Another day of training? (P, NK)

Kahen squinted his eyes at the group-of-three. Did no one just hear him? Or did they think he was in the mood for some sparring. He was in a coma state for two day and none of them knew about it. He was weak as is, and they probably all have gotten stronger. Kahen shook his head, and this guy apparently beat both of them, so he was definitely stronger. Kahen sighed. He might as well spar with them to see if they improved any. That's when he heard them say something about teaming up. Great! Kahen screamed in his mind. Why would want to be on a team with him. Kahen felt like a loser to them, just a imbecile. Well, he better just go with it.

"Teams?" He questioned as he moved forward a little, "Well, it doesn't really matter to me. Anyone that's on my team will end up losing because of me, but doesn't mean that we will. I just have a feeling." Kahen smiled at them, hoping to fool them into thinking he was kidding when in all actuality, he wasn't. During this entire time of listening to them, he didn't realize the other two was having a conversation. "Hideyoshi, you were in the hospital as well?" He questioned, being a little late on their conversation.

"Well, if we are going on teams. Then maybe we should let the female decide, since they think they rule over men," Kahen said, making a joke. Hopefully she won't get mad at him for this. Kahen gave himself a surprisingly look. His personality right now was all over the place, apart of him wanted to run away and hide, but another part of him wanted to stay with them and have that warm feeling of being with friends and joke with them. These feelings started to give him a headache.

"Don't say that, you are pretty strong have faith in yourself" she smiled at Kahen. She felt like he was struggling with his attitude, talking, pretty much most of his actions for some reason. He most of the time looked uncomfortable and awkward, maybe he was shy. He was pretty strong last time they sparred, she was sure he would again open up, forget about unnecessary stressing and do his best when the fight would start.

"How about I and Kahen form one team and you two become the other team." she pointed to Hide and Masaru. Ayumi wanted to team up with Hideyoshi the most, because he was recently injured and she wanted to make sure he'd be well defended but that would probably effect their performance in the spar in a bad way. Masaru would also be an interesting partner but she wanted to team up with Kahen for this time. "Unless Kahen doesn't want to be ruled that is." she smiled.

”You brought that on yourself.” Masaru said with a chuckle, when Ayumi had said that she wanted to be on his team. “But I agree with her. You shouldn’t say things like that, not even when joking. You ought to believe in your own strength. If you do not, who will then?” He told Kahen, with a serious expression on his face. While he suspected that Kahen, like Masaru himself, was at a disadvantage in a melee fight, due to the fact that their specialties were most effective while they were at a distance from the heat of the battle, so it was probably a good thing that they were on opposing teams. Masaru was not sure how skilled Kahen was with illusions, but he would have to watch out for anything that might contradict itself.

And for Ayumi, he would definably have to watch out for that Water Dragon Technique. And apparently, some boomerang of hers as well. Would she use the Mist Technique? While Ayumi would most likely have some way of finding her opponents inside the mist, Kahen most likely did not, so it would put her team at a disadvantage as well. But that left Hideyoshi as his partner. While Masaru had gotten faster since their last spar, he was pretty sure that Hideyoshi would still be able to reach speeds that Masaru would barely be able to see. Well, at least he hoped so, since the two of them were on the same team.

How should Masaru fight this battle? He had two puppets now, so that opened up a lot more than having just a single one. He could be offensive with one and keep another for the defense. However, that did not really take into account the fact that this would be a team fight. He had to think how they could best support each other. So the best course of action would probably be to have both of his puppets support Hideyoshi, while he tried to get in melee with their opponents, so that they could try to prevent them from using their best techniques. “Well, I’m fine with those teams. Hideyoshi, do you have any objections? If not, I suggest that the teams walk a bit away from each other, so that we can talk tactics.”

Deciding to answer Kahen first he would nod slowly and smile,"Yea...got into a spar with Ayumi and finally lost. The pain wasn't too bad, but then again i am kind of used to things like this. My reflexes are actually sharpened because i am always getting knives thrown at me on a daily basis. I have only reacted late once...and lets just say that was the day i never walked around," he laughed about it like it was all cool but deep inside he shuddered at the memory of it. It would seem Kahen had some self esteem issues and it was quite...sad in a sense. Shaking his hand he would smile to Kahen and pat him on the shoulder," Bro..you got to learn how to believe in yourself, otherwise you will fall. No one is perfect and in order to become the best you can be you have to push yourself and train harder," after speaking to him he would look at Masuma and Ayumi to try and figure out this team business.

