Not surprisingly Kenchi blocked Rin's blade with his own, fairly big, sword. As the two clashed Rin saw Haru flank Kenchi trying to get into a better position and force him to fight on two fronts. It was good thinking, not something you'd expect from a random Genin. The boy sure had some sort of hidden potential he's yet to reveal. Kenchi also noticed this approach of his and pushed Rin's blade to give himself a chance to counter the boy. As in a battle of pure strength Rin would lose to Kenchi big time, he was pushed backwards a meter as well. Using this time his opponent would toss his blade into the air and perform the shadow clone technique creating a single clone, then immediately catching the sword again, not providing an opening for Rin to exploit that easily. The clone jumped at Haru and with the way he approached and knowing Kenchi's strength it looked problematic, so Rin decided to interfere. After quickly sheathing the ninjato he formed a single hand seal sending out earth nature charka into the floor. Lucky for him it wasn't some sort of synthetics, but a normal stone which he could reshape. Using the fact that the clone was in the air and most likely could not change the way it was descending Rin sent a stone spike out of the floor to impale the clone in the air, before it actually reached the boy. Now shifting his attention back onto the original Rin created two more spikes one protruding right from behind him, aimed to impale him through his right kidney and the second one a couple meters from his side not really meant to impale him, but sent into the air above the first spike in case he tried dodge it by jumping up. The spike technique was not too dangerous to someone like Kenchi, but in case he failed to react to them Rin would stop his attack before getting him hurt.

Regardless if his attacks were successful, the Chuunin knew the spikes would not be enough to make a challenge for his friend. And knowing his main strength was his techniques, Rin needed water as almost half of his technique arsenal was made up of water element techniques. There was no water around then, so he would need to make his own and there was only one technique he knew that could do that. While Kenchi would be dealing with his spikes, Rin would start performing the hand seal, preparing for his next move.

I'll be a good guy Greg and link to the jutsu I used. Also note that the spikes have only 50 health, 37 speed and 50 strength.

Haru would see Kenchi's clone jump into the air and prepare to strike his head. from the way Kenchi #2 set up the strike, it was likely to kill him if it made contact. Luckily, he was pretty high in the air, so Haru had plenty of time to dodge. He would do just that, twisting away from the kill zone of the clone's strike.
"Are you Trying to kill me?" He would shout as he dodged away, before he would see Kenchi's clone get nailed with a stone spike, deployed by Rin. Haru would then see Rin send a few more spikes flying towards Kenchi, which were dodgable, but still quite threatening. Then, Rin would start preforming hand signs, possibly for a high power jutsu.

Well, if he's pulling out the stronger moves, I might as well do the same. He thought, as he allowed the chakra to flow to his hands. He would then target Kenchi, if the spikes made contact with the clone, causing it to disappear. He would prepare to use his newest technique, Eight Trigrams: One-Hundred-Twenty-Eight Palms, Dashing towards his chosen target (The technique gives him +20 speed for the initial dash, as well as the flurry of blows that follow)at his top speed, and beginning his attack. In the case of him going after the original Kenchi, he would first strike with his left hand, aimed at the back of his neck, since the ANBU had his back turned to him.
The follow up strike would delivered by Haru's right hand, aimed at Kenchi's left hip. Each hit would have the effect of -10 chakra, though it could be regenerated if Kenchi escaped the attack. Haru didn't really expect his attack to damage him, he merely intended to buy time for Rin's technique, whatever it was.

Kenchi could hear Haru shout from behind him. A smile appearing on his face. "I am not trying to kill you. You must think, would a ruthless missing ninja show mercy in a battle?

Kenchi would watch as Rin sheathed his ninjato and formed a handseal. Seeing as this was a spar, Kenchi would allow the boy to peform the hand seal without any interference. Kenchi would stand and wait, soon a stone would emrge and be sent towards the clone Kenchi had created. The clone would be unable to maneuver mid air, so its fate was sealed. The spiked stone would impale the clone destroying it instantly.

Kenchi would stare at Rin. "I remember when you only knew one element. It seems now you have a few more tricks up youre sleeve." Kenchi would say to Rin. Just as a stone emerged towards the side of him. Kenchi would look towards the stone at the same time he would notice another approaching him from behind with the aid of his peripheral vision. Quickly he would formulate a plan to dodge the Projectiles. It was simple to say the least. Kenchi would place his sword at his side, he would then perform the body flicker technique, disappearing in a cloud of smoke. Both stones, uninterrupted would continue to travel along their respective paths. One passing slightly over the other just as it past the railings it would fall downwards perhaps to land somewhere in the village. Hopefully there weren't any unlucky villagers at the bottom. The second one would continue forwards the only thing in its path at the moment was Rin himself. Hopefully there was an off switch for his attack.

