Family Dinner [Pri]

Samuru makes his way to Ichiraku's from the training field, however after his mothers words of him having to pay if he reaches there first has caused him to take up a more comical advance towards the establishment.
Slowly his body moves, his form moving in a mock slow motion as with every gradual step he is an inch closer to the establishment, still however a good 100 meters away as he looks back over his left shoulder and if his mother is behind him he speaks in a very slowed down mock fashion, "Haaaa....Haaaaa....I'm....goooooooonnnnaaaa....beaaaaaaat.....yoooooooou"
He now looks forward towards his destination still running slowly.

Akina grinned. This boy is such a ham. Is he really mine? Really? Her eyes lifted to the sky in a manner that almost paid reverence to the heavens. Viper...I should thank you. Such thoughts in front of her son caused her to blush slightly, but Samuru seemed too preoccupied in his game to notice, at least, this was her hope.

Seeing her boy's smirk, Akina decided to beat Samuru to Ichiraku's no matter what the cost. She swiftly passed him, but as she did so, she held out her hand in a manner that would make it collide with the back of Samuru's head, if he weren't paying attention.

Akina playfully stuck out her tongue, making a face at Samuru as she ran to Ichiraku's.

The boy continues his slowed run towards the establishment only to hear the wind pick up behind him, impact now on the back of his head which causes him to jerk forward tripping a bit as he hops upon his right foot a few times until actually regaining his footing.
He looks upwards seeing his mothers form racing past him, he now ceases his game and trails after her, letting her get there first.
If she indeed makes it there first he takes a seat to her right on one of the stools, he looks towards his mother now, "Gee willikers mother, you beat me!" he says in an old fashioned mock tone as if he feels back for losing, his grin extremely childish and fake.

Akina thought about temporarily becoming the worst klutz in the world, just so Samuru could win the little bet that had been made. After all, it was only fair that a son be nice to his mother every now and then, right? But, it was not in Akina's nature to lose, so she slid easily into a chair and waited for Samuru to appear.

Once he appeared, the woman would tell him to get what he wanted. She was laughing at his tone of voice that he used with her. He really could be a sweet boy at times, though she doubted he would ever let anyone he deemed as an outsider know that.

With a soft chuckle at his mothers reaction he returns to normal, well his version of normal around his mother.
Looking towards the noodle man he speaks, "One bowl of spicy chicken ramen please!"
Looking towards his mother he waits to see what she is getting, as he waits for their meal he begins spinning in his seat back and forth, his feet kicking slightly as he spins to the left, then to his right in full circles, the boy getting slightly dizzy but it entertains him for the time being.
His form now faces the counter as it wobbles a bit, his head rocking slightly due to the motions from earlier.

"I'll take the gyudon ramen, please." There was a small smile on Akina's face as she watched Samuru watching the people.

Once he starts spinning in his chair, however, Akina thinks of what to say to him. This is somewhat difficult, since she had been raised in such a strict house, and the only memories of her father seemed like a distant dream. I don't get men. The Hyuga men were proud, though the Uchiha are terrible losers. A little help, Viper? She knew he couldn't hear her, but thinking in such a way that reminded her of talking with her husband helped Akina process difficult things.

The waiter brought their bowls to them, and Akina thanked her softly for the food. "Itadakimasu." She said rather softly after placing her palms together. She wondered how much of the culture she knew growing up was alive today.

Still slightly wobbly Samuru leans forward, he grips his chopsticks snapping them as he begins to eat, the boy forgetting to thank the man for the meal before he starts eating which will most likely get him reprimanded by his mother due to lack of manners.
Although Uchiha men are stubborn, egotistical, power lusting block heads, how they are brought up really changes them.
Like with Samuru's father he had family he needed to protect, and was given responsibility early thus he never had time to think about himself when it came to things.
The boy slurps down his ramen, he forgets he is with his mother for the moment, his teachings on mannerisms being distant and no longer a forced habit like they were when he lived in Asgard.

Akina slowly slurped her noodles slowly, watching Samuru forget to thank the man, which she promptly gave him a slight sideways glance as she cleared her throat. "You forgot to thank the waiter for the meal," she whispered lightly, hoping no further action was needed.

She was trying to be patient with the boy. He was five, after all, so it was natural that he forget a few things here and there. She found her mind wandering to what Viper was doing. She wondered how she could be weak enough to miss him in this moment, but she guessed that there were times when she wanted the three of them to interact together more.

"Does it bother you that your dad and I haven't been around much?" The question was soft, meant for Samuru's ears only.

Samuru hears her words and stops, his mannerisms forcing a return as he stops slurping his ramen, he gulps a bit as he now slowly eats it properly.
"Thank you for the meal sir.." the boy says, quietly he eats his meal, keeping his manners now that his mother reminded him.
After a bit he hears her speak, by this time he has finished his noodles, his chopsticks released as they softly cling into the bowl, the boy staying silent for a few moments as he tries to gather his words and push back his more emotional thoughts, this being a very soft spot for the boy.
"Well, it's not like I don't miss you all, but I'm a man after all, we are not bothered by such things!"
He looks towards her with a false smile, only seen through by those who know him very well, the boy does not reveal how much he really does miss his family and how he never gets to see them, his father whom sits on the throne of god, his mother whom sits at his site, his bookworm of a sister who enjoys the eternal library, and his uncles who come and go, one moving to Sunagakure no Sato so it is harder for him to see him.
In reality, the boy barely has anyone in his life, which is the cause of his attitude cause he is left to his own development, always watching out for himself since no one else is there to.

Akina smiled as the boy remembered his manners. She watched him eat with gusto, and she decided to do the same with her noodles. She set the bowl down with a loud thud and exhaled deeply. She turned to Samuru, watching him carefully as he answered her question. The boy thinks he's a man... Her eyes stung with salty tears, but she managed to hold them back.

Looking straight into Samuru's face, Akina was overcome with rage, mostly directed at herself. His face was somber, but behind his solid eyes, Akina could detect a hint of the truth of her child's pain. I need to talk with Viper about this. Her body leaned forward, and she attempted to embrace her son. "Please," she said softly in his ear, "don't lie to me." She was going to talk with Viper about staying with her son for a while once she returned to Asgard.

"Is there any other dish you would like to order or anything else you would like to do?"
