Training in the Tower (Private/NK)
Sun Apr 28, 2013 1:18 am
So, Kuroda had decided to come to the Training Towers in order to do some training, it was a good time for it in his opinion, he was feeling as though he needed to learn some new techniques, or at least work to try and increase his chakra pool. In any case, he had arrived at the ground floor of the building, though this time he was equipmentless, as it had been stolen by someone a few days beforehand. It was odd, he felt...exposed without his scrolls and weapons. He had been trained in them since he was a child, he had learned how to use jutsu with them, how to seal them in scrolls, how to throw them as accurately as possible, and everything else about weapons, and yet, they had been taken from him when he was knocked unconscious, he had also woken up with a small pool of blood where something had pricked him on the arm. But, there was little he could do about that now, the thief had been long gone by the time he had come to, bruised and sore, but now, he was back at full heath. And now he was here to try training ninjutsu that didn't rely upon weapons to use, as he had none now, and probably wouldn't for awhile.
There had been a technique which he had been working on for some time now, one that purely utilized his Raiton element to fire concentrated bolts of electricity, ones that were nearly identical in appearance to Senbon needles, at an opponent. Yeah, he could work on that jutsu by himself at least, and with it in his arsenal, he could at least fight a bit if needed. With a sigh, he moved to one of the ground floor rooms, checking it carefully to make sure there was no one inside, he had made that mistake last time. If only he was a sensor, he could do it without needing to expose himself. Anyway, after checking the room, he entered, shaking his hands a bit as though to get his chakra moving. The room had a number of training dummies in it, as well as other such things used to practice.
So, with a determined grimace, he stood up and walked to the dummies, forming a single hand seal as he did so and charging the chakra in his right hand. As he made his progress a light blue flicker was seen, building around his hand, but, it wasn't solid, it was weak-looking, flickering in and out of presence around his hand. Nah, that wouldn't work, but still, he had to see what he could accomplish with it. With a quick swipe of his open hand, he aimed to fire his jutsu at the dummies. However, with the present power of the jutsu, he only managed to shoot a few bolts, and even then, they flickered out of existence after flying halfway to the targets. Kuroda huffed, Lightning jutsu always did require a lot of power, didn't they... Plopping down to sit cross-legged and formed the seal once again, holding this time to concentrate the chakra in his body to his hand in order to make the jutsu work. His eyes were closed in concentration as he molded the energy. Slowly the light returned to his hand, stronger this time, and not flickering so much as vibrating at high speed. Yeah, this was what he had been aiming for. Lightning projectiles that could pierce with an improved cutting edge, created by the rapid vibrations of lightning chakra. He opened his eyes and looked pointedly at the dummies, and then, with another swift slash of his hand he fired the jutsu at the ground of dummies, all while still sitting on the floor. From the light around his hand, fifteen bolts launched across the room, all senbon-like, and lodged themselves deep inside the targets.
One, two, three, four, five dummies were hit, and each let off a sizzling sound as the straw was baked by the shock from the jutsu. Even as the light faded from around Kuroda's hand, the bolts stayed in the dummies, continuing to fry them. Scorch marks appeared where they lodged themselves, and the straw threatened to catch fire, but before it did, thee bolts faded, the only evidence of them being the marks and the static that sparked from the dummies from time to time.
Standing, Kuroda looked at his work, satisfied. Good, so his theory had been correct, he could mold lightning to be that fine without it dissipating. Now he just needed to check what the effect on humans was, then he would have the jutsu nicely perfected. There was still that heavy feeling in his stomach from losing his prized weapons, but, aside from that, he was pleased about his training.