Kenchi however, would re-appear behind Rin in an instant, in the midst of the boy performing handseals. It was unlikely that he knew that Kenchi was behind him, due to the rapid movement the body flicker allowed him to act with. Kenchi would shove the boy forwards violently (let's say about 65 strength), into the path of the stone. Behind the stone, Kenchi could see Haru approaching. He was in some sort of battle stance. Whatever it was, it didn't look pretty. Kenchi would chuckle mentally. Rin appeared to be screwed at the moment. If he was somehow able to cancel his stones from hitting himself, he would then have to deal with whatever attacks Haru had intended to aim at Kenchi. Hopefully things went smoothly and Kenchi did not have to worry about Rin being impaled. Though he had a technique to stop the stone from hurting Rin if it came down to it.

If the moment came that it appeared the stone would impale Rin, Kenchi would swipe a wave of chakra infused wind towards the stone splitting it in half. He would then direct the wave upwards so that it would not harm the person behind it, Haru.

[Sorry, I have my own vision of the situation, so I'll screw around with your post a bit. Oh and the spike behind your did not fly. The one from the side did, but from behind only protruded from the floor to impale, but wasn't sent flying. Well, this is a friendly spar so I hope no bad blood will come between us from this]

Kenchi noted after Rin's first spike destroyed his clone. "I remember when you only knew one element. It seems now you have a few more tricks up your sleeve." Rin smirked "You bet!" Reacting to the two more spikes appearing around him Kenchi quickly hid his sword and performed a hand seal for a technique. Rin could guess what kind of technique it will be, but he was out of time to react. His best bet was to finish the last hand seal and activate his own jutsu. With a poof of smoke his friend disappeared from his physical sight, escaping the spikes, but Rin's inner eye could still see him and he knew where Kenchi would reappear. Lucky for him, when Kenchi did emerge the technique was already complete, and not a moment too soon. After spitting out the resource, a roaring torrent of water surrounded the boy blocking Kenchi's thrust at the same time taking Rin away from the danger. Taking the flow to ride back a bit before turning around again the Chuunin perform a couple more hand seals shaping some of the water around him into sharp needles and launched them at his opponent. Hopefully this also provides an opening for Haru...

Sorry, sleepy, short, probably made mistakes too.
Nice touch with the spikes and using them against me, though.

As Haru watched Kenchi body flicker behind Rin, he cursed under his breath. This had ruined his opening. Before he began to slow, however, he would see Rin create water from nowhere, before riding the tide out of Kenchi's striking zone. Haru decided to keep up his approach on Kenchi, since teleporting behind Rin only put him a few feet away from his original position.

He would then see Rin fire off his water needles at Kenchi, and tried to exploit this. He would keep up his charge at Kenchi, (Retaining the +20 speed boost, since he is still in the initial move towards the opponent) Preparing his chakra at release points in his hands.
He would aim a strike with his right hand, striking at a pressure point on Kenchi's right shoulder, before sending a jab with his left hand aimed at the man's right elbow, and finally, another jab with his right hand targeting his right hip, effectively blocking the chakra flow in that part of his body, if all of the blows make contact. (Again, each blow has the effect of -10 chakra, which is regenerated by +10 per post after receiving the blow)

Just as Kenchi was about to shove Rin, water formed around the boy. Protecting him, it was almost as if he had known Kenchi's location somehow. Kenchi did not remember Rin being a sensory ninja back in their Kirigakure days. Though of course that was when they were younger or as some may put it inexperienced.

Kenchi had thought about using one of his lightning techniques, with that he could easily let the chidori current flow through the water eletrocuting the boy. Though that jutsu was a bit harsh and Kenchi had yet to use it in real combat, so the damage it could do was uknown to him. Instead Kenchi would watch as Rin rode the wave away safely. Awaiting to see what Rin would do next. He would watch as needles emerged from the water. They were then shot at him, at a pretty impressive speed. Kenchi would prepare to attack swiping three waves of chakra in fused wind into the air. The technique would throw some of the needles off course and also deflect some of them away. Kenchi would breath a sigh of relief mentally.

