Path to Glory [PRIVATE, NK]

Yuri sat for a few minutes more, trying to locate Anko. Her thoughts actually began to wonder a few and she began to realize that even though he was of high skill and experience, their doujutsu leveled them out somewhat. Yuri managed to spot Anko, a challenge to be sure, 65ft was quite a distance to hide. Yuri stood up slowly and turned to face Anko. She waved at him with a smile on her face to indicate that she was giving up this fight.

The fight would remain at a complete standstill as Anko became really impressed. Mentally, the Hyuuga had him cornered. However, physically, it seemed as though it was opposite. Anko would notice a sudden wave and smile as he would look over once more. He would sigh, smiling as it seemed the fight was over, both unharmed. Although Anko wished it to be more intense, he realized that the tactics had indeed made a good match. Both could seemingly understand each other well as they fought, or so Anko thought. "Getting hungry, huh?" Anko chuckled, prepared to head back home with the Hyuuga for something to eat. By the color of the sky, it'd seem as though the two would be going out for dinner. Ignoring this, Anko would give a hand signal, telling the girl to follow him back to the village.

Yuri followed Anko back into the city. "Yeah, I'm pretty hungry now." She wiped a bead of sweat off her face. "Oh! I just remembered this great new karaoke place! They have the greatest dumpling! Let's go there!" Yuri did not give Anko a chance to respond before she had grabbed onto his wrist and was dragging him through the streets of Sunagakure no sato. "There it is!" She said pointing up at some windows that were flashing different colors.

"Coo-Whoa!" Anko would say in response to Yuri's idea, only to be interrupted as the Uchiha would be dragged to the restaurant. He would chuckle as he would finally come to a standstill, having arrived at the restaurant. "I guess it's on me!" Anko chuckled. Anko would use his strength to pull Yuri into the restaurant and he would immediately ask for a booth. "Get us tons of dumplings too!" Anko would command atop his request.

Yuri sat in the booth and a big, stupid grin crossed over her face as Anko said her two favorite things, "I'm paying," and "Tons of dumplings." Yuri started to drool a little as the waitress brought out a whole platter full of nothing but dumplings. "Itakemasu!" Yuri broke her chopsticks apart and began to shovel dumplings into her mouth. "Shoh fuud!! MMmmmmm!"

Anko would sigh, laughing as he saw the Hyuuga completely devouring what he ordered. He could see the waitress watch as he would start ordering more platters. As they would come, Anko would slam his hands against the table. "You seem to love those dumplings, huh?" Anko would laugh, the dumplings being served on the table. "Food-eating contest....starting....now!" Anko would begin by grabbing a platter, also shovelling dumplings down his mouth as the brightest of smiles could be shown on his face, the dumplings absolutely delicious. As of this point, Anko would be careless about his food. It seemed his friend was having fun anyways.

It has been a while... Ayumi thought as she walked down the sandy path of Sunagakure. She looked at the buildings, still remembering the last time she was here. She remembered the man who showed her around Suna, who welcomed her warm-heartedly, and gave her a place to stay. Ayumi smiled. Anko... I wonder where he is right now?....Is he doing fine?.... As she was walking, she saw a shop or more of a restaurant really. She hurried towards it since she could really use something to eat right now. As she entered the restaurant, she looked around and saw two ninjas eating: a shinobi and a kunoichi, devouring their food, stuffing everything in their mouths. Ayumi chuckled as she looked at them. Hmm... that guy looks familiar...

Yuri heard Anko's declaration of challenge but, did not stop or acknowledge it as she continued to shove food into her mouth. She pushed aside the empty platter and started on another platter. Half way through this one she heard the door open and paused to look at who had enter. "Hey, Anko. Look at the hottie that just entered the restaurant. A Konoha nin by her headband. I'll call her over here." Yuri saw that she was looking at them and waved her over. "Hey, if you're looking for a place to sit, you can sit with us!" she said.

Anko would still shovel dumplings down his mouth, thinking the competition would commence before hearing something quite sudden from the Hyuuga before him. He would swallow his food and wipe his mouth with a napkin, showing respect as he would look over, only to see a familiar face. "Ayumi!" Anko would shout with joy. It had been quite a while since the two had last met, Anko being in quite a miserabl state during the time. He would smile, waving and inviting the Konoha Nin to the table. Most of the food had already been eaten as Anko would only wish to talk from here-on-in, having the remains boxed. "How are you today?" The Uchiha would continue.

Ayumi smiled and walked towards the two shinobi as the girl invited her to join them. Thats why he seemed so familiar! She thought to herself as the shinobi turned and called her name. She has never seen the girl before, but it didn't bother her since she wasn't in Sunagakure for long anyway. hmm.... A Hyuuga. Ayumi decided to sit beside the girl who seemed to be around her age. "Hi, Anko. I'm feeling great! What about you?" she said to the man, Anko, and turned to look at the girl. "Hi! I'm Ayumi. Nice to met you." she said cheerfully and smiled at her.
