Mission Name:Helping the academy.
Rank:D-Rank
Type: Help
Character Requirements:N/A
Mission Location:Kumogakure, Ninja academy.
Word Count Requirements:400
Repeatable?Yes.
NPC?N/A
Reward:450.
Task:
The teachers at the academy are looking for some small assistance. Your job is to simply show a group of three academy students the basics of being your rank.
Baenlin was again walking to the ninja academy to give a speech to the students that were ninja hopefuls. This time would be different, he told himself. Thanks to Miss...no, Ininia’s help and reassuring company, he was truly dedicating himself to becoming a better person. She made him want to do that, made him want to be that better person.
He actually entered the classroom before anyone else, including the instructor. He stood there waiting, hands behind his back, listening for first of the students to come and planning out his speech he would be giving shortly. He felt that such occasions were better left unplanned, that speaking to the students as people would affect them more.
The instructor entered after a few moments. This particular instructor was an older (as shinobi go) one that most, and his teaching method tended to bore the students. Baenlin had volunteered for this class in particular just for this reason. He wanted to try and put some enthusiasm back into these children about being a ninja. Baenlin and the instructor exchanged only a brief nod before the instructor took his seat behind his desk to not say another word for the rest of the class.
Eventually the students came in too. As he heard the first of their footsteps, Baenlin activated his Lightning Release: Full Body Current. This made for a great first impression on the students entering the class room, who stared at Baenlin’s unmoving, electrified form as they went to take their seats. The rest of the class went just as well. He told them of the purpose of doing missions, of how it felt to perform jutsu, showed them some tiajutsu with the help of the instructor, and impressed on them all the great things that came with being a ninja. Better yet, he felt himself starting to believe it as well. Baenlin felt as though he had taught himself as much as he had taught the students.
As the students were leaving, Baenlin watched them go and realized that he was shaping the future in teaching these children what he had today. In a way it was exactly what he had wanted all along. He was startled by the revelation, but it was a very pleasing thought, and a relaxing one. He now understood why someone as strong as Inania would take a position as a teacher. Maybe what she wanted and what Baenlin wanted were not all that different. The thought made him feel closer to her without her even being there.
