Katana blade, most shinobi had a Katana, it was common. No, perhaps that was too mainstream among Shinobi. He could always stock up on Kunai knives and Throwing Needles, also known as Senbon. Senbon were rather useful, from what he could gather, they were used to throw silently at a target, and hit vital organs. The rather preferred tool for assassinations. Kunai Knives were the second most common, if not the most. He had seen quite a few shinobi wielding these small, though dangerous tools. He sometimes had seen people use Explosive tags in combination with the Kunai. There were a few ways to do a Kunai and explosive tag. The common way was just tying string to both and letting the explosive tag follow the Kunai knife. Another way was to wrap the tag around the Kunai knives handle, allowing for the tag to be more silent, rather than flapping in the wind. This would cause quite the surprise for a target. There were more weapons to choose from too, he would have to go through a long list before deciding on which weapon he would truly want to buy, he would want the perfect one, of course. He was sure everyone wanted the perfect weapon, though he doubted people ever got the weapon they oh so craved for. Kino was rather determined however, to find a nice little weapon for himself... perhaps that was it, maybe he could be a weaponist. It would certainly be a bit more useful than space-time had been in the past. His speed would be useful as well, currently he was quite fast, faster than most Jounin in Konohagakure at least. He was only assuming, though throughout the spars he had been in, his speed was superior.



‘Hey Kino, I have been good. You?’ He heard Hikarishi ask. Kino’s train of thoughts broke, he somewhat immediately forgot about what he was thinking. “Oh, I have been fine as well. How’s your training going, Hikarishi? Learn anything of use?” He asked. He began to think, maybe it was time to get into another training session with Hikarishi. The last one was a bit time consuming, and it had wasted a bit of Kino’s energy, though now he had more energy to waste due to the training he had been doing. Hikarishi seemed slightly distracted, when Kino looked over to what Hikarishi was looking at, he was a rather.. unique outfit. He was slightly weirded out by the outfit, ‘I’ll be right back Kino’ Kino heard, looking over to Hikarishi and watching as he went in, to presumably buy the outfit. As soon as he saw that, he settled it. No training session with Hikarishi anytime soon. Not until he could walk by him and know he wasn’t wearing the outfit. He sighed, figuring he was going to come out wearing that, or come out with it in a bag..


Kino began to walk away, beginning to think about his new goal to become a weapon specialist.. then he began to think. Weaponry would require too much work, and would also require for Kino to actually pay cash. He had enough trouble with bills, a weaponist right now simply wouldn’t do. He hadn’t the cash to buy weapons, certainly not the high pricing weapons. He sighed, the cheap weapons which didn’t cost that much, would just break way too easily. He couldn’t be a weaponist apparently..



He began to think of a new specialization, when he had heard Hikarishi’s voice saying ‘look what I got Kino!’ He sighed, and dared himself to turn around and look at the horror. He noticed the boy wearing the top of the outfit, “Good for you.. I guess..” He said, wondering what other people were thinking about this situation.. “He looks like a fucking idiot..” A voice said inside him. It was an old friend, Takishino. “Yep.” Kino replied in his head, none of this could be heard by Hikarishi, he was somewhat thankful for that.



“Anyways, about your specialization situation, Kino,” Takishino said, referring to the fact that Kino had wished to learn a new specialization, and leave Space-time Ninjutsu behind. “Perhaps you should try one of the more basic specializations, many go for Taijutsu, even if basic. I’d advise you go with that.”

But no, Kino didn’t want Taijutsu, despite it being similar to weaponry and more melee, he felt it just wasn’t right for him. He didn’t have too much strength, after all. He only had speed, his physical strength was quite below average. “No, Taijutsu isn’t right for me, thanks anyways.” He said, then sighed, both in his head, only Takishino and the other voices could hear Kino.


“Perhaps Genjutsu then?” Another voice said, Gorin. He hadn’t talked to this one too much, the voice was rather unfamiliar at first, it had Kino thinking for quite some time.

“Genjutsu..” He said, beginning to remember the basic instructions for Genjutsu. He could break Genjutsu quite easily, due to the sharingan, and detect it as well. Hell, he could even tell when other people were under genjutsu. Uchiha were mainly for Ninjutsu, due to their copying techniques, though pretty much all Uchiha had shown skill in Genjutsu. The sharingan could even be used for Genjutsu, seeing as he had one technique that had been classified as Genjutsu, and was used through the sharingan. Genjutsu: Sharingan.



“Yes, I think Genjutsu would be a fine ‘offense’” Gorin continued. “Illusions and all that shit, after all.” He said. Kino often found these voices, even Takishino at times, to be annoying, though today they were quite helpful.