Though he had forgotten about something, rather someone. He could hear the approaching footsteps with the aid of his senses. He would direct his attention towards Haru, but the boy seemed to have become significantly faster. The boys first blow would connect, striking him on his right shoulder. Kenchi would cringe slightly, the attack did not hurt him physically, but it felt as if something had been taking away from him. Kenchi would watch as Haru prepared for more assaults. Figuring it best not to let the boy continue, Kenchi would side step the next attack which seemed to be aimed to strike his left arm. With his left hand, Kenchi would reach out grabbing Harru's wrist as it was suspended in the air. Next he would pull the boy towards him using all of his strength and lift his left boot quickly separating him from Haru. If all went as well, Kenchi's foot would make impact with Haru's chest. Kicking him towards Rin. Kenchi would make sure to use only a fraction of his strength (about 35).

Without too much trouble Kenchi deflected the needles with some sort of wind chakra waves. Rin has never seen him do those before, but he wasn't too surprised to see his friend use a move like that. The young Chuunin started hand seals for his following moves while remembering their fight with Xyxer back in their home the Hidden Mist. In those days both of them were a lot weaker, Kenchi could barely swing a blade and Rin did not have any decent techniques forcing him to make his weapons in the fight from normal kunais and wires. After returning back to reality Rin noticed Haru approach his friend in some sort of Gentle Fist stance - though he did not know their techniques, he had read about their fighting style in general and it was safe to assume that if the attack fully landed Kenchi would be in a trouble to say the least. Surprisingly to Rin, one strike actually did land, but Kenchi reacted immediately after that. Not wasting any time Rin finished his technique summoning three water clones next to him using the roaring torrent as his resource again. This is where things will start to get intense!

Assuming Kenchi pulled and kicked Haru at Rin, one of the close would emerge from the flow to grab the boy mid air. It would carry him a few meters behind Kenchi turning into a semi-living shield for the boy if Kenchi was to target them. If the boy escaped Kenchi's attempt then the same clone would still jump forwards, but instead of catching the boy it would head for the opponent with a dagger in its hand, aiming for his left shoulder. This was mostly to serve as a simple distraction. At the same time as the first close jumped, the other two would both jump to the sides from the flow while already performing hand seals, as Rin himself would escape through the back. The now empty seated flow would form into a giant dragon head heading to ram its jaws at Kenchi at its full speed. Rin would slam his hands into a snake hand seal which was needed to activate his most powerful technique so far. Fusing Earth and Water inside him he would make vines from the ground appear right under Kenchi and try to grab his ankles before he could escape his dragon torrent. At the same time one of the clones would activate the Earth Flow Spear technique again, summoning four spikes from all sides of Kenchi all aiming for his heart, as the second clone performed the Water Needle technique again, summoning four needles from the dragon's eye to shoot at Kenchi from now almost point blank range. Rin's gray eyes observed as a vortex of furious elements would engulf Kenchi if he did not manage to escape. He was fairly sure most of the attacks would not harm him too much, others he would tone down if he felt contact.

Using pretty much half of my techniques in this:
Water Dragon Riding, Water Clone, Earth Flow Spears, Water Needles, Nativity of a World of Trees

(Wow... Just... Wow... I don't know how to top that, so I'm gonna stay out of your way)

Haru felt a pang of satisfaction as he made contact with Kenchi, before replacing it with disappointment, as he caught him by the wrist. As Kenchi pulled Haru in close, he would instinctively try to headbutt him, before Kenchi would kick him back. Haru would not have enough time for him to figure out how to get out of that situation, so the kick would make contact, pushing him away, as well as winding him. He would fly backwards, before being caught mid-air by Rin.
"Thanks, Rin." He would say, as he looked below them. There are four of him? He thought for a moment, before realizing they were clones.
As they land, Haru would get back to his feet, readying himself for another rush at Kenchi. Then he saw Rin's attack.
So many moves were used at once, Haru couldn't keep track of them all. He recognized the earth flow spear technique from before, preformed by one of the clones, as well as some sort of vine attack, and a water dragon move, among other things. He stood watching, mouth agape, as this scene unfolded.
"Holy shit." He would say, deciding to take a break, to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. "Talk about overkill!" He'd mutter under his breath. He couldn't figure how Kenchi was getting out of that one, but if he did, Rin might not have much chakra left to defend himself.

Kenchi would watch as Haru was sent flying backwards just to be caught by a cloned form of Rin. At the same time as the first clone moved to catch haru to other clones would leap forwards peforming a string of handsigns. Kenchi would observe as Rin stayed behind. It appeared at this moment Ken would have to use some of his own techniques to even the playing field a bit. The Shukufuku neclace which hung around his neck had already latched onto his skin in the beginning of the spar and during this entire spar Kenchi's chakra had been flowing through the gem, storing some of his chakra within the item and Now seemed like the perfect time to use it. The Gem would begin to fluctuate chakra into the entire body of Kenchi ( 20 Chakra, Kenchi's total chakra is 104) .