From what it seemed there was two long ranged fighters, Kahen who's skills were unknown, and himself who could fight at any range he needed. Seeing how this was going to be a predicament he would sigh and scratch his head," Okay okay...think i have an idea. Kahen you and Ayumi are on teams and me and Masaru will be another team, this way they are at least balanced among abilities and ranges. Does anyone protest to this," if everyone was okay with this then he would proceed to walk off with Masaru to find out a good strategy. Knowing what Ayumi could already do was no problem, but the missing factor was Kahen. Looking at Masaru he would sigh," so what can you tell me about Kahen ability wise, like what can he do," he was curious to know what he was going up against. Better to be safe than sorry even in a spar where anything could happen.

A light gleamed in Kahen's eyes as a smiled came across his face. He never met people like these four and they all were truly something in Kahen's eyes. What each one said made his confidence rise. "Thank you guys, it means a lot to me. Even if it is just little words," Kahen said, making eye contact with each one of them. "Yes, I do need to push myself but I feel like I'm at a standstill anymore,".Kahen was never good at making friends and these three are starting make Kahen feel as they all will be close friends, even though he has barely spoken to any of them. Kahen then looked towards the sky as he remembered how past friendships failed.

Kahen brought his head back down when Ayumi said that they should be on the same team. Why would someone pick him over other people. Even though it confused him, he still was happy that someone chose him first. " I don't mind being ruled but are you-" Kahen stopped in the middle of his sentence, figuring it was better off not saying what he was going too say. Kahen nodded as he watched two walk of. Kahen turned towards Ayumi, "So, we going on the offensive or defensive?" Kahen asked as he smiled towards her.

"Offensive I guess." she replied, the battle would last too long for both Masaru and Hideyoshi to lose chakra and them to get the advantage, plus Masaru was using puppets so he could favor long battles even more with his puppets not getting tired from stamina. If they wanted an advantage, they had to take at least one of them or the puppet out rather quickly in Ayumi's mind. She knew Kahen was a genjutsu user, she was caught in one of them in their last spar. "If you could lock them in your genjutsu even for split seconds I think I can take at least one of them out. We have to focus on you landing your illusions." she had to come up with a strategy but it was a hard task even when she was fighting alone, now she was fighting side to side with someone whose abilities she doesn't fully know.

There wasn't much of a strategy they could do for now, it would appear during the battle and hopefully they would think the same way when a chance occured. She blinked and smiled to Kahen to give him some motivation "Let's win", created two water clones in front of her and also created bubbles around her to prepare in case she needed to shield herself or Kahen. She took her usual fighting stance and held a kunai with her left hand. She had to somehow get Kahen close to Masaru, his genjutsu would have no effect on puppets after all. Maybe she could use Hidden Mist but then Kahen would also have trouble finding the opposition. She finally asked them if they were ready: "Let's get started shall we?"

”I know that he is a genjutsu user. But I must admit, I do not know very much about his skills with them. I helped him train one of his techniques, which allowed him to change how I saw my surroundings, so you need to be careful. I am not sure about how much he can change, but he was able to make minor changes, such as a road appearing different to me, and major ones as well, such as nearly making me believe that Konoha was on fire. I was able to recognize them as illusions because they contradicted my memory, but he may very well try to make Ayumi invisible to us, or something like that. Alternatively, he might try to make it seem like I seriously hurt Ayumi, thus trying to enrage you enough to attack me yourself.” He told Hideyoshi, and quickly continued. “I assure you, I will not do anything that might cause permanent harm to Ayumi during this match.”

