First off, no, fire does not spread that fast, especially on grass. Its grass, not oil. Try it I dare ya.

Secondly, by simply flicking a cigarette on grass, it will not suddenly set fire. Not even with oil will it happen. That is a movie thing, in real logic, and physics, it is impossible.

Thirdly, she could easily outrun it, even if it was possible. 31 speed is much faster than a normal human in our world.

Fourthly, if the grass was dead, and had no moisture, it would not be standing at all, it would be as flat as Sakura's chest.

Fifthly, Grass burns slowly, end of that. Dead or not. Dry or not.

Finally, you dont get to declare someone dead instantly, fire is a slow killer, even if she stood there calmly, waiting for the fire, the moment she catches fire she would be able to stop drop and roll, easily avoiding a death.

Before anyone bitches at me, Im simply helping out Orochihama.