Now things seemed to take a devastating turn. The calm body of water would transform into a dragon and begin to rage towards Kenchi. Kenchi would attempt to move, but his legs would not agree at the moment. Kenchi would dash to the right his right leg getting away without any problems where as his left leg seemed to be stuck, wrapped in veins. Kenchi would stand upright his body relaxed at the moment, he did not seem to be worried at all, rather calm one would say. He observed that the dragon was approaching him at a crazy spead, though calculated that he would have a few seconds to react which would be all he needed. Now had the dragon been released at a closer range things would have been tricky to say the least. Kenchi could feel the earth beneath him changed, looking down he noticed a spiked rock rising from the ground in an attempt to pierce him. Kenchi could not move away from the attack, nor did he need to. He would raise his arms to both sides of him releasing a current of lightning. "Chidori Nagashi!!" (Chidori Current) Kenchi would shout. The spiked earth near him would be reduced to rubble before it had even been able to make contact. At this same moment, needles would be launched at him at a deadly point blank range. Kenchi would remain still his eyes a reflection of the needles as they entered the two meter range. Kenchi would quickly twist around, his left leg breaking the vein which held it. He would now dash to the right at an inhuman speed. Though due to the closeness that the needles were shot at him one of them managed to pierce the shoulder of Kenchi slightly. His jounin attrire cushoning most of the damage.

Assuming the dragon now was the only thing coming towards him. Kenchi had no real technique that could rival the beast. Performing a lightning based attack would be suicide and stupid. There seemed to be no real way out out of this at the moment and whom better to call upon than his Ogre friend, but first he would need to create room between them aswell as a distraction.

Kenchi would perform the necessary handsigns to create two separate Shadow clones beside him. He felt the need to create more, but he did not want to put too much strain on his chakra. The first clone would swipe three times sending three waves of wind towards the large dragon. One aimed above the dragon given the chance that it would rise. The second aimed directly towards the dragon aimed to strike it directly and the third aimed below the dragon just in case it attempted to limbo under the other attacks. The second clone would remain still gaurding Kenchi just in case any incoming attacks would approach him.

Kenchi would remove the needle from his shoulder, a small sharp pain resulting in this action, next he would leap backwards now his back 4 meters from a railing. He would remove a summoning scroll and begin the ritual to summon his partner. In a small cloud of smoke the beast would appear standing upright it would look towards Kenchi peering over its shoulder. "Hello Ugglok." Kenchi would say in a friendly tone. The beast would ignore Kenchi completely instead it would stare ahead at the battle unfolding in front of him. "Your mean!!" Kenchi would say in the tone of a child. The Ogre would look towards him for only a fraction of a second, it was obviously angry as usual.

"Why have the gods cursed me." The Ogre would mutter. In a depressed tone.

Kenchi would not respond instead he would lean against the railing behind him. It was strong and he had confidence that it would not break,sending him plummeting him to his death. Kenchi had enough strength and stamina to fight longer, though he was not sure if it was so for the boys. If they were to become tired he would perhaps talk to them both on the chance of that happening. Though it seemed both boys were incredibly talented, they had potential to become the strongest duo within the entire village.

[It's all good Ken, though I'm not quite sure why you would summon the Ogre after you have repelled my attack, if you intended to let us rest and talk... it kind of forces me to keep fighting or give you the upper hand xD]

Before the elemental typhoon would drown Kenchi a strong lightning surge could be seen, the lightning completely destroying earth spikes. A moment later Kenchi's clone cutting the water dragon in half with the same wind technique he used before. The attack seemed to have been repelled, although Kenchi caught one of the water needles - the least deadly of all the attacks used. All this time Rin followed his friend's movement with his inner eye, easily deducing which ones were the clones after the original performed a summoning bringing out some sort of unseen beast into their little arena. The beast was bigger than a normal person, had white snake-like skin, black oiled hair and a very unpleasant face with a monstrous mouth. Kenchi himself looked relaxed, leaning against the railing on the edge of the tower.

His clones were between him and Rin. Deciding to push on the assault, Rin sent the two clones next to him, to keep Kenchi's clones busy, though he was fairly sure they would be no match of them they should at least provide an opening for him to get past them. Still with his hands in a seal, Rin lunged forward pouring some more chakra into the technique. Just as he was passing the clones he would grow some more vines to restrict their movement and give his own clones an edge. Unfortunately while his hands were bound he could not perform any other techniques. At least Haru could and hopefully he would seize this chance to attack.