“As for our strategy, I have two main ideas. First I would like to tell you about my improvements from last time we met. I am now able to control two puppets, I have greater range than before, I can move while controlling my puppets and, perhaps most importantly for one of my tactics, I can now make the chakra threads invisible. As for my puppets, they now only have one gauntlet each, but in their other hand, they have a chakra shield. Due to this I have two strategies in mind. We could go on the offensive from the start, with you attacking straight on, covered to either side by a puppet of mine. They would be able to shield you from most attacks, if Ayumi uses her water dragon technique, we would still have to dodge it instead of blocking it, but short of that, I do not believe that they can get through my shields. Depending on how it goes and what you prefer, I could then split my puppets, one helping you, and another trying to keep the other part of their team busy, or we could say that you took one of them, and I took another with my puppets.” This was pretty much Masaru’s first plan. The second one was a little different, a little more… ninja-like.

“My second plan involves a bit of trickery. Neither of our opponents is aware of my improvements. They might suspect that I have improved since last time, and they will probably quickly spot the chakra shield, but they have no way of knowing that I control two puppets. For that reason, we might go decide to start on the defensive, allowing them to close in a bit. As opposed to the first plan, I will only be using one puppet. Well, that would not entirely be correct, as I would have the second puppet pose as me. If I keep its arms and its face covered by the cape, they should not be able to realize that it is not me before it’s too late. Too late as in they have closed in with my puppet, thinking to have me locked down. Instead, one of them will most likely have made themselves vulnerable to my puppet. Your thoughts?”

Hideyoshi listened to Masaru's words carefully, mentally mulling them over for a couple of seconds until he sighed," You have no worries there my friend, illusions or not i would know the difference between a fake and a real...it comes to the heart i suppose, but that isn't the point. So we have a potential unknown, and Ayumi who is with no doubt capable of any range of fighting as long as she has water. I can get around that, but then again she might pull out a water prison or maybe some other kind of restraint move that could inhibit us. This is going to be one hell of a spar, but we have some decent odds against them i suppose," hideyoshi calmly stated as he looked over his shoulder for a moment.


He took the time to listen to each strategy and smiled drawing a line into the dirt for a moment before speaking," Both sound like good ideas, but i have a third option. If i can get close to Ayumi i could momentarily shut her down, which would give you enough time to do something, but the only problem is her water would most likely stop me despite my speed. So what i am proposing is that we go through with both of the plans simultaneously enough to throw throw them off guard then initiate plan three. It is a risky move but it should work in the long run, so now that we have a game plan you set to have some fun partner," he smiled to Masaru as he fully turned around to face his opponents.

Great, how was Kahen suppose to support Ayumi with his techniques. They were all weak to him and they weren't exactly offensive type techniques, so he'll have to fight hand to hand. Which he was weak in. "Well, I could try to lock one of them in." Kahen smiled to Ayumi. He knew that she was a great water ninjutsu user but he didn't know how much better she has gotten. "Win? I'm sure you could take the two of them on yourself because your that great," Kahen smiled at her. He wasn't joking either. He followed her gaze towards the others. "Yes, lets get started," Kahen knew that this was going to be another spar that he loses, hopefully he won't end up near-death like last time.

Ayumi checked her surroundings, the river was behind Masaru and Hideyoshi who stood in front of her, if she wanted the advantage, she had to get there somehow to unleash her jutsus with less difficulty. This would not be easy though as they knew she was a water-user. She looked at everyone to see they are all ready for the spar before she made her first move.

"Here it goes, Suiton: Suuiryudan no Jutsu!", this technique took Masaru's puppet out last time so it would either work again or she would see his improvement if there is one. Ayumi's chakra had been increasing with all the training she was doing lately so this wasn't too much of a chakra loss for her. After 6 handseals a large amount of water would be produced from thin air and shape into a giant, powerful water dragon with big red eyes moving straight towards Masaru to attack her with formidable might. Hideyoshi was a very fast guy and he had a chance of dodging it but Masaru would probably need to block it. Also him being injured could be a small factor in her choice. Hopefully in the meantime Kahen would find some way to use this big distraction against them, as she would.

If this were all to happen, and her 6 handseals were completed before interaction, she would use Body Flicker as the dragon came towards them, blocking their vision. She would move to the river behind them with incredible speed, probably invisible to them and throw 4 kunai towards Masaru from behind him when she arrived and Body Flicker wore off. She was hoping even if they stopped all this, Kahen would probably find time to lock one of them in the meantime or they would learn important stuff about their improvements.