Hikarishi heard what kino had to say and could tell by the look on his face that he didnt want him there at this point in time. "Well i have one more thing i can do." He said as he pulled out a summoning scroll. Opening the scroll he bite his thumb and write his name on the first slot. Performing the Summoning jutsu he would slap his hand on the ground and 'POOF' a chicken would appear, the chicken would look like a chicken in every way even in size, "Bawk B-B-Bawk Hello my name is Zyzer. I see you have decided to summon the MIGHTY POWER OF THE Bawk CHICKENS!!!! Good Choice Now which one summoned me?" Zyzer would wait for the one who summoned him to raise his hand "and what is your name?"

Upon hearing the Chicken Zyzer speak Hikarishi would Raise his hand "My name is Hikarishi Oh Great and Powerful One." He said looking to kino and a what the fuck look on his face. "Kino i now have a cool chicken summon...Oh and i made my own jutsu and i would like you to be the first one to use it, you see i made if for my team and i need to make sure its good enough for them." He finished looking at kino for his answer

Kino was slightly surprised when Hikarishi said he had learned something new, a summoning, he noted, as he watched with a what the fuck look on his face as a quite annoying chicken was summoned. "Hikarishi.. the fuck?" He said, an eyebrow raised, the other lowered down in it's normal position. He sighed, as the two talked among each other. He began to perform hand signs, and bit off some skin on his thumb, letting it bleed, only a drop. He slammed the palm of the hand which had a bleeding thumb onto the ground, immediately a cloud of smoke appeared with a poof sound effect. When the smoke cleared, Kino was standing there with a rather serious looking face, with his arms crossed. Next to him, was about an averaged human sized dog. It stood at four feet. He looked around. "Lemme show you a real summoning, boi." Kino said, looking at Hikarishi. "Who the fuck summoned me?" Fluffy said, looking over at Kino, "Fluffy, look boy." He said, pointing at the chicken. "Dinner, boy." He said.

Fluffy looked back at the chicken, then back at Kino. "Thanks then, it was worth stopping my fire hydrant time.." Fluffy said, then charged at the chicken at his full speed. He was presumably faster than a chicken. Kino imagined what Fluffy would do. Presumably Fluffy would begin by sinking his razor teeth into the chicken's neck, eating the meat of the chicken by starting from there. He knew for a fact that Fluffy didn't eat heads, too gross. He would watch, Fluffy got too close. A poof of smoke surrounded fluffy, and there was a sound effect too. When the cloud disappeared, as did Fluffy. He sighed. "That was Fluffy, by the way." Kino said, looking at Hikarishi, wondering what he was thinking. Kino smiled, hoping he was given a slight scare. Takishino was laughing in Kino's head, he seemed to enjoy this event.




Kino began to think of the capabilities of Genjutsu in his head. With Genjutsu Sharingan alone he had the ability to make someone fall unconscious, and much more. He could get information out of target's simply by looking them in the eye. Hell, he could get them to speak it for him if he wished. There were no true limitations in Genjutsu, it was incredible now that he got a chance to think about it. Most considered it to be one of the three more basic specialties, though after Kino got a look at it he saw it's true capabilities. He nearly let a smile show in the real world, though held it back. He began to wonder, perhaps he could do something involving Kirigakure with the use of Genjutsu.. no, he figured it improbable. Genjutsu could only cast Illusions, not review the past. He sighed, thinking about how useless reality was, to have life the way you want it, the only way possible to have a life like that is through Illusions, through Genjutsu.



"Anyways, Hikarishi, got to go for now. Hope to see you again sometime." He said, beginning to turn around and walk towards the library. He had settled on the fact that he would learn Genjutsu, as it was seemingly useful in Kino's mind. He was now going to be leaving Hikarishi, and head off on his own to research about Genjutsu. He was heading for the library to do research, he doubted he would need to check a book out for it, as he was a fast skimmer and he could get mostly any facts from the book from skimming.





Once Kino had arrived, he looked at the large building. He imagined it would have quite a few shelves for books. All lined up against the wall, covering the wall. Even some standing up, leaving a gap in between each other. When he went in it was what he had expected. He grabbed a single book titled genjutsu and began to skim through the pages. He noted all the colors in the library, they were dark. Dark brown shelves, dark red carpeting, and dark brown wooden furniture. It was also quiet. Perhaps this made people read easier in a way. Regardless of the colors, bright or dark, he began to read anyways. He had learned much from the book, much about Genjutsu itself, and soon had known it well enough to use in battle.
